Just came across yer channel, nice to see ye bigging up this little country of ours,if you can get over the crap weather and high cost of living its a great country,if the could put a roof on it in winter months it be great 😂,from the rebel county myself and this country has some amazing sights,as for travelling to the north of Ireland,ye have an irish reg car and irish address ye can drive up and down no issues, check out portrush and the north coast from donegal over to the causeway its amazing scenery
Thank you so much! We are planning on a trip up north, would love to see the causeway. Ireland has so much beauty, it's hard not to feel overwhelmed... so we take it in small doses, savouring every little part of this emerald isle.
Don't know how it is in your area, but we wait for the wind to gather the leaves into a few piles, then clean up. One could spend a 'lifetime' chasing the leaves around. 😉
I have realised this!! It seems the wind gathers all our neighbours leaves too and puts them on our grass... but that's ok, there's less now and the street sweeper took a good load of them away!!
I'm soooo happy Evie is doing so well! The poor mouse. Shame I feel the same about seeing animals suffer no matter their size. Enjoy the holidays! 🎉❤ Looking forward to the next video 😁❤. Have a super day till next we meet again❤
Glad to see Eibhlin back to normal after the accident. Mice in Ireland tend to enter houses when the weather gets colder but haven't had any in about twenty years even though our next door neighbours (renting ladies) had some a couple of years ago and we helped them out by emptying their traps. Best wishes to you all.
Thank you so much! She is flying it! No stopping her! We've already caught 7 mice inside. The worst is finding them after they're caught... I leave that to James.
Autumn is so beautiful! Not sure about Eibhlin being helpful, haha.... more playing than raking!! She was exhausted after all the shenanigans though! xxx
So glad to hear that Evie is feeling well now! Hope you signed the cast and kept it as a memory haha 😅. By the way I like your visuals at the beginning of the video, how you rotated the camera angels that was scenic and definitely it tells more how you appreciate and love the nature around you! Happy to watch you guys!😅
@@impromptuimmigrants Anytime! Its not a nice feeling to see your child in pain as a parent it really hurts inside. Haha the cast isn't a no limit to any kid instead they look for other ways and means! Take care guys!
We watch you because.... you are so wonderful. Greetings from Kigali in Africa. Your intro is so so good, I love your cinematography. You always seem to make my country look so amazing. And you know what.... it is an amazing country, but mostly because of the people. They are in general kind, warm and generous. I'm learning that we have a lot in common with the people of Rwanda. Who are also warm, welcoming and kind. Thanks for investing your time to produce such beautiful videos, you have a lovely family and we are so fortunate to have you in our warm, sunny country. Ooops, sorry I mixed up Rwanda with Ireland there ;-)
Thank you so much for your comment. I think you are quite a bit warmer than us at the moment! How did you end up in beautiful Africa? How long have you lived there? Thank you so much watching :-)
That was two weeks ago, we are back in freezing cold Ireland again. We were on holiday there for 3 weeks, it was magical. So, so different, we are still digesting all of the cultural differences, some good, some just different shall we say....I hope your heating is working !@@impromptuimmigrants
Why I look at your videos is because I would do everything to live overseas. From a little age, I told everyone that I was born on the wrong side of the world. And now, because it's not going well in SA. So ya thats why I looking at your videos. So glad your all doing well, and that your little one iss okay. Thanks for your video. Greatings 🎉
I don't know if they have them in Ireland, or if you want to go through the trouble haha but we have love traps here in the US so the mice don't get killed, and then you bring them at least a mile away from your home so the chances of them returning are slim. Glad you all are well! How's beautiful Blue?
I haven't seen those. We have huge rat trap cages. Will keep an eye out for more humane mice traps. I will answer your question about our lovely Blue in my Q&A xxx
One of my sons was watching the video over my shoulder and he kept yelling, "Kill it!" in my ear!!! We don't show mercy to varmints around here because we've had a couple of mice inside before that ate through so many of our kids' games it was amazing. Also, we have the ubiquitous termite issue.....
If we had not come to the USA we would probably have settled in the UK or Ireland. So green an abundant in all the sights and sounds we long for. Keep in touch and regards from one expat couple to another expat family. Regards, Kobus de Wet

Poor little thing, life can be cruel. See you in the next video x

I so love the rich Autumn colours of the leaves. Eibhlin looks well and very helpful ❤

Thank you so much! We're so happy she's all healed up... although the cast didn't stop her much from her dare devil antics!

Thank you, it is encouraging to hear that. We do miss SA so much though.
Welcome back ❤ great to see you
Thank you so much!
Great News that ‘Evie’ is recovering well.
Thank you! She's running around like it never happened!

@@impromptuimmigrants looking forward to it!
I like that you don't mollycoddle the little one.
I think being the 3rd child helps with that! She's rearing herself :-) She's a very independent little thing.
Delighted Evie is doing well
We had a laugh after it was all done... had 2 boys, not a single broken bone with either of them... we have a girl and she is just wild!!!
You should have stamped on it with a Size 9 Welly ?
Ooh no! I wouldn't have survived that!

Oooh no, I wouldn't kill it. Ended up being more of a shrew than a mouse. Hope you are all well. Lots of love x
Hi Team, where in Ireland are you situated? Have some very good friends in Dublin area.

Hi Kobus, thank you so much for your comment. We live on the South East Coast of Ireland, in a small town called Dungarvan.
If we had not come to the USA we would probably have settled in the UK or Ireland. So green an abundant in all the sights and sounds we long for. Keep in touch and regards from one expat couple to another expat family.

That's not a mouse
What is it? A shrew maybe? That's the only other thing I can think that it could've been.
Little round ears - most likely a Shrew
If you set traps, do you release them in the field again?
I was going to say the same thing it's 100% a pygmy shrew don't kill it I think some are protected
