Auntie's lair is brutal, isn't it ;-) I usually like going very slowly through the noxious cloud area. The vents in the middle of them are very hard to disable with sleight of hands (and are also in the middle of a noxious cloud ;-) ), but throw something heavy on them like a leather armor or even just a heavy stone, and the cloud will disappear. Unless Scratch is with you, because Scratch loooooves playing fetch. The area before that is a really fun one. I love that you tried on one of the masks (after reading "don't wear the mask don't wear the mask don't wear the mask, hihi), but one way to get past the door without killing the person "in" it as well as the masked servants is to have the party don the four masks that can be found before the illusionary door. They can be taken off again after Ethel is defeated. It does add an extra complication, but in a Good-aligned run it can be fun to strive for all innocents to live 🙂 And yeah, a bottle of water is the easiest way to save Mayrina from the fire. Not the only one, by the way, there is a control orb on the other side of the chasm that can also help solve the situation. It is a bit out of the way of where the combat is likely to take place though, so in a masked scenario, you wiould only be fighting with three party members, and everybody in theparty must make a will save every round or be dominated by Auntie. Chaos guaranteed!

that's nuts! i always love trying new things/ways (even masks that say 'don't wear' =D) my next playthrough I'll aim to save Mayrina.
