Auntie's lair is brutal, isn't it ;-) I usually like going very slowly through the noxious cloud area. The vents in the middle of them are very hard to disable with sleight of hands (and are also in the middle of a noxious cloud ;-) ), but throw something heavy on them like a leather armor or even just a heavy stone, and the cloud will disappear. Unless Scratch is with you, because Scratch loooooves playing fetch. The area before that is a really fun one. I love that you tried on one of the masks (after reading "don't wear the mask don't wear the mask don't wear the mask, hihi), but one way to get past the door without killing the person "in" it as well as the masked servants is to have the party don the four masks that can be found before the illusionary door. They can be taken off again after Ethel is defeated. It does add an extra complication, but in a Good-aligned run it can be fun to strive for all innocents to live 🙂 And yeah, a bottle of water is the easiest way to save Mayrina from the fire. Not the only one, by the way, there is a control orb on the other side of the chasm that can also help solve the situation. It is a bit out of the way of where the combat is likely to take place though, so in a masked scenario, you wiould only be fighting with three party members, and everybody in theparty must make a will save every round or be dominated by Auntie. Chaos guaranteed!

To simply knock out the enemy, below hotbar, passive tab to select non-lethal combat( only works with melee weapons). You get the XP for winning the fight and you can loot. And that enemy lives.

Ability Score Improvement are great feats. The primary Ability score goal is 20. You get 3 feats for most single classes, Fighters and Rogues get 4 feats.

Non-lethal attacks are for melee attacks only. No magic or ranged attacks, melee only.

Yes, Minthara is recruitable, you spare her life now, use melee, non-lethal attack. It is a passive on the hotbar. Then as she lays there unconscious, you leave her area. You'll find her again in about 40 more hours of game time. Then she will need you, and join you.

Hold left alt, right click on enemy portrait to find them. Battles tend to be larger than the typical camera view.

On your inventory page, look to the right of your head, your camp clothing; shirts, shoes are there. Go to merchants get new shirts, find some dyes, you'll get options soon.

It is good to collect the tadpoles you find, you could use them later on.

Wizards learn spells from scrolls you obtain, scribe into their grimoire. The others can only read it to cast that spell at that moment.

Once you get your strong warrior ladies, they will toss goblins everywhere.😊

Hi, a goblin weighs 70, you can pick them up and throw them. When near ledges of any type, shove them over the edge. Climb ladders to get above the enemies, if they come up to you, just knock them back down.

The goblin base I see. As a true soul I get in and tell them I am there to see the drow I like to let the spiders loose. MoMo O'brien has a good video about the options you can take there. Lure the Goblin Priestess into her office by telling her I want to be cured. with the door closed I kill her. I send in one character invisible to the cells where Halsin is imprisoned and kill the lone goblin plus the two to the left. The goblin children are throwing stones at Halsin in bear form. I bring in my other characters as Halsin breaks out and I help him kill the remaining Goblins. I also help him kill the worgs. He stays in the cell area and I go to where Minthara is.I have my invisible character destroy the alert drum in the area /then I go in and steal something in front o=f Minthara casuing a fight.I knock her out but don't kill her.I kill the other goblin present and destroy the eye. Then I go and set off bombs where Draslin I think his name is ,and kill the other Goblins in the facility. I had a hard time killing the ones outside but that is because I forgot the horn . What I will do next time is use the horn to summon the ogres I hired to fight the other goblin on the outside . It is a very challenging fight. Congrats.

I'm so glad you did this Stef! Seeing all the G&S alums together was wonderful. The play is fantastic, you did a great job.

Ooh 😬. You've kinda rushed to the section before act two and you're missing 3 party members. You're also way under powered to be where you are right now which is why battles are such a slog. What you've been doing so far affects things that will happen in the future and if certain characters are there or not. Now there's nothing wrong with that if you're not bothered, you could always choose different options next time you play and things will be different. It has great Replay ability. Just thought I'd mention this if you want to make the most out of the game/make it more enjoyable. The best option is to reload at the beach or you can go back to it if you're ok with your decisions so far. Then explore the map from the bottom up. You seem to get kinda distracted when playing. It's best to pay attention to the things you read, explore everywhere and interact with every NPC you can. There's a diary in game to keep you on track too. Sorry for waffling on, feel free to ignore everything I said 😆. Just thought I'd help out since it's such a great game.

Just for the record explorer is for beginners so you also have a health boost With the second option your life is lower and it will be harder. But it does offer better results and rewards if you can do it on harder levels. So it’s why I like playing this game. Oh I also want to point out there are hidden stuff that you can come across and every time you play you run into new challenges and stuff so amazing.

You should attempt to save the Druid Grove.

Perform side quests to earn XP and gain gold to buy good gear to be more formidible and gain levels to defeat the tougher enemies. Find your other companions in each act. Good luck

To find enemies around your battle site. Left-Alt and click on their portrait to find them, even if you can't see them, you know where they are. Send AOE(area of effect) damage down on them.

Shoot hanging braziers to make them drop down onto the enemy. Throw water bottles to get enemies wet then use cold and or electric spells on these wet enemies for great damage. Make use of wizard grease spells or grease bottle grenades to then ignite for fire damage. You are doing well.

To get info. on the enemies, place cursor on them or their portrait and press "T" inspect.

There are barrels that can be ignited for explosive fire damage. The alcohol, smokepowder, oil barrels and nautiloid tanks. You can pickup a barrel, right click on it in the inventory and Send to Camp, until you need them. Weak strength characters can not carry a lot, get those strong warrior ladies in your party.

You are in balanced mode, you can multi class your characters if you would like to add a level or so of Fighter. You can change classes to another if you don't like the one the game selected for you. Fighters, Barbarians, Paladins are the best melee warriors. Those that deal ranged magic damaged stay in the back row. A cleric wearing heavy armor can go forward or stay back, very versatile. Once you recruit a warrior your fights will be easier to manage.
