+JLEET also true, but the events of halo: reach happened before halo: ce, where would noble six have been all this time? And sorry for the bad english, i'm swiss
Clone Sergeant Skylight i wish it was, but the falcon should have gotten blown up at the end because the story line is BEFORE halo ce, and noble six and jun aren't in halo 1, 2, 3, O.D.S.T, or 4
McninjaMax Well, just because you don't see them in the games doesn't mean that they didn't survive. Noble 6 died in the actual ending, but Jun is still alive and helped train some of the Spartan IVs.
Whoa, this is incredible. It makes so much sense because Jun could've finished escorts with Dr Halsey and came back just in time to save Noble Six before he gets brutally slaughtered by either normal elites or the special ones(I forgot what they were called.) I'll favorite and like this. Well-made stranger.
different types of elites I'll name a few Elite Minor,Elite Major,Elite Ranger,Elite B.O.B.,Field Marshal, and the special ones you're most likely referring to are Zealots
true plus we never saw noble 6's body or Emile's body lying around so its obvious they're just together somewhere trying to find a way to contact a ship to save them and them and possibly others are still on reach
Mark VI Productions i still classify him as MIA like every spartan is when they die or disappear but hey we still never saw noble 6's corpse only his helmet which looks like a human bullet went through it so I know no momma hatin ungoy"grunt" shot noble six so he might've survived no one knows for fact.....btw yes I hate grunts....
This should have happened! And then Jun and Noble 6 should have been on Locke's Spartan team who hunted Master Chief to make you actually care about the Spartans!
Yeah I get putting Blue Team with Chief if he had to have a team with him because they have history. But whenever you add chracters like Tanaka and Vail that you don't jave time to develop AT ALL, just add characters that we would know already
yes yes YES!!! I have lately been thinking about the possibility of a halo game that takes place before reach and its noble 6 before he became part of the noble team. 343 needs to do something to cater more towards the bungie halo fans. I swear halo will end turning into the sonic series where the fanbase gets split into two categories The people who before the classics and the ones who prefer the newer games
I like the ending to reach. It shows his bravery and honor, as a spartan his loyalty to reach, he saved the human species. Even if he did survive they would of somehow had to fit him in to halo 1 and shit. Personally i feel like it made sense, bungie was showing there last fight for the halo franchise sense they were kicked from the halo team, it was there LAST fight, there last time, that's why.
This is the way Bungie should've ended it, Not kill the character you like the most. I mean seriously, every game in the halo series (excluding Halo: Wars and Halo 3: ODST) , we played as Master Chief, this tall green dude that is getting boring, let us enjoy someone other then Master Chief.
this was pretty cool, I really enjoyed it. i know its fake but it was so believable I loved it. i do love the real story as well when he dies. but I still love this as well
The amount of work put into this short film is amazing. Great attention to the angles used to give a very "cinematic" feel to the alternative ending. It would have been great indeed if Jun DID come back and assist Noble Six during his last moments on Reach. The handheld scenes were a bit off and shakey, but nonetheless it had a very authentic feel all around; right down to the sound clips used and the last scene with the Mark VI helmet being equipped at the end of the video. The amount of wiggle-room that Bungie left for the zoom/normal POV is a bit difficult to work with, but it was still used very well in my opinion. I don't critique a lot of machinimas, but it is very rare to find a fan made film in this type of quality. Exceptional work, User Mark VI!
Thunderwolf Gaming If you survive long enough in the final level it will skip the cutscene of Noble Six dying and go right to the epilogue. So, this technically COULD be the ending.
RecklessInsomniac no way i know a guy who survived like 8hours on legendary just sitting in 1 spot the whole time lol seriously look it up on reach file share. what do we have to keep fighting to see the epilogue?
I would have preferred this ending or one like this. Even though it was a prequel and we all knew Reach would fall to the Covenant, I hate the idea of the main character dying at the end. The first time I played I actually tried to run off into the sunset but that damn "return to battlefield" flashed across my screen lol. Nice work.
This is how it should have ended if you held them off for a certain amount of time. I hated how the UNSC just abandoned him because if you dig in the lore, you will find that Noble 6 was supposed to be the one to do Master Chief's job, Master Chief was more of a substitute. And also why does he get the Infinity to go across the galaxy to find Chief, when Noble 6 was there when the UNSC was still there and they did nothing!? It just is poor planning. Oh well, hopefully my oddly phrased and hard to understand rant makes sense to you...
Actually, the Pillar of Autumn was specially selected for a mission called Operation: RED FLAG. The mission was for the Master Chief and the rest of the Spartan-IIs to board a large Covenant ship and head to the Covenant "Home World" and capture one of their leaders to try and end the war, but when Reach was attacked, everything fell apart and John was one of the only surviving Spartan-IIs. Noble 6 was just given the task to take a fragment of Cortana to the Autumn.
Halo Nation. And yes, Mark VI Productions is correct, but that's in The Fall of Reach (The book) Canon. In Halo Reach many things are different in terms of canon (Ex: The book had Pillar of Autumn in orbit already, where as it was docked in a shipyard in the game). But it says that Master Chief was going on thee mission to attack a covy ship and capture a Prophet, Noble 6 was just getting off the planet (And for Cortana to be his AI). Oh yeah, I should probably say nice Machinama! I meant to say that on the first post!
brandon samuels I'm sorry but literally every comment you've posted has been wrong. That was not the shipmaster at the end of Halo Reach, Jun didn't die in Halo Reach (ALL the Pelicans in Halo Reach have NOBLE on the side). The war started with the Covenant 27 years before the game Halo Reach. Everything you said is wrong.
have you read the bungie post? jun dies on reach and ive only seen like three pelicans that say NOBLE on the side out of the possibly fifty seen. and also the war was about the rebels on reach until, the covenant ATTACKED reach
**Spoilers** Jun actually has appeared a few times since Halo Reach. He is now a Commander in the Spartan IV program and trains the Spartan IVs. He recruited Sarah Palmer into the program, along with Buck and Romeo (from Halo 3: ODST). Noble 6 has however been confirmed dead by Jun himself, so we won't really be seeing him again.
Mark VI Productions Sadly I know this... the first time I heard about Jun appearing in a new comic I was counting on noble six to be alive too. However that is simply not the case *sheds tear*
***** The Halo: Initiation comic series that came out last year shows that Jun is still alive. He's the one who chose Sarah Palmer to be one of the first Spartan IVs
i always thought that he was master cheif because of the halo reach campaign and halo CE book that comes with the game says they escaped with last spartan.
He was in castle base when white glove was activated, him and some other Spartans escaped to the tunnels below. That is the last confirmed fact about Jun
What always pissed me off is that Jun stayed on the Pillar of Autumn to 'protect' Halsey. She was sorrounded by hundreds of soldiers in one of the UNCS's frigates, he was needed on the ground to fight covenant. If he hadn't stayed on the ship Six might still be alive.
This would make a good set up for a Halo Reach II or an expansion on Noble 6's character like they go to another planet or Earth and help the ODST's or some cool other game like Reach. But I don't think they had the money or plans to do it.
Brian Oseguera While Spartans are traditionally labelled as MIA to give the illusion that they never die, 343 confirmed that Noble 6 is dead in the new book, Halo: New Blood.
Jun didnt die and got picked up by a pelican and stuff bla bla bla and recruited Buck The ODST In the spartan program And Buck is now in halo 5 lol but Noble Six Did Die :( R.I.P
Haha just my weird opinion!: on the helmet at the end there is a bullet shot, this cannot be, the elites had no weapons near him only energy sword.. I think noble six was saved and he shot his own helmet because he was getting a black or gold visor for his bravery and for being a noble soldier... Just a personal opinion Tell me what you think?
I wish this was legit, like play the last mission on legendary and you have to hold out long enough to where jun and the odst comes and saves you. Imagine the possibility for the rest of the Halo games.
WHY THE FUCK DIDNT THEY MAKE IT LIKE THIS!!!!! I broke my Xbox controller when I saw happened like this then got a refund on the game I would have preferred it this way instead of a giant fuck u ending. like if u agree
you know Emile should of came out of no where walking slow because of his injuries. its fucking Emile. hes a badass who can survive a stupid Energy Sword. he literally turned around and stabbed the guy. buy the time we walk up there to see him hes just lying there. i think he was knocked out because of the intense pain. i mean seriously i can see Emile in the Falcon with Patches on his stomach if Jun saved him before Noble 6. or him walking into the fight to join Noble 6s Rescue and get saved with him. thats just my opinion. Emile is Tuff enuf to survive. he is. but with that said. of corse Kat, Jorge and Carter are totally dead. Carter was the only one who i think really did die. because the ways that kat and Jorge die are so lame. like Kat just gets a Headshot out of nowhere with her shields up. and Jorge was Stupid to sacrifice himself just incase more do come. i mean he could of atleast let someone else do it for him. its just bad writing for them to die. it was. Carters was more better and made sense to knockout a Scarab with a broken pelican. duh lol
Emile did live the energy sword stabbing but he must of bleed out that can happen I kinda agree Emile could have live I don't think he would have bleed out the fast.
+Tommy Vercetti Halo Reach has the worst story out of all the Halo games in my opinion. It would have been so much cooler if you spent the game fighting alongside your fellow Spartans right up until the last mission where you have a final stand and get picked off one by one.
When I first complete reach I honestly expected this to happen XD I was like " typical cliff hanger so predictable, juns gonna shoot any second now....any second....right about now....getting pretty close but I'm pretty sure, oh shit, never mind! :(
This should play after an invisible time limit is reached like around 15-20 minutes after many elites and zealots, it wouldn’t change the outcome of reach itself but it would make so that noble six earns their way off reach through blood sweat and tears
Funnily enough, if you read the description for the Commander Palmer Avatar armour on the XBL Marketplace, it says that she was" hand-picked by former Spartan-III Jun A-266 to be one of the first candidates in the new Spartan IV program", so it's either that he chose her before the Fall of Reach (which I find unlikely), or that he survived.
I like this ending, but I think the original is better. The whole point of Lone Wolf was to convey why the Covenant were so dangerous. Lets be real. We've been kicking their asses for 3 games now with Halo 1-3. Why exactly is humanity on its last leg again? Reach made us realize that the Covenant are indeed ruthless, indeed dangerous and that not every hero gets a heroes death and gets send out with a bang. Some heroes, die because they are exhausted and get overwhelmed. I think thats the strength of Halo Reachs ending. Making us dread the Covenant again. In Halo 1-3 I never thought they were dangerous, at all.
As far as I know, the only 2 Arbiters seen in the Halo games are Ripa 'Moramee from Halo Wars and Thel 'Vadamee, which is the Arbiter seen in Halo 2 and 3. I don't remember anything about one during the Fall of Reach.
Well there is a prevailing theory that Naomi-from the Kilo-5 saga- is from Red Team Bravo company, and that she was rescued; who's to say Noble 6 wasn't also rescued
I love this idea! I don't know for certain how well it fits in with whatever Jun was up to by the end of the game, but details will be details. Great work here! ...Oh, and before I forget, ODSTs rock! xD
I don't even see why people would think it's some kind of unusual Elite anyway. The Elite's wearing the same colour armour as the other Elite Zealots, so it's probably a Zealot.
while it's nice to speculate and dream that this happened. If Noble Six were to live I feel like the story would have tonal whiplash. It was building up the solemn nature of your imminent death, but then all of the sudden that is thrown out the window. It would have been cool if he had lived, but I understand and appreciate the artistic point in his death.
Really well done, keeping Noble 6's face out of all shots, not having terrible impressionists, but most of all an incredibly great way to see a different ending to an increadibly great game!
I've always wondered:
What if 6 went with them, and they still got away?
Master Chief + Noble 6...
Imagine the epicness lol
Then halo 1 would have to be redone
well reach is after ce in the release timeline so it would screw up the story timeline if he lived, but what if you get him in halo 5
+colby arioto what if agent locke was noble 6 in halo 5
Htoo Hu Noble 6 is dead.
colby arioto colby halo reach is before ce
99% of the people who watched this would prefer this as the original ending
+Pietro Zala Not true, i'd love to see the return to a Reach 2 with a great story and shows how they survived
+JLEET also true, but the events of halo: reach happened before halo: ce, where would noble six have been all this time? And sorry for the bad english, i'm swiss
+JLEET Only Noble 6, Emile and Jun Should be in it though. Plus this may start an uproar, but I prefer noble six to master chief all the way.
I agree

This is a better ending in my opinion.
Spartan yea

it's a zelat elite
Where the fuck would they go reach gets glassed
They probably had a frigate still out in space they could've gone too
Tons of covenant ships were at reach any frigate still there would be destroyed.
Maybe this did happen but you just don't see it.
Nope we saw six get stabbed by an energy sword by a zealot
owais khan Well that gives my hopes up, oh wait even if he did survive, the fleet probably glassed that area anyway.
I thought in the book fall of reach jun was killed by the arbiter.... Not the one we know, but yeah an arbiter
Jun didn't get killed he's still alive books wrong
Yeah because the jerk alien had his foot in the way
Spartans never die
They're just missing in action
true plus we never saw noble 6's body or Emile's body lying around so its obvious they're just together somewhere trying to find a way to contact a ship to save them and them and possibly others are still on reach
+Tommy Holm Emile's body is laying next to the MAC cannon.
Mark VI Productions never saw it
Yeah he's leaning up against the railing next to a dead Elite

This should have happened! And then Jun and Noble 6 should have been on Locke's Spartan team who hunted Master Chief to make you actually care about the Spartans!
so true bro

Its only 6 years.

To all those who think this would of been a better ending
For fuck sake guys the cliffhanger it would bring...
But still at least we would know he survived

Everyone hates cliffhangers......
Also it'd demolish the Halo Lore,
NOD Gaming true......
they put the cliffhanger there for a reason, us.
Jun for the Win I wish this was the real ending!

I'm gonna be honest, when the falcon flew over Jun as he's sniping, that's a badass scene
this ending is so awesome, it had to be a ledendary ending
i wish that was the ending but the real ending was like the origin of the master chief
this would work for an ending more or less if you survived like at least an hour if not more and kills 100's of covenants ...
On legendary I only survived 21:17
On easy I found a way to survive forever, but you do have to watch out for vehicles and a few generals

if this was the ending it woud me me happy and make me cry because this woud be the best ending

But it's pretty sweet tell bungie to change the end to this on halo reach and alpha 9 the Odsts go to reach once it has fallen
Bungie Retired
+Jassiel Salinas They didn't retire, they just stopped making Halo games.
Mark VI Productions True but I wish they came back they made halo games feel like halo games
Jassiel Salinas How Halo games feel is just a matter of opinion. I think all of the Halo games feel like Halo games in their own ways.
+Mark VI Productions Nice machinmas!
thank you for this ending it brought me to think that noble 6 can live on in memory of the halo players
That was freaking awesome. I almost said this on the re-upload that some d-bag uploaded. This gave me chills at the end. Nice work!
THIS is how halo should have ended

The Halo: Initiation comic series that came out last year shows that Jun is still alive. He's the one who chose Sarah Palmer to be one of the first Spartan IVs

no they went to castle base
no, they both would've died. Two spartans cannot fight off the whole covenant
That was really awesome, nice work and idea. With Jun being with him, that makes the Pilot, ODST and Six all get out alive. :)
easily the best done alternative ending ive seen
I still prefer the original. It betrays the heart and soul of the whole game up to this point to end on such a happy note.
Agreed.

Haha just my weird opinion!: on the helmet at the end there is a bullet shot, this cannot be, the elites had no weapons near him only energy sword.. I think noble six was saved and he shot his own helmet because he was getting a black or gold visor for his bravery and for being a noble soldier...
Just a personal opinion
Tell me what you think?
ItzJustzMehz | Machinima Actor The helmet starts to crack as you take damage during the mission (getting shot or hit by the enemy).
Yes, but we all know that the covenant don't use bullets, they use plasma
Okay... so you're saying that he shot his own helmet during the mission...?
Nah, it was my weird opinion, cause master chief doesn't have the same visor throughout the series.. So idk. Maybe the pilot "Jun" saved him =]
Who knows? Maybe Jun was there, took a shot at an elite but hit six instead 😂 we miss sometimes, just saying... Another weird theory
I wish Reach ended like this
That is bad ass!

+Tommy Vercetti Halo Reach has the worst story out of all the Halo games in my opinion. It would have been so much cooler if you spent the game fighting alongside your fellow Spartans right up until the last mission where you have a final stand and get picked off one by one.
Idiot idiot its Emile I've had the game 5 years
+OpTicFaZe Ca3ey I would say he died from failure of vital organs. the energy sword would have probably cauterized the wound.
+Trices Mailwind Most likely.
Dat photoshop at the end doe
The best photoshop I have ever seen
aaron warburton Photoshop used for you know "Photos". This is done by a video editing program, photoshop can do a lot of things but not everything.
Chin Nation Do I care?
aaron warburton Well you should care because I just help clear up your Ignorance.
But mate I have more important things to worry about
When I first complete reach I honestly expected this to happen XD I was like " typical cliff hanger so predictable, juns gonna shoot any second now....any second....right about now....getting pretty close but I'm pretty sure, oh shit, never mind! :(
This should play after an invisible time limit is reached like around 15-20 minutes after many elites and zealots, it wouldn’t change the outcome of reach itself but it would make so that noble six earns their way off reach through blood sweat and tears
And this is why I love your videos, the great camera angles, body acting and editing with jun's voice, I can't wait to see your next video.
I wish noble 6 actually did live he was a hero
I wish this was the ending
Holy shit! Perhaps the greatest ending for such an awesome game.
In Halo 1-3 I never thought they were dangerous, at all.
this honestly should be the legendary ending brilliant work and great job at editing in the falcon looks so natural to the cutscene
Love it. Great use of camera angles and in-game dialogue. This would have made a fantastic ending to Halo Reach.
Halo: Noble
It would be about how noble team met
THIS.
IS.
*PERFECT*
best ending scene, approprial to the fabulous game, you are a *professional* producer, i have a *stars* in my eyes..
Literally amazing! I really wish this was the actual ending!
This should be the ending because jun didnt die and imagine halo4 and 5 with jun and noblw 6
I'm sorry, keys could have left him a falcon or something so he could possibly get off the planet
@NovaPrime the ending was made not to show him/her dying so that the player could kind of choose what happened to 'their' six
Wow, this is the alternative ending I've been searching for in the game
As far as I know, the only 2 Arbiters seen in the Halo games are Ripa 'Moramee from Halo Wars and Thel 'Vadamee, which is the Arbiter seen in Halo 2 and 3. I don't remember anything about one during the Fall of Reach.
Well there is a prevailing theory that Naomi-from the Kilo-5 saga- is from Red Team Bravo company, and that she was rescued; who's to say Noble 6 wasn't also rescued
This was awesome, great job.
I'd honestly prefer this ending over the Bungie version.
In my opinion... THIS IS THE BEST ENDING THAT THE GAME CAN HAVE!
The scenes with the Falcon were shot on the map "Spire" ;)
This is exactly how reach should have ended awesome!
This is amazing! I loved this!
You can't always have a "happy" ending.
Still fire after all they’s years
I love this idea! I don't know for certain how well it fits in with whatever Jun was up to by the end of the game, but details will be details.
Great work here! ...Oh, and before I forget, ODSTs rock! xD
Let it be always known that Six could have been vibing with Chief on Installation 04 if Emile had just watched his back.
when jun said "open fire!" the setting changed into a base like part in Asźod, Eposz!
When the sangheili holding his energy sword in the lefet hand come on, man doesn't that get people into wars.
Oh and I forgot to me too that after the fall of reach he was choosing the candidates for the Spartan 4 program
10 years later, I still wish this was the legendary ending.
That was really good use of green screen at the end.
This is actually really good, nice work!
Halo reach legendary ending
Jun was involved in recruiting Sarah Palmer the main spartan commander in spartan ops.
I know that. I said that it's never been said that an Arbiter was on Reach during the battle, let alone killed by John and his squad.
A true masterpiece
Has anyone noticed that the ODST trooper’s shoulder pads changed? Awhile ago he was wearing GUNGNIR. And now he’s
wearing ODST. Strange!!!
all i can say is, you did one hell of a great job!!
