Like many successful people, you will have projects that fail or are not finished but that's just part of learning. I think you are capable of creating and publishing a game and I am subscribing to see that moment!
Keep it up! I'm in a similar situation as you. Never shown anyone any projects I've worked on from multiple engines and nearly a decade of messing around. I think your taking the right step. I hope to do the same one day. You have way more to show than me from the clips you just showed. I'm bad about going down rabbit holes trying to understand fundamentals instead of just creating. I say that to encourage you and not to beat myself up.
Thank you for the kind words! Honestly, having a strong grasp on the fundamentals is important to letting your creativity run wild! Part of why I'm making these videos now is because I was encouraged by the community of game designers and developers that I see on here, and I hope to be that encouragement to someone else some day.
Not sure how I found this video, but I subscribed and will gladly wait for your next videos. One thing that can keep you motivated is probably video devlogs
Thank you! I considered it, but i didn't for two reasons. I didn't want this video to come across as promoting the game. That wasn't the intent. And I want to update the steam page before I link it. I'm working on another video about that specific game, so maybe I'll link it then!
