Thanks a LOT to all DOOBIE BROS. A lot of BLES...SINGS to all the BAND !
Thanks!
When music was good and simple. Love peace and rock n roll 😊
That’s how it’s done. People coming together without anger nor politics. Just listening to the music and vibing with one another! Beautiful!
Talkin' bout my generation
After 50 years, they still sound better than 80% of the music put out today. Love these guys.
100 dude?
I Tautoko that Brother's 👍😎
Amen, brother at 72
I'll take them to the grave and heaven!
no sadly they would not younger money loaded and much much better
They’re sounding better now than THEY did 50 yrs ago!
The days when people enjoyed themselves, so glad I lived and enjoyed these times
Indeed
These happy times will come again...
Yes it was the late great 70/80 some of the best music and concerts ever!

Toms vocals are amazing , after 50 years he sounds as good as he did on their first album , Bravo to a fantastic band and their dedication to performing live for their fans whenever possible
True
Good~^^
It is more than 50 years . I heard them live in the early 1970's in Myrtle Beach, S.C. . The entire band is still sounding like they did over 60 years ago !
That's Burton Cummings
@@dancooper One of the best singers of all time. The Guess Who was one of my favorites growing up. 👍
The music of this era is the best ever produced. I graduated highschool 1973, this stuff was all over the radio plus wed all go to the swollen head to buy lps every week. Marvelous. There’s nothing i like about today’s music. Thank you doobies.
There is nothing greater than the Doobies, “Listen to the Music!” An anthem to Rock & Roll!!
Takes me back to great memories, better time.,..
ich bin 50 Jahre in der Vergangenheit angekommen und ich genieße diese wunderbare Musik und mir geht dabei gut - ganz liebe Grüße aus Deutschland - das war halt noch MUSIK!
This is what we call real music and bands at their best....long live this era of music...thank you Doobies!
My Gosh I was 10 Years Old when this band was on the radio I remember hearing daily !
MTV unplugged is also real music. Only acoustic instruments. Listen to MTV unplugged Eric Clapton from 1992. This is the only real MTV unplugged concert. No pickups, only microphones.
how sad we have lost the days of good music, we will never have this class of people again
Tom's voice just gets better!
I was saved in Ukiah by the doctors in the hospital and 75 I wrecked my 500 hp Ford 17 years old, went through the windshield, and received so many stitches I could not count🙈😳 they called me Scarface in Lakeport high school my senior year🥳 I didn’t care I was alive🙏🏼 God bless those doctors 10 hours of plastic surgery💪🏼🤔 Ukiah is special to me and sacred. 🖖🏼
As a 62 year old musician,it gives me a smile to see in these videos of the old rockers still performing- I HATE the term "classic rock"- that,no matter who the band is,there are always teenagers,or even younger,in the crowd, loving the music.Good taste transcends age.
What do you think is wrong with the term "classic rock"? I think it just describes a certain style or genre of - BTW - great music. I have a collection of about 300 CDs of Classic Rock, and I love them all!
What the people need is more of this classic rock in their life. It’s 2023 and I would love to see them in concert before the year is over.
Thank you to my wonderful Aunt Cindy for playing their music while she babysat us. Because of her, I have listened and loved this band for a long time! I will always listen to their music and remember my Aunt❤❤
Loudest, best concert I ever attended. Them boys knew how to bring a stadium along for the ride.
Just when we think the world is going to crap, we are reminded there is still magic when we hear these guys play and sing and for a few moments, everything is alright. Thank you 🙂
Thank you for reminding us Duff Man70:)+ xoxo, muah!Peace! God bless you for your kindness.

Roll down the window and crank it up.
We need more
Music today not sme black rapper calling us cracker?
magic ? ok where point me in the wrong direction
and that Boys & Girls is what us "older" people call music !
I will never forget as a teenager, babysitting for the Marketing Director of Infinity Records, the night that he brought home the Gold Record plaque for this song, showed up home with just about the entire office in the NY suburbs at like 11pm. Infinity was a start up, this and “Margarita Ville” were their early successes.
My first concert on 1969 at Massey Hall, & my last at the Budweiser stage
Love the Doobies ❤
I was there in 69
It was my first concert
Saw them again maybe 4/5 years ago at Budweiser stage
What’s a privilege to attend a Doobie Brothers concert twice. Once in a casino in Oklahoma and once in Kansas city.
Neat to see people in the audience that weren't even born when the Doobies rolled onto the scene in the 70's!
My God....................excellent Band......................................unforgetable..........................
This is what I call Music....
Comfort food for my soul. And, one of the most polished bands in existence.
It's Friday so there's nothing left to do but enjoy and" Listen to the Music!!"
A Gonzalez
Dance our blues away ...
No disrespect to Michael McDonald but this is Tom Johnston's Doobie Brothers. His songs brought the people alive!!
James Pratt
These great musicians truly come together here, having so much fun. This is what their fans love. Listen to the music.
@@jennyc9360 You got it Jenny C. This is what the people want to hear. 50 years and still going strong. Love it!!
You got that right!
INCREDIBLE SONG, ENERGY & GREAT LYRICS. ♥ Tom Johnson being Back with the Doobies here!! 👍
These past couple of years, our world has moved off its axis for many of us. For me, after playing this, it’s moved back in place.
48 years later and they still sing it fresh as ever!
This must be one of the happiest songs ever created. This performance gave me goosebumps.
What I love most about this is the joy it puts on all the faces ON the stage after all these years.
I love to see how the people of our generation can still live these moments of great joy with their idols. D.B. is one of my favorite bands since I was a teenager and forever. Go Doobie Bros.!!!
The Doobies are like a comfortable pair of shoes I've worn my entire life! #Respect
Tom Johnston, Patrick Summon.. And their friends still rock 🌟
Great song, the people still want to dance when hear it!👌😃
Freshman high school dance, this song and Long Train Running were great dance tunes. Impressing the girls with my moves. Good Times.
Seein' all the guys together never gets old. Doobies forever!
Amazing! They sound just as good after 50 freaking years.
I have loved the Doobies for over 40 years and when I hear their music it takes me right back to that original time. ❤
Without doubt, this old girl will always ❤the Doobies, ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!
This song always made me smile, still does.
Isn't it great how music is a time machine, takes you back
Although not a big country, having lived in Dallas for 8 years in the late '70s I discovered some of Clint Blacks music. A song of Clint's that echos your sentiment about time travel is State of Mind. Very much worth a listen..
Ain't it funny how a melody can bring back a memory
Take you to another place in time
Completely change your state of mind
It can make a right from a wrong, it can make you fall in love
It can get you singin' along
Chase the clouds away and make the sun shine above
I wanna be like Patrick Simmons when i get to his age. He is impossibly cool.
"impossibly cool"...gonna have to borrow that one
Ageless treasure. All time favorite band.
I absolutely love love them, all of them! I do miss the vocalist that was with them in the 80s. They all look like they’re still having a great time and so am I at 65.
I listen to them quite often and still love them as much as I did in the 70s in Santa Barbara!
Saw them with Michael McDonald two months ago 50th anniversary Las Vegas and they were still totally awesome!✌️🤩👍
Are they in the music hall of fame?
@@reg12269Yes.
Very much needed in these 2020 times! Thanks Doobies!!
Absolutely, Andrew...this music has such positive power, I’m realizing now at age 60. For a few years now, since we’re able to find and listen to pretty much any of the favorite music that has meant so much to us over the years anytime we want, I listen to music again, now, mostly at night. And this band’s music is what I listen to most often, especially The Captain and Me; I love the original era of the band the best. I realize now the amazing power music has for so many good things. It has, in effect, help save me!
They keep improving already great classics. The songs are evolving
eu ouvindo ém 2023 alguém mais dá minha época inacessível
Fantastic! Great band. Wonderful performers. This is real music. It’s eternal
Damn I love Pat's guitar work at the end. I melted the vinyl off of "Best of the Doobies" growing up.
One of those Doobie Brother's songs that put a smile on your face whether you are hearing it in concert or at home.
Music was so awesome back then!
When America was Melting Pot. TODAY WE ARE A FUCKING MESS!
I never get tired of hearing this band - they are simply magic ....
Thank God awesome bands like this are still with us! I hope they give us another 20 years. This is real music. This is how it's done.
One of the BEST bands ever!!!!!!
This is one of my Favorite Songs of ALL time. This, and China Grove. P.K.
I'm from New Orleans. Love Black Water. Pat Simmons said he was in New Orleans when he wrote the song. I could tell. Been following the Doobies since the seventies when I was a teenager. Great time to be alive. Great music.
I love Tom’s voice.😍
Hello Darlene
There are few young people in audiance... If one of the is reading this right now: You are the one who knows how to live my friend, you are one step away from your equals, do not lose it!
Covered this and many other doob songs on drums in my band days. How blessed they are. RIP Keith.
Do you know what we see here? Good vibes for all generations, touching their souls. What a good thing!
My parents had one of those station wagons with fake wood paneling on the side, we would go camping everywhere and the brothers of the Doobie would somehow be there with us too, happy times. Peace and love to you.
What an awesome band. They sound better than ever! Please dont ever let this music fade away!
I agree! I am playing this song with my cover band!
Its part of our generation. Our heritage. Our life and soul. When we go....it goes with us.
The audience really seems to be enjoying the performance.
These were the days people loose their minds #peacefully getting lost in the music 🎶 my era of productions 👏🏾💓💓💓
These guys are American Rock n Roll, play it, sing it, awesome. Was sitting outside at a restaurant several, several years ago in Baltimore on the water, and THE DOOBIE BROTHERS were in the amphitheater across the water singing this song and it was like being on the stage with them. Will never forget my good fortune that night. Awesome BAND!
Each song a masterpiece. They take me back to a wonderful place and time. You guys rock!!
LIFE SWEET FREEDOM 🎯😉🌟💯💯😎🦉👁️✌️😎🎯
I was playing in a rock band in 1972. This was one of our favorite cover tunes.
We are so lucky some good old bands of the seventies and eighties keep going in these turbulent times ! Keep safe Doobies !
The Doobie Brothers are not just a good old band, but seriously great musicians who work hard at their craft to keep the music alive.
Damn, those people are having a good time. Wish we could spread this all over the World
I'm sure you are music giants. You mean so much to many. Thank you. I Thank God that I have listened to the music for 50 years. I absolutely love you guys.
Such a classic! I love the addition of the horns!
the horns spoil it.
Horns, YES!!
The brass is authentic The Drums are full and the sounds and smells of live music are real ,just beautiful
I'm 52 yrs old now...I absolutely love seeing fans my age & older singing this song, swaying with the music, eyes closed, & just lost in a time & memory that was long ago...if they're anything like me, they're not far from SWEET TEARS OF YESTERDAY!!!
I am so glad that I got to grow up in the 70s & 80s & experience ALL THE GREAT GREAT MUSIC!!!
I put The Doobie Brothers on the top shelf with Supertramp, Meatloaf, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Foreigner, Cheap Trick, & Styx...just to name a few!!!
I have always said 1976-1984 was the best years of MUSIC in my opinion.
Much love from Mobile Alabama.
1976 TO 1989
So freaking cool to see these guys still performing and the old guys, just like me, singing and dancing in the crowds. Still love these guys, still after 50 years of "listening to the music", their music! Bravo!!!
Thank you for your music The Doobie Brothers!!🥰
I've enjoyed this song for decades. Always enjoyed the Doobie Brothers.
I have always felt that The Doobie Brothers are Pure Musicians. Legends that shape our modern day music and mind you they are still kicking it.. such class!!
Joyful.
They’d be amazing at a festival like Glastonbury.
I have never seen the point of having two drummers, a drummer and a percussionist is a lot more logical. DB always such a great band.
One of the all time Greatest Bands that there ever was or will be ! "ROCK ON GUYS" !
Love your music 🎶 been rocking with you guys since the early 70s .
May GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
The sound guy at that venue (or the one the Doobies brought with them) really delivered an excellent mix...warm, articulate, and sophisticated.
The real music ever, greetings from Chile 2021....i love it
Always loved this song! A real happy “feel good” sing! Great group!
Yes!
This is one of The All-time Greatest Bands ever to be Assembled. I wonder exactly how full the stage would be with Every Doobie Brothers Member that has ever performed with the Band !!!! I Believe That The Doobie Brother's has the most Members, past and present to have Performed for One Bsnd.
That happened in 1987,in a series of benefit concerts, clips you can find on UA-cam.
Saw these guys last night and they KILLED IT. THOUGHT I was back in 1972

This is one of the best songs ever! I see why this group reached a platinum status!
Being a DB fan since 76, I can happily say I still love the way the band asks for the fans to sing along. Makes for greatness.
Classic Rock Perfection then and now !!! Doobie Brothers Rule !!!
I saw them 30 odd years ago and they still sound just as good 😍 I love em, so did my late husband. Im re-living such happy memories watching this. God bless you all 💕
Dios los guarde
Stay strong Jane and listen to the music x
Fantastic. This is how a rock band should age. Superb sound on this.
I grew up in the S.F. Bay area during the 70,s I grew up with the Doobie Brothers. and have saw them live at least 20 times with everyone of the musicians past & present. There music rocks & you just have a constant smile on your face. I listen to there music all the time & just saw them at a private party at the Coeur d' Alene Resort in N. Idaho Your music will live on for ever. Thank all of you for the fun I have at all your venues. They rocked in the early days of Day on the Greens in the Oakland Coliseum. Was so glad to see you inducted into the Music Hall Of Fame. Rick J. Dalton Gardens, Idaho
Bands like this are very rare nowadays. Would love to see these guys live. Awesome talent throughout...
My brother in law's favorite song is China Grove, he's disabled and can't play it himself. He has me play it over and over when I visit him lol.
And I don't mind doing it because I love that song too lol.
Yesssss!!! ROCK ON 🤘🏻 Friends!
