The British royals are rarely represented in other countries, when these things happen. The three Scandinavian royal families are very close with each other, both through family ties but also friendship. I’m guessing that the Belgian and Dutch princesses were there as they are the same age/generation as Christian and therefore future colleagues, the rest of the royals in attendance were all family.
