@@glassonion5474 The New York Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual gala ball, which as @marg233 notes, has become a super-expensive fancy dress party. But then, although everyone at a British coronation should come dressed in their best clothes, there’s more important stuff going on than a fashion parade. The word “fashion” has connotations of frivolity and transience - there’s not much frivolous about the latest expression of a ceremony that’s been taken pretty seriously for over a thousand years.
King of Thailand, King and Queen of Jordan, King Brunei and so many Kings and Queen were there to celebrate King Charles' Coronation. What an exciting moment to watch with my friends . Though watching the ceremony they purposely didnt show the royals during the coronation! The King of Bhutan stood out though sad they kind of hid the Thai Royals! At least have Japan Thailand Bhutan together!
Props to whomever's job it was to assign the seats! Must have been quite the task. Some curious choices here like seating the Queen of Spain next to The King of Thailand. One can only imagine the small conversations going on in all the pews!
It's actually fairly easy to arrange the Royal seating. It's done on seniority, so for reigning monarchs it's on length of reign. With monarchs there aren't the fragile egos and tantrums that you get with so-called celebrities.

What about Queen Victoria ? So tired of people like you ...grow up. Different times.
I feel the same way!
Sorry, It is not a popularity contest as the news media would have you think. The Queen is the wife of a Contitutional Monarch in Great Britain. Look up the Constitution it is older than the French and of the United States by a long way. ( most newsmedia don't know this )
Dejen a la difunta en Paz ya fue...avance.
Don't cry . She's happy in heaven with one of her lovers !!
The only thing I wished was that maybe, somewhere, there could have been the option of knowing who each royal person was from the other countries. Was a cool event to watch!
If you turn on the subtitles, the names are given.
Yeah, the subtitles try Thier best but are still confusing. In the live event some commentary was given and the countries represented were named, even though some names of royals weren't given (at least in the Spanish TV, I don't know about English media now that I think about it)

No mention of African and Asian royalty even though they're clearly in the video. Makes this a stupid and one sided video.

Always my favorites, the Crown Prince, Frederik and his beautiful wife Mary, royals from Denmark, looked stunning and joyful as they always do. They're walking in at 1:02. She's wearing the gorgeous royal purple dress. Simple yet so elegant. They clearly enjoy their roles and each other.
They are a beautiful couple and all of their children are great looking as well. CP has always maintained a youthful look-Mary is beautiful.
The vid will be better, if he puts captions to identify the guests.
Think they work
Interesting fact: the Crown Prince and Princess of Denmark used "Zadok the Priest" as the bridal processional at their wedding in 2004.
Yse wonderful to see them.

I love queen suthida of Thailand she gives respects to other royal and guest…❤❤❤
Thailand's Queen Suthida is so stunning and very beautiful as always as well as Queen Jetsum of Bhutan.... They're both very nice, stunning and beautiful inside and out.
So emotional seeing the King of Sweden and his daughter the crown princess.
Thank you for the detailed coverage of the royal guests! Made my day!
Why would the original music and singing not be used in this video? It was such a beautiful selection, made by the King himself. And the whole congregation singing "God save the King" was so glorious and uplifting. Instead we are listening to the waltzes? Boggles the mind 😳
Perhaps you are right, but as I was listening to this piece I thought it was beautiful and so riveting.
Beethoven
Viennese Waltz and Beethoven's Ode to Joy => Anthem of Europe after Brexit to the coronation of the UK King... that took all the seriousness of that video. such a shame.
Perhaps you should make a video of your own & include the original music. If you do - let me know!

Everyone so beautifully dressed and classy!! The Met Gala could take some pointers.
Most guests dressed tasteless. Like sunday village church. British military dressed great, thats it
As an Aussie I love to see "our" Princess Mary of Denmark. She always looks elegant and beautiful.
Sorry but I am not royal at all.....
She really does. I think she and Catherine set the standard.
I'm British & agree. She certainly put the work in to make sure she fitted into the country as well as the family. She's good news.

Thank you so much ,for the 100% coverage of rhe pre and after Coronation.
Excellent coverage.
All well organised. The ladies all looked lovely in their outfits and and the men in uniform looked amazing.
Nice you included introduction of heads of state, invited royal guests and other important vip's.
I cant imagine the amount and level of security this ceremony had 😂 It was heartwarming for me to see royals from other countries being invited to one's coronation. I love fairytales ❤
Millions pounds (worth more than dollars) charged to the working British taxpayers to support these grifters.
It was like a Disney movie where all the kings and queens come up for special parties and it almost felt like people sat on each side watching a designer runway as everyone’s outfits were an eyefull to watch. You will never get the whole countries of the world represented all at once under one roof apart from coronation.

A very memorable days for KC. I love monarchy, and I come from Republic country, the difference to run the country was so different. Long Live The King!!!

Wonderfull way to get to know other people
It's actually fairly easy to arrange the Royal seating. It's done on seniority, so for reigning monarchs it's on length of reign. With monarchs there aren't the fragile egos and tantrums that you get with so-called celebrities.
How beautiful and solemn ceremony!
