Thanks! I totally missed the shortcut. I kept looking at the top of the control center, where it is in other Android skins.
@@JMTMarc When Xiaomi was still using MIUI, it was located at the top right of the control center
@@JMTMarc in my case the settings toggle wasnt available hence i had to add it in........took a while to get used to coming from other androids
I've moved the settings toggle to the top of the shortcuts so it's easy to access

I got the photography pack and it is great
The whole package is so good! Taking photos is way better now with the photography kit. Super hyped, I preordered the iPhone and snagged it for free.

Definitely the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The camera quality, camera app, and image/video editing features are far superior. Honestly, I gave away the Magic 6 Pro after realizing how good the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is.
Very good detailed first impression so far. I do agree that this phone has the most accurate colour science which dont over saturate or sharpen the images. I am planning to buy it and trade in my samsung S24 ultra. Please do the gaming review as well as that can gives thw idea about its handling cabailities of i tensive tasks. Thanks.

I also have a s24ultra and am selling it now, I am very disappointed in it. Samsung smartphones are terrible in every way. I want to quickly buy Xiaomi 14 ultra. This is the best camera phone today until the Vivo X100 Ultra appears

I did exactly that.. traded the s24u for the Xiaomi .. honestly, I think the Xiaomi is a much better phone. The camera is in a whole different league compared to the glitchy inconsistent mess that is the s24u .. I do miss the screen/display of the s24u, it's incredible... But it's the only thing I miss.

I am a Xiaomi 14 ultra user and I must say that I am affected by the condensation issue. In my case I intentionally left the phone running the cpu throttling apk for 7-10 min and then placed the camera lens on a cold surface. I also have an Oppo find x7 ultra and the same thing happens to it. Both phones with condensation on all 4 cameras, it's not a joke, just force the situation. I don't think this problem would occur to me in a normal situation.
I tried the same thing yesterday with my other phones. Putting something cold on the lens makes it fog up. Nowadays, I barely get any fog when I use it like usual. But, I know some folks who end up with their lenses all fogged up even when they're just doing normal stuff with their phones, especially when it's kinda chilly out, like between 5 and 10°C. That's for sure not supposed to happen.
Setting is in notification.. even in your video the setting icon iw bottom left.
Also about widget yes... It is pain but you dont need ALWAYS to mess around with widget anyway.. you do it once abd thats it.
I found the settings icon. Thanks for pointing that out. Regarding widgets: True, but it depends, there a people who likle to change theo honscreen configutation mor often. Also: There is just no reason to make it that cumbersome. Every other OS does it better.
I have git😢mine yesterday but sadly my device suffers from condesation by the main camera lense as soon as I used it outdoors. Do you have a solution for this? 😢
A lot of buyers have the problem. Some reported that recording 8K for prolonged period of time with an ejected sim card tray or placing the phone in a closed container with silica bags helped...

I prefer and would choose Xiaomi. The camera's image quality and features are superior, in my opinion. I particularly value macro and portrait capabilities, areas where Xiaomi especially excels.
Is there a link to your wallpaper/ home screen theme?
This is Xiaomis Super Wallpaper. This can be installed as a separate app. Just google "Super Wallpaper Android" and you will find some instructions.
Are you facing the rattling issue with the main camera caused by freely moving back and forth? It sounds horrible when you hold the phone and twisting your hand but IF you are in the camera app, nothing is heard and the issue is fully resolved. Is is just me or is this a common issue caused by a firmware update perhaps?
That's normal. It's the optical image stabilization. When the camera is not on, the lenses will rattle. As the sensor is quite big compared to other phones, the lenses need to bigger and will also rattle more.
which do you prefer or would recommend, the Xiaomi 14 ultra or the Vivo x100 pro?
Hard to say, I never tried the Vivo X100 Pro.
Have many Problems with Push notifications in Always on Display. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Please help. Thanks
Hard to say why. I don't notice any problems. Perhaps any wrong settings in notifications setting?
How would you compare the OnePlus 12 with this Xiaomi 14 Ultra?
I didn't use the Oneplus 12, but from what I heard it's a great phone with a very competitive price.
I had the xiaomi 14, and it had horrible sealing, the camera lens would always fog up and the only way to remove the moisture was to leave the sim tray open... Also hyperos kept bombarding me with adverts.... Its a hard pass on anything xiaomi from now on.
It appears that lens fogging is indeed a significant issue. While my unit doesn't have the problem anymore, many others are still grappling with it. Additionally, the bloatware of adverts and bloatware is truly horrible. Fortunately, I've successfully disabled the majority of them.
How is it compared to Vivo X100 Pro?
I don't have the X100 Pro yet, but once I get it, I'll definitely do a comparison.

When it comes to the camera, the 14 Ultra is much better imho. As for everything else, they're pretty much on the same level. But yeah, the M6P's battery life is way better.

other 0hones night time photos are so bright looks like day time
but xiaomi photos night photos looks like it shot in night they doesn't bright heavily
I agree. I don't like it at all when night photos are artificially brightened too much or when the sky is overly processed.
Fog problem with the main camera?
I had the 14 and it had the fog problem, i had to leave the SIM tray open to remove the fog... And also hyper os kept bombarding me with adverts.
It's a real issue and Xiaomi should adress it. It's harming the reputation of the brand.

Look online: It even happens at modest temperatures, like 8 ⁰C.

Indeed, the issue has been diminishing with my unit, fortunately. I believe it was due to some adhesive that hadn't fully cured. This theory was also supported by discussions in the Xiaomi Community.
I firmly hold the belief that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra stands out as the most versatile and well-rounded smartphone of the year.
