Whiskey. My dad says a shot of whiskey will “fix your right up”. The first time he dropped a pint off to me because I was so sick I thought he’d cry for corrupting his baby but got over that real quick when I told him it worked!! Bless his God fearing heart!
Hahaha hahaha! At the 2:50 mark, when you threw the shucks and silks to the goats, I burst out laughing because it was like they were choreographed to smell and turn away, smell and turn away.. 😂 It's good to see both Grandmas there at the same time. I hope Wyatt and Raelyn know what they have. ☮️💖🙏🇺🇸🇮🇱🇺🇦✝️✌️

Grew up in central Ky. Mom always made us hot toddys in the winter to help with colds and flu. My grown children still call and ask for my recipe when they are feeling under the weather. Bourbon, fresh lemon juice, honey and water super hot! If it wasn't July I'd have one tonight myself!
I have a coop and a run for my chickens just because of that fact, of them hiding their eggs in the underbrush in the woods, and all over the blessed place, which in turn attracted other things to the homestead, like racoons, rats, and possums! So now they only get to free range starting after 3pm, earlier if I collect the eggs and I see that they have all layed, then I'll let them out! Funny thing is, now they have learned that if they get their egg laying done early, I'll let them out earlier! LOL! Now, they usually have their eggs layed way before 2 pm! And they say that chickens aren't smart! Sometimes I wonder!
First off, Happy Birthday Zach! 🎂 Hope you are better on your day of celebration.🙂 I also want to take a second to thank you for sharing all your blessings with us. Y'all are beautiful people!💕 Your smiles are soo very contagious!!😊 Much love!💗

Thanks for another great video. You all have a really nice homestead. Congratulations on such success. Jen is amazing in the kitchen. I purchased her cookbook. Yummy recipes in there. Deep fried deviled eggs………oh my gosh delicious!
Hi there Stiver family, wow are you busy, glad you have your cute little corn shuckers helping out. Beautiful to see your dreams of a family farm being shared with your loved ones. 🕊💕
You can also powder your zucchini & add it to your breads, cakes, cookies, casseroles, make dips, etc. Same with tomatoes, cucumbers, onion greens, cabbage....
I was thinking you could get another shed and turn it into a farm kitchen for all the produce and processing for the store, that way your not tracking it through your personal kitchen...
When you started feeding the animals I almost wanted to cry. Very wholesome. No nasty politicians no overnight shooting breaking news no protesting in the streets no crazy celebrities...👶🌼🏵️💮🌻🌿🌾🌵🌴🌲🪵❄️♥️
I haven’t had many dreams in my life. At 57, Hubs and I now dream of starlit skies and quiet. Our Farmstead dream just got pushed back by a year so disappointed! But we’re not giving up!
Since you like my comments I'll add one more a produce wash station before bringing it into the kitchen,,, simple frame open counter like your shelf in your greenhouse a garden hose and cheap sink drained openly..
We moved from KS to Oklahoma after COVID to be closer to family. There is a rescue, broken down vehicle, going on right now! Exactly why we moved! You are so right about a village!
Love all of you, how blessed are you to be on a homestead and have the 2 grandmothers with you. I am a grandma older than yours that homesteaded years ago and homeschooled my two. Both got college and university degrees. I also had my Mother with us for a number of years to help the Father left when children were 4 and 7. I studied nutrition for over 48 years, still do. And the Catholic Faith just as long. But today I want to give you a recipe that you can make and sell that will cure all viruses and bacterial, microbial, fungal infections. I got this from 2 different doctors books not as I give you but each had part of the recipe. Can use on small children and adults and pets. -One Bulb of garlic peeled, finely chopped and left open to air for at least 12 minutes to activate the Allicin. -one piece of fresh ginger root the same size. Peeled and chopped finely. -Now add to a pint jar of must be(raw unpasteurized liquid honey). Stir very well together until well blended. Now using a clean spoon every time you go to use it, stir very well and as an adult take 1 tablespoon if you go out and might be exposed to a virus as a preventive. Chew the chopped things. If sick take 1 Tbsp every 6 hours. One woman took just ginger and the unpasteurized honey every 6 hours and cured 4th stage cancer. She was interviewed on Cancer Defeated some years ago. To children of the age of yours they can take full dose. For younger infants, mix it well first and give only the honey part. Maybe a teaspoon. It will not do them any harm . A Doctor Who practiced in Vermont says. Now I want people to know that Jesus and Mary are warning us of the coming chastisement they are on You tube almost daily. All will have to be Catholic in state of Grace to be saved. Jesus said you have no life in you unless you eat his Body and Blood. See John 6:54 Found only in His Catholic Church . He has told us all other denominations were founded by sinful men. We are about to get The Warning . google it. See this video and pray for yourself and all to be saved. ua-cam.com/video/wfX69gvGNrw/v-deo.html
Thank you for this recipe approval information… I live in Mississippi and I am in the process of buying a my first home/farm of my own and Mississippi is a state of its own in EVERYTHING they stop you in way possible to not allow you to make money but I definitely didn’t know about this cottage food law information so thank you for that now I have another battle under my belt to fight about this state about!!! God moved me here and I didn’t know why but last six months I come to realize now what I’m called to do and why…This state is a hot mess in so many ways but God will change that soon and I will open the doors of freedom and change for the people of this state and other farmers. God is about to do great and mighty things in America that will blow peoples minds. In the mean time I’m glad to know about this situation so I can start this battle….Thanks God Bless
Just an idea if you want to pay off your beautiful holiday home on wheels. You could rent it out as a weekend or week package for a couple to learn hands on homesteading. People would be happy to invest a couple of grand up front before jumping in to full time homesteading. They could learn how animal husbandry, harvesting, webpage creation, food preservation, herbal medicine. Equipment management and various county legislations to sell produce etc. You would have it paid off free and clear in a year. 👍🏼
Oh yes the whiteboard is a great addition, you'll wonder how you did without it. And I'm sorry, I know you are sick but I had to laugh at the faces you were making after taking your "shot"! Hope all you guys get to feeling better.
Zach and Jenn you are truly blessed to have family around to help out !! Awesome garden Harvest, so far . Thanks for always sharing your knowledge with us. Stay happy, healthy, hydrated and safe. May God continue to bless you, your family and your adventures.
A couple corn on the cob hacks. Place your un shucked corn in a cooler & close the valve. Pour boiling water over corn & close for 20min. No chances of burning yourself. When you shuck it ALL the silks come off at once with outside. & The corn stays hot till you eat! For buttering: take a slice of bread (the crust is best) put butter on it & roll the cob on the butter. Dry non greasy hands.
When slicing and freeze drying squash or cucumbers, you could hit with some ranch powder or italian seasonings and then just use to snack on. I saw another channel do this , so if the crop goes nuts here's another thought for you. Jen did say it was like a chip. Love from Kansas

I really love watching you guys, it feels like you are living my dream and it brings me all kinds of joy to watch your videos. I grew up and was raised between living in Ohio, Michigan, and Tennessee, but ended up out in the middle of the desert in California where I met my husband of 37 years, and where we raised our three boys. I wanted to live as one big family unit and live a self-sufficient lifestyle. Unfortunately due to life circumstances my dream never happened and my age is starting to catch up on me now. Oh, don't get me wrong, I am stubborn and haven't altogether given up. so I still garden and preserve and prep as much as I can for long-term sufficiency, and I am bound and determined to have chickens someday.
