Huawei and SMIC in Trouble, As DUV Equipment performs below expectations

For the past three years smic and Huawei have being relaying on the use of DUV (Deep UltraViolet) machines purchased before SMIC and Huawei were placed under the us sanction to manufacture AI chipsets such as the Ascend 910B chipset .
Because this technology is many generations behind when compared with (Extreme Ultraviolet machines being used by rivals such as Samsung, TSMC,
one of the key challenge here has always being the fact that , the yield rate turns to be low and this process seems to be and quite expensive

however, Huawei and SMIC have been able to use this process for the past few years successfully but currently latest update suggest , SMIC and Huawei are facing some challenges with the use of DUV (Deep Ultraviolet) machines for the mass production of the Ascend 910B AI chip which could affect tech firms such as Alibaba and Baidu
Rumor suggest that SMIC is having poor Ascend 910B AI chip production, With the yield rate at SMIC foundry falling drastically,
it is believe that yield rate has fallen to as low as 20% rate, in other word out of every 5 chips manufactured four out of the five turns to have defect.

According to an update, SMIC is currently having some challenge with their chip yields, with regards to even the 5nm chip you were talking about, I equally stated that in the commentary
