This for me, was the most emotional part of the past 10days. The Royal Navy leading, actually pulling our Queen, to the sound of bagpipes & drummers. Beautiful.

The tradition of Navy sailors pulling the gun carriage began at the funeral of Queen Victoria. The carriage carrying the coffin was meant to be pulled by horses, however, they reared up and threatened to topple the coffin. Instead of taking the risk, it was decided that the Navy sailors would pull the gun carriage instead. This tradition has carried on over the years and many royal funerals, including Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral today.

I think the pall bearers deserve special recognition for their flawless performance. I held my breath as I watched these young men dutifully carrying the Queen's lead lined oak coffin. They should all receive a special commendation for their final service to Her Majesty. They were perfect.

They probably also put the coffin onto the previous carriage (horse drawn) from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall days ago.
Then seen here out of Westminster Hall and onto this gun carriage, off it on arriving at the funeral service at Westminster Abbey, back on it for the procession to Hyde Park Corner, transfering there to a hearse (car) for the journey to Windsor, then finally up the fairly steep steps of St George's Chapel (big for a Chapel) and inside to be committed.
I think it was all done by the same bearer party.
Apparently five of them were serving in Iraq when the Queen died. All of them were amazing

The greatness of the UK is on full display for the world to see. The Respect being displayed by the British public is exemplary. The monarchy is the last bastion of tradition, honor, dignity, and selfless service that makes the UK truly special from the rest of the world. My uncle, born in Nova Scotia, joined the Grenadier Guards at the start of WWII. He was captured and spent 8 months as a prisoner of war before the war ended. He resided in Wales until his death in the 1980’s❤

The music with the bagpipes and drums was so incredibly moving. I think it's the most beautiful I've ever heard. I believe the Queen would be well pleased with everything. People should also see the procession after the funeral service taking the Queen away from the Abbey onwards to Hyde Park Corner, before driving away to Windsor.
The procession to Hyde Park, by which the Queen passed Buckingham Palace for the final time, was lead by 4 Canadian Mounties and was over a mile long (the route was longer still obviously).
The Royal Navy pulled her by foot on this same gun carriage the whole way.
I watched the funeral procession pass me on Constitution Hill, next to Buckingham Palace, after the service. It felt very real, somber, emotional and powerful as Her Majesty passed out of London, never to return.
She was Queen when I was born in 1967... She was Queen when I finished school... She was Queen when I left England... She was Queen when my mum died 1 year earlier... 2 women I lost in 2 years that were a part of my life... R.I.P both of you... 😥🙏😥
The whole day was immaculately performed and so impressive.
Did anyone notice a slight hitch when the cortege set off from Westminster Hall, going to Westminster Abbey?
The commanding officer gave the command to slow march at 2:34 but he appeared to utter an extra word before the final command, which confused the naval ratings.
He seems to say..."By the centre...slow..ama..march". But many of the troops started to move on the strange "ama" utterance.
Others hesitated and started their first step on the officer's firm command of "March".
But what was he trying to say between "Slow" and "March"?!
Looking at 3:15 and at 3:50 , many ratings are out of step with their colleagues, especially in the ranks to the rear of the gun carriage.
After that, they seemed to sort themselves out, but I hope the "culprits" were not reprimanded later, because the officer's wayward command was definitely to blame for the slightly dishevelled start to this section of the march.
Surely the troops had previously rehearsed with this particular officer, so they could have got to know his "foibles" and waited another second for his definite "March"! So maybe they were not used to him.
The officer's slightly confusing command to "March" is heard more clearly on other channels, such as the BBC.
Since Elizabeth II died, there has been much publicity, not so much thought about why she matters, and why monarchy is helpful in general. Monarchy shouldn't be used as real-life soap opera, nor as mere material to fill space in the media.
The achievement of the British monarchy should become clearer in comparison with the histories of other countries. In the 19th & 20th centuries the U.S.A, France, Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain and Greece suffered in various ways civil wars, political storms, and dictatorships. This shows what can go wrong in the absence of a head of state which is above politics, and which opposes illegal dictatorship. What an amazing planning and the whole choreography was awesome! It would have been great if the organizers would have hired a group of so called “PLAÑIDERAS” from Jamaica, Cuba or Colombia: these are group of women whose job is to attend funerals where they engage in sort of hysterical crying! That would have been fantastic! I particularly liked the colorful uniforms and the turkey like wigs. Some of the Royal pageantry was so beautiful and colorful: as I was watching the whole event my 7-year-old daughter asked me if it was already Halloween celebration!

Does anyone know the title of the music played by the bagpipers in this segment? It’s the most beautiful piece I’ve ever heard. Please help!
There were two tunes played: Mist Covered Mountains, and Mountain of Mull. The pipes start playing Mist Covered Mountains, then transitions to Mull at 4:28. The pipes then transition seamlessly between both tunes as the procession moves. If you didn't know the difference between the two tunes, you'd think only one tune was being played the transitions are seamless.
All these young men and women would die for us in a heartbeat, being ex royal marine soldier we now live in a very dangerous world, one false move by China or Russia and these young guys are heading for World War 3,i feel for them, God bless my American comrades and UK friends fallen and living.. X

BBC announced that there would be very little commentary during the funeral out of respect for our Queen. Perhaps CNN could do with a tutorial or three.

Ughhhhh so much commentary when all I wanted to do was listen....
BBC's broadcast was so much better - no talking and the shots and sound was amazing. I went back to watch this part again, and it appears they've taken their entire program down. I actually watched their entire broadcast of the funeral and it was perfect. If you can find it, I highly recommend. I feel like Anderson Cooper tried to get them to be quiet and listen, but they couldn't help themselves.

The guy talking over the start of the pipes/procession is disgraceful as are the adverts.
In the UK the live tv coverage on commercial stations had no adverts during all the proceedings (BBC tv never does have adverts.) On commercial stations, not showing the funeral, showed no adverts all day. A sign was shown in the gap where the adverts were normally saying: out of respect for The Queen no adverts will be shown. In the US nothing can get in the way of making the almighty dollar, even during a funeral.
