This series is so good.
Folks like myself who don't even dig motorcycles, are drawn in.
Week, after week.
Always my first click.
Can't wait for the next one.
You had the childhood dream, in real life! Love that knuck.
What a beast! That front brake is slick. Can I get a job doing burn-outs in the museum?
There would possibly be a long line for that experience 😉
A simple thumbs up does not do this justice. This is the SICKEST channel on UA-cam. How there are only 50K subs is beyond me????
Everytime I think Matt can't possibly out do the last bike, he smiles and sinply says, " hold my beer ".
I had the very same thought
Matt, you are doing your dad "PROUD" he will be missed by all of us in the bike world, I did meet your dad years ago while in NC. great place there !! Carry on..
Love the Dale's wheels through time shirt. Got the perfect old timey look that suits Dales collection
I was there today and had a blast love the feeling u get in that museum and such wonderful bikes to observe. Thanx so much for all ur doing for the motorcycle community
That front brake is some slick shit.
Pretty nice Matt
I rode a 49 74inch Pan that I built in 1988 from a basket, plus a pile of other swap meet parts. I ran Wiseco 10.5 :1 pistons, Andrews "B" grind cam, Kiehn carb off an Iron head and a 12 volt generator. It was a running SOB. Rode that bike for 15 years until some jackass in a cage ran over me and busted the cases. Then I put my top end on a Nose cone bottom end that I borrowed from a friend, rode that for a couple of years until I built a Shovelhead bike out of the borrowed bottom end for the friend that loaned me the parts. So many things you can do with the old stuff. I miss those days.....................
“One of the coolest parts on this bike, check it out Steve...” I love that he makes these videos just for me! 🤣
Damn, and here I thought he was talking just to me.
Keep it up brother...your dad really did something special...kids now a day's really need this...✌
Thankyou so much for your Commitment to Preserving these Old Girls , I Really enjoy watching Everything you put on Show for us All Mate . Ha Ha if the Showroom didn't have a chicain halfway through the display's I know you would just like to Slip her up into 3rd Gear .😄
Glad the museum is back open, can't wait to get back over there this year.
Very Cool Bike. Very interesting front brake. Way ahead of it`s time. Great vid. Thx.
That bikes awesome!.....your a lucky man Matt
Indeed...great memories with your Dad....must be very special memory.....plus great bike...lots of fun!!!
Sweet old "hotrod"!! Love it Matt!!
Probably the best sound yet. Would love to hear that thing at full song on the open road.😜
I went to wheels through time 2 weeks ago. It’s an incredible place. The artwork, the setup, the traub. If you go for the tail of the dragon, you gotta make this place a stop. You can spend a whole day there, easy.
Great post Matt. That Knuckle is a beauty. Watching you do a burnout reminds me of a time in the Sixties when my 2 younger brothers and I were just in our early teens and our Dad and us were invited to the back of Al Klatt HD Sales in Edmonton Alberta. Al proceeded to fire up a WR ; stuffed it in gear and did a figure 8 burnout on the concrete floor. It was very skillfully done but was no surprise. Al Klatt had had his own stunt show at County Fairs all over the States and he had given my Dad old show brochures. Which I knew what happened to those.
Wow what beautiful pieces of history. I'm so glad you have these bikes and there running. They've put a nice smile on my face.
That bike was amazing!! Thanks for the video.
WOW....That bike has a super sweet sound....Thanks...!
I visited This Place several years ago it is amazing.
That taillight is awesome ! 👍
I started wrenching with my dad at about 3 yrs old. He'd buy army surplus jeeps and fix them up and sell them. It was about 1957. Interesting how someone from a completely different race and culture can have very similar experiences.
Glad I got a chance to thank you in person at Oley Wed Nite for the fine work you're doing. One hot Knuckle here. Some day I'd love to find out more about the Yellow 80 flathead, BTSV's are my favorite.
Matt I think your Pops was as cool as they come. Gorgeous bike!
another kickass Harley, sounds n looks great
My absolute DREAM RIDE!! 👊
Very nice setup, can I come do a few burnouts? My friends and me are trying to make plans to see your place. It's great to see you are carrying on the family tradition.
Is it Toby Keith who sings Made in America ? If so wouldn't a concert by him at WHEELS THROUGH TIME by a GREAT tribute to AMERICAN'S 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Love the bike and the museum , hope to visit again , once in Illinois and once in Maggie Valley
Matt you and Dale built it and it has so much of you both in it.That history will always live on.😊
Everyday is a school day!, never heard of a “Magdraulic” brake before, now I know how to make my old James Captain stop! 😂
These entertaining and informative videos are worth paying to watch. Let's all buy raffle tickets to keep this outstanding museum in operation. They are not expensive and you can also add on a donation. Even cheapskate me did.
Cool stuff 👍
The first time my wife and I made it to the museum. Dale was doing burnouts on a Thor in the building.
I dig that bike. I wonder if it would draw a lot of buyers as a raffle bike.
Love that sound
Harley needs to go with the 18" wheels front and back plus the tall fat rubber. Looks good and has a good contact patch on the road and they ride nice.
Awesome... can't wait to visit in July
Amazing place , amazing people ..
👍👊🇺🇸
thats it im fixing an electric magneto front brake and 2nd carb on my 2 stroke 100cc yamaha!!
double whaammyy!!
Cool bike. Needs to star in some movie. Maybe a remake of The Wild One.
Great stuff, keep it going!
MATT that bike is so badass ! I want one
I love that place.
Check out our new merch at wheelsthroughtime.com/gift-shop/
Thanks Matt I love the passion and knowledge You and Your late Father have for the the bikes
Great job Matt !!!
I remember watching Dale do burn-outs. Keep up the legacy!
Awesome, awesome bike. Love the channel 👍
Evey episode is a winner..good stuff
Sweet ride👍
Think it would still run good geting the carb inlets facing back or front,90 degre curve to avoid the pants.
Such a nice bike.
Nice Motorcycle...! Good period build.
Love yalls content im working on a cb750 sohc chopper
That is a cool ride
I have a feeling that when pops was around he wouldn't let you do burnouts in the shop so you're making up for lost time but you know in your heart of hearts he would have done it 2
Lol nah i can’t imagine dale would’ve stressed over some rubber on the floor.
They had plenty of tire marks even at the old location.
👍nice knuckle head build
Sweet bike brother
Luv it!
that exhaust note!!!! I just came.
Very Nice
Hell yeah!
Crazy that bikes worth more than a brand new one
That is one cool bike.
Pretty amazing bike, can you tell more details about front electric break
Awesome dual carb bike
Get some!
RIP Dale
Nice old bike 👍
Nice burn out's!
Yeah, two carbs make all the difference.
Sounds like it's running on one cylinder.
Despite my advising against it, a friend of mine put a dual throat S&S carb on a stock 80" shovel.
No matter how the carb was jetted or the engine tuned, the pipes glowed red at night, and both heads were destroyed in no time.
I've seen people ruin good engines by making "performance" modifications, while I've been running a stock 74 inch shovel for the past 35+ years with no major engine trouble.
I don't know.
Maybe I'm an idiot, but I'm an idiot with a lot less problems.
Awesome bike! Shirt is just as awesome. How do I get one (shirt)?
All it needs is a seat mounted to the frame
Sweet scooter.
You got to cut down a trumpet and fabricate a brass air intake to round up that beauty beast....
Matt's living room is probably linoleum with skid marks.
👍♥️💯 Awesome 🙏🙏🙏
Bad ass
What type of front tire is that?
Are those 'hot rod' heads modified, or specially cast for the dual carb setup?
If you look at the shots where the drive side of the motor is visible, you can see that there appears to be a large welded area where the inlet tract "turns the corner". It would be hard to do it any other way in the limited space available.
@@webtoedman Ah, ok, i will look at the video on a bigger screen - phones are too small to see that sort of detail.
When he talks about modified machines, it would be really interesting to know how it was done, and how good the result was.
Got any dual carb Panheads?
🤘🍻 🤘😎
Sure woulda been cool to hear it idle....
Matt, which bike is your favorite bike? LOL
You look in the dictionary under Bitch’n Bike and there is a picture of that bike!
Curious why no old bikes had air filters???
The filters were either very large or very restrictive. Didn’t really have the tech back then for high flow filters that still filtered good without being huge.
Well the 500 needs to turn head around so can put turbos on it and run the dual exhaust down hard so don't burn the balls when fire is shooting out well hemisphere head any crocker 500s with single cylinder because 4 valve and and where is nos and temp gage propane runs cold
I bet it’s quick
Bitchin bike!
☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️
Electric front brake no patent necessary
I want to be buried here
Intentionally burning the tread off your tire is the stupidest thing I have ever seen bikers do . #1 you destroy your tire , #2 the smoke you create is toxic to breathe . Dumb thing to do , both ways , just so some fool thinks your'e cool .
Yes. How dare someone have fun with their bike.
