What I find most interesting about Bryan is the seemingly large disconnect between his public reputation vs everyone who follows him. In the media and the average lay person thinks his ideas are “wacko”, but truly following him he’s a genuine, humble guy who just wants to share his journey. Couldn’t think of a better guy to do it honestly
At same its pure business, marketing and products involved - and not that unique discoveries that its seems. There are people doing things outside the spotlight which can be considered more honest and genuine that helps science and other beings. Not influencers that want to be stars alone.
The most powerful skin care protocol for starters? Stop the damage. Once that’s done you can level up step by step with routine skin care and treatments.
If you had more perfect body fat, your skin would look much younger. Body fat replenishes tissue. You probably have 5% body fat. With 10% body fat you're looking at 18 😅
I totally feel him on the pale skin thing. I am always attacked for not tanning but it causes wrinkles and cancer and frankly it is so rude that people feel comfortable telling others their skin is too white
@@Randarrradara That's what you think because the media has brainwashed you to think that way. In a lot of Asian countries people want to be white as snow, and those countries have far lower skin cancer rates.
When I first heard about you I thought you are just a crazy rich dude trying to extend his life as much as possible. I still think that BUT I come back regularly to actually see what someone with available resources does to combat aging. Keep going! The experience you share has a huge value.
I used to work in the beauty industry, and I can confirm no skin cream or serum can penetrate deep enough into the layers of the skin to make that much difference, the epidermal layers need to be "reprogrammed" with peels, LED therapy and botox or face lifts. Bryan is correct here with his approach to skin protection and ageing if there's damage done. However, wearing a minimum Spf 30 sunscreen all year round, even indoors near windows etc, but allow some low risk sun in the evening to your body for vit D. That's the single most important thing you can do for your face for anti ageing. Retinol helps speed up skin renewal, as will a good glycolic or bakuchiol, the latter better on sensitive skin, but use these at night and have a skip day. Cleanse all sun product off in the evening, and use a good moisturiser, you don't need to spend lots of money, Ceravive is fine or QandA or the Ordinary. Use an alcohol free toner as well. A gel one for oily skin, a richer one for dry. Eat lots of food with anti oxidants like fruit and veg, and take plenty oils like Hemp, Flaxseed for Omega 3/6 fatty acids, and massage your face with oils and a face roller regularly. I used sunscreen as a child and teenager, ate well and avoided smoking and excessive alcohol and at 49 I still have a roundish youngish face, no procedures, hardly any lines and little sun damage.
I have sensitive skin, and I have finally found what works. Basically I wear no makeup,I use korean sunscreen, and cleanse with cold cream.I apply Vichy probiotic serum and cerave pm. When I tried activities recommended by youtube derms my skin was constantly inflamed. I tried every protocal for sensitive skin. What I have learned is that if you don't damage your skin barrier, your skin has its own intrinsic factors. My skin looks at least 5 years younger from trying this. I also take a beta carotene supplement.
I'm on my weightloss journey but now Bryan got me looking into healthy skin as well. I've lost 70 lbs from 230 lbs. No loose skin but I'm now working to tighten my skin. I'll see if i can achieve this by end of 2024.
@@soigualdo Avoid the common error of prioritizing subcutaneous fat loss over visceral fat. If you're overweight, skip intense gym sessions and cardio to prevent rapid weight loss that exceeds your skin's adaptability. Support skin elasticity by supplementing with collagen and consuming ample vitamin C. Maintain a caloric deficit through controlled eating, daily walks, hydration, and sufficient sleep. Consider water fasting for visceral fat reduction, but practice patience-allow your body time to naturally tighten the skin.
I've been watching a lot of your content recently because of your really interesting insights and philosophy. I have to say that the editing of these videos is on point. Whoever is editing these has a great sense of humor, and you yourself never take yourself too seriously either. Great energy!
tbf, the reason they are in the graveyard is not bc they don't work. he selected them based on a team of researchers agreeing they are good products. he rejected them bc they don't hit his biomarkers. his goal is to reverse sun damage and also add collogen to his face. he said topical creams do not provide some benefits he needs so maybe the video will not be as useful for us, the general consumer. :)
Your face looks so much better than a year ago - much fuller and younger looking. Biomarkers aside, you just look a lot more normal and healthy rather than gaunt and scary (with all due respect) so I'd say your protocol is working very well. The takeaway I got from this is thinner face features doesn't translate to younger looking and it's best to maintain some facial fat. I also appreciate your self-deprecating humor about being a vampire and your honest assessment of previous look vs now. Keep up the great work, Bryan!
YES we grew up with no skincare, no sunscreen, tanning beds and washed our faces with Dial. IPL has been the only thing that's helped. Thanks for sharing your journey and all the information you've gained.
Being a scientist, I love this evidence-based approach. I, too, have UV films on my windows at home. Prevention is the key, and diet directly correlates to improved skin and recovery. One point not covered: exercise (and sleep, of course) makes a marked and visible contribution to skin quality.
As you are a scientist can I ask you if those smaller cheaper LED light devices could make sense and work or it is scam? I wanna buy that Led light therapy thing, those masks that make people look like a scary robot but I am not sure if its just a trend or if it could actually work. I would appreciate your opinion thanks!
@@RottenSprinklz yes but he is not using a small face mask , he is using a very expensive and potent huge machine. My question is if the small face devices are the same

Depends on area where you love and type of skin you have. Example..my skin has natural resistance to sun and it never gets very dark, keeping only peach colour after sun baths. However, it doesn't get dry or damaged after sun bathing, opposite, it flows, it become smooth, the wrinkles get smaller, some goes away. I do not have sun bathing as an everyday routine, for sure, from time to time at the seaside makes it younger. And opposite, my husband has quite dark skin if he enjoys sun bathing, fast and long dark colour, but, for him sun does opposite. His skin gets wrinkled and dry. I used to see that difference in many people, in my opinion some research shall be conducted to figure out if sun is damaging all types of skin, how long can a person with this or that skin be outside, where, in which region, sun is mild or soft, where its unpleasant (rememebr that there are 3zones with red marker: solar and space radiation with small air layers protectiin, such as Brazil and Canada, Siberia). When we know that we can talk about 100% sun damage and necessity to protect. There are benefits of sun bathing as well. Regarding, sun screams, it's enough data to be not that confident in such products due to side effects, that a one shall know clearly before starting to use it on a regular basis. Regarding Brian and his skin. He holds red head gens and skin of such people is very sensitive, they may have freckles, they may get sun burns fast, they may get wrinkles earlier due to sun exposure. Such people are recommended to limit time under sun and wear covering cloth..my mother is red head and that's clearly known in my family..I inherited another line gens and also grew up in the far east north where body used adjust for quite radioactive sun. We are lacking data here for the clear advice to everyone for the same protocol..in my opinion. Women get wrinkles when the eggs function starts to reduce, hormones change and body looses ability to source skin from inside. However, here, the type of skin is important (thick, sensitive, heavy, light etc), face geometry (will the skin sage on eyes due to the small distance between eyes and eyebrows etc) and body type condition (people with extra weight may have heavier sagging and faster older look in their 40s)... And yes, I am 40.
Keep going with it. Am 54, starting wearing sunblock every single day rain or shine and I have very little skin damage. I also look significantly younger than my age. I also use tretinoin, copper peptides, niacinomides, Vitamin C creams, hyaluronic acid, and moisturizer. Prevention is important. But, a tip. Use it on any areas of sun exposure. I use it on my face and neck, but I didn't use it on my arms and even just from sitting in the car to and from work that part of my skin is really damaged. Now I use it on my arms, but I'm kicking myself I didn't include my arms and hands.
@@Timesobserver_Xenia What might seem like healthy skin can look worse under one of those zombie cameras as seen in the video. The sun can be good in some ways but you can achieve similar benefits artificially such as the disinfection from the UV rays or the exfoliation, vitamin D etc. without the damage from the sun’s radiation which is essentially breaking down the DNA in your skin cells and causing pigmentation and elasticity problems and damage that isn’t always visible (especially not at first but will show down the line in your 50s and 60s) so if you avoid that as much as possible then you will have younger skin.

Surprised he didn't mention tretinoin which is mentioned in his website protocol. Definitely the single best thing for skin outside of SPF. Also didn't mention much more about the accutane which and its effects on the liver etc. Definitely not a drug that is intended for long term supplementation.
He is microdosing accutane, which is a strategy that some dermatologists recommend for acne treatment with much minor side effects than a traditional accutane protocol. I believe microdose accutane is also being looked at for its collagen promotion and antiaging effect. You still get liver labs done when on microdosed accutane, since the risks are lower but still there. I’m sure he’s getting tons of tests to document the effects the accutane is having on him.

Watching this tutorial on grooming feels like a step-by-step guide to Patrick Bateman's morning routine. Can't decide if I'm here for the skincare tips or the killer confidence. Pun intended.
“Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturiser, then an anti-ageing eye balm followed by a final moisturising protective lotion.” - Pat Bateman

I personaly use this: Topicaly: 1. Cleaning gel with aloe vere 2. Lotion with salicilic acid 3. Rose water 4. CBD oil 5. Adapalene (only in the evening) Per os: 1. Milk thistle (aka Silimarin) → As far as I know its hepatoprotective (silibidine), hypolipidemic (isosilibidine), anti diabetic (silichristine), antioxidant (silidianine), and neuro/cardioprotective (taxifoline) 2. Green tea 3. Kiwi, carrot, tomatoes and other fruits/vegetables containing antioxidants and fiber
@afroditi5845 I use tretinoin about 3x per week. I let it sit for a few hours and then finger paint Adipeau on top (you don't rub it in). The other times I just use Adipeau. I hope Bryan gives it a fair trial. I couldn't do without it now.
@afroditi5845 I think after two weeks but true difference after one bottle which I have to say lasts me a few months. No need to use on forehead. I just apply to from eyes, centre cheeks and lip area.

Can you please test out Volufiline for adding volume to face? It is a natural plant extract that is supposed to increase fat cells. Dilute with carrier oil. Can you let us know-has Sculptra or fat injections helped most with volume for you?
A lot of people in their mid to late 40s look naturally young if they have good genetics. Some of the professors in my college in Germany looked at least 10-15 years younger than their real age. They have flawless shiny skin and healthy hair. I think the real challenge is to keep up with the age after 50 and for some people after 60. Rarely do you see a 60+ year-old with nice skin and healthy hair.
True. I’m 50 but get mistaken for 30-something. But my late mother was 81 & looked 50 when she passed. It was said that when HER grandmother passed, the coroner commented that she had the body of a young girl. (She was actually 90.) My older sis is 64 but also looks very young.
I really suggest you stop accutane. I took it for 3 months in 2018 and while it got rid of cystic acting for the first year it in the immediacy gave me depression, General anxiety disorder, and no motivation, and on the long term created side affects which I am just now attributing to accutane to include dry eyes creating blurred vision, dry skin and scalp, joint weakness to include the Knees and Jaw which has induced bruxism and an overbite.
considering all the protocols and markers he is doing i dont think its gonna make any damage. if it did his doctors would probably discontinue it. also considering the low dose i dont think its going to do any harm. accutane is a perfectly safe drug especially if you're in a controlled environment like he is. it also has some anti skin cancer properties which is also good
I'm pro Accutane. I had SEVERE acne as a youth and in my early 20's. I took Accutane for 4 months and my acne never returned. That was over 20 years ago. I never had one side effect....but thats because I never have side effects from any medication.
I'm surprised you didn't mention retinoids like tretinoin. While you're correct that topical treatments have limited efficacy compared to devices like lasers, tretinoin has been shown since the 80s to stimulate collagen production, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, eliminate acne, and fade blemishes and sun damage after sustained use. It's considered the gold standard for skin anti-aging (and acne) in dermatology. Is it because you microdose accutane? Or is it that tretinoin is primarily a cosmetic treatment, which is related to but somewhat orthogonal to your goals of real anti-aging and reversal of skin damage?
Retinoids make your cells replicate faster, so that you have newer and fresher cells in your skin to look younger. However there is a limited amounts of cells replications in your lifetime (Hayflick limit), hence you’re actually aging faster by using retinoids in exchange for a cosmetic improvement today.
Women in their 60s who've used retinols for decades look amazing. They don't look like they've paradoxically aged faster on account of their retinol use. Quite the opposite.
@@FalseGiggle They've used more of their stem cells reserve to have a higher skin cells turnover, hence appearing younger. The occasional use of retinoids has more advantages than disadvantages, it's just important to highlight that it is not a free lunch, as daily users of tretinoins seem to think.
Ive followed you from the beginning and your skin is looking amazing! Your hard work is paying off in reverse aging. Thank you for sharing the wealth of your research.
@bryanjohnson I am 49 years old, 5'11". I've never ever used any products on my facial skin, other than simply natural soap and that's it, no word of a lie!! and everyone I come across says I look in my early 20's. 🤷♂️
Hey Bryan! Not sure if you'll read this, but what would your thoughts be on switching from Tretinoin to Tazarotene? Have you thought of using Tazarotene instead given that it is generally more potent? Or even potentially cycling the retinoids to maximize retinoic acid receptor binding affinities?
All forms of vitamin A have anti-adipogenic activities at very low (picomolar) concentrations. I would recommend getting off vitamin A if you want to rebuild facial fat. This is not hearsay. There are a dozen articles at least indicating in vitro anti-adipogenic activity. And last year this paper from Richard Gallo's lab showed that the mechanism applies in vivo in humans pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35171653/
Thank you for thinking ahead & sharing, Bryan - as creatures of habit and myopia it takes courage and an uncorruptable focus on the causes of things to get it right 🙏
Bryan, I'm in my young twenties and I've lost 12kg (26 lbs) since discovering you and your work. You’re a true inspiration, and I aspire to be more like you. No one else combines such appreciation, open-mindedness, and self-awareness while also recognizing the challenges others face like you do. From the bottom of my heart, I can say you’re the one person who truly motivates me to pursue greatness in life.
I'm surprised to see no retinol! Have you and the team tested its various forms? I'm also wondering why no internal collagen - is that due to calories?
I wonder if he doesn't use retinol because accutane is known to dry out the skin and make it super sensitive. Although at 80mg a week i'm sure it wouldn't matter.
I'm not sure I agree with the thought that the sun is bad for you. The sun is literally light energy that contain vitamin D. It's essential to avoid things like depression, so while I agree you should not be laying in the sun to tan, it doesn't make sense to block all sunlight.
Bryan, has anyone on your team considered looking into natural oils like jojoba, hemp, castor, black seed oil? I’ve had great success with my eczema, rosacea and wrinkle avoidance ditching the commercial creams for the oils that contain vitamins and omega-3s - cleansing with jojoba every day keeps the pores clean, also magnesium applied once a week helps keep my rosacea away. I mix my own cream with these oils as well as tea tree oil, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid and aloe Vera gel. The castor oil seems to help the most with volume/plumping the skin out. Love your work, stay away from olive or coconut oil on your face, hope this comment helps someone.
Bryan is a lovely man. I'm not in step with what he's doing. Extending life beyond 120 years plus would cause societal collapse, but I admire his passion for what's he's doing.
Most people will not need such repair. Natural oils are inexpensive and nourishing for the whole body and face, eat proper nutrition/vitamins and you will have beautiful skin always, many native cultures demonstrate this.
Hey Bryan, huge thank you for these videos. I've really been struggling to find motivation lately, just in terms of the absolute basics of life, but your methodology and general approach to life is such an inspiration to me. I also have one question after watching another of your videos that I'd be immeasurably grateful for an answer to: is there any way to see what you have been doing to repair your lung damage and your progress in doing so? I had quite a severe pneumonia from COVID and already had poor lung condition prior to that due to recurrent asthma/bronchitis as a child, as a result I'm in quite a sorry state in that regard so would appreciate any advice.
What I don’t get is, how does he know which new medicine or technology is working or not? He says “if it does not work, it’s out,” but when you are using SO many different things, how can you truly ever know which one is working and which isn’t?
I would suggest he uses one new face product and nothing else for a fixed time, and tests his skin electronically during that trial phase to see if there's any improvement.

The biggest issue with skin care products, including almost all the products Bryan Johnson uses, is the environmental and chemical pollutants. These contaminants absorb into the skin and wreck havoc on our bodies in many ways. Clean Label Project, a third party independent lab, has tested a lot of these products with worrisome results. So has the Environmental Working Group. CeraVe is not very clean, unfortunately.
👏 thank you, exactly my thought! I don't understand why they don't use all natural products. And why they support large corporations like CeraVe who's owned by Loreal. Wish he would support smaller brands instead!
I can never afford to do much of the things I've seen in the video, but as someone who has taken quite the impact on my skin I can say that I was seated for the section on health. I grew up in a bit of an unorganized family, and after moving out I tend to have some trouble coming up with a meal plan that is actually healthy. Very useful information.
So just ballparking the cost of this skincare routine: CeraVe Cleanser: $17.99 EltaMD Sunscreen: $43.00 Full suite of lasers: $200,000 Is that about right? 🤣
Thanks for dropping this vid to clarify. On the blueprint website there are more creams listed like"Vit C, E, ferulic, B3..." are these also in the skincare graveyard?
This is interesting content thanks. The harsh flat hair dye is a big ‘tell’ on your age despite your great skin. I think you would look much better and much younger if you let your grey hair come through. It also cheapens your look. Silver hair especially salt and pepper is very youthful and sexy. This hair colour is so distracting I don’t even notice your great skin.
Sun damage is real, I got a mild sunburn all the way across the bridge of my nose to both of my cheeks and the skin there doesn’t look the same as the rest of my face anymore. It’s dry and gets irritated easily now and the pores are much more visible. And the sunburn I got on my shoulder as a kid still seems to be affecting the skin there in the same way.
The best part of this is that it looks so natural, it doesn't look like you have had "work" done. Wondering how much of your volume came from facial fillers? Your esthetician is extremely talented, local to Venice? Thank you for all of the valuable information!

Yes it is wear a spf Broad spectrum will protect you from both uva ( The aging rays ) and uvb ( the burning rays ) . And that’s aging skin damage comes out years later with lines wrinkles sagging skin age spots etc due to the sun 🌞.
It will be very interesting to see Bryan as he gets into his mid-to-late 50s and older. I fit that description and I'm about to turn 57. Looking back at pics of me when I was mid 40's, I look about the same as Bryan. It's only in the past 10 years that I've started noticing the aging--wrinkles and graying hair...thankfully, not much, (if any) receding hairline yet.

Thats all I've been hearing my entire life that sun is damaging to the skin. I find that sunscreen is way more damaging for my skin than the sun. Also, majority of skin cancers are due to lack of sun, not too much of it. Anyway, I'm turning 40 soon and I haven't used sunscreen on daily basis like all of my friends did, I hate it and I'm not afraid of the sun, but of course I don't bake myself in peak hour etc. I look MUCH younger than all of my friends of the same age and I always get asked what is it that I do to stay young, I tell them I expose myself to sun lol. Not too sure if the "science" is actually correct on the sun.
If someone is super healthy and has a good diet rich in olive oil. Sun is not a problem. Sun exposure is good for your health. And the best cream by far and the only one you need is olive oil.
Btw lips are a strong sign of your real age. Thin lips are a bad sign. So ask your scientists what causes that and how to revert it because I feel like its a key factor
Hi Bryan, I notice in your videos that it looks like you have tinea versicolor of your skin. I've noticed this more in some of your other recent videos but it is also notable at 6:29 on your right neck and face skin in this video. I could not find anything online mentioning that you are treating this or what it is but to me it looks like tinea versicolor. I may be way off base and maybe this is just the result of some skin care thing or testing you're doing or maybe you recently got a sunburn or a bad spray tan or maybe it is vitiligo? If it is tinea versicolor then it is treatable and often curable with Miconazole either pills or topical or both. Incidentally, many people also use it topically in their hair regrowth routine as it has been shown to help. Just thought I'd mention this and get your thoughts and feedback about it and what I'm seeing. Thanks!
9:35 Fun fact: the word “umbrella” derives from latin word “umbra”, which means shade/shadow. So, basically, walking with an umbrella in the sunlight is actually the proper way to use the umbrella :D
@@AQBPlays Yes, this is how these latin words survived in the daily scentific language! In italian they remained very similar: umbra (shadow) became "ombra" and penumbra (semi-darkness) became "penombra" :)
There are ways to make the skincare absorb better! What I’ve heard: your skin should be damp before you apply the skincare. You could even use a spray bottle after you’ve applied the skincare, to help keep it damp a couple mins longer. Or keep a face mask on for a while to maintain the hydration. Also, gently massage the skincare in. Massage with your fingers, I don’t like rough guasha massages because I feel they mess up the tissues under your skin.
What I find most interesting about Bryan is the seemingly large disconnect between his public reputation vs everyone who follows him. In the media and the average lay person thinks his ideas are “wacko”, but truly following him he’s a genuine, humble guy who just wants to share his journey. Couldn’t think of a better guy to do it honestly
can confirm. I was a recent convert from thinking he's wacko to seeing his brilliance

Not false, why threat damage when you don't stop it first.
do you treat yourself with color patterning? if not, just look what it is
BryanJohnson what technology's is best for acne scars?
If you had more perfect body fat, your skin would look much younger. Body fat replenishes tissue. You probably have 5% body fat. With 10% body fat you're looking at 18 😅
Those who complain and victimize people of their pale skin are all Antiwhite victimizers.
I totally feel him on the pale skin thing. I am always attacked for not tanning but it causes wrinkles and cancer and frankly it is so rude that people feel comfortable telling others their skin is too white

In your opinion@@Randarrradara personally, I find the paler a woman the sexier I find her.
Thank you for sharing these tips!

I'm on my weightloss journey but now Bryan got me looking into healthy skin as well. I've lost 70 lbs from 230 lbs. No loose skin but I'm now working to tighten my skin. I'll see if i can achieve this by end of 2024.
Any tips that you learned for skin tightening?
@@soigualdo Avoid the common error of prioritizing subcutaneous fat loss over visceral fat. If you're overweight, skip intense gym sessions and cardio to prevent rapid weight loss that exceeds your skin's adaptability. Support skin elasticity by supplementing with collagen and consuming ample vitamin C. Maintain a caloric deficit through controlled eating, daily walks, hydration, and sufficient sleep. Consider water fasting for visceral fat reduction, but practice patience-allow your body time to naturally tighten the skin.
You’ve got this, bud! Well done on the weight loss :)

Now I’d love to see a video of all the skincare items you tried that are now in the graveyard and why!
Agree
Yes please
None work
!!!
tbf, the reason they are in the graveyard is not bc they don't work. he selected them based on a team of researchers agreeing they are good products. he rejected them bc they don't hit his biomarkers. his goal is to reverse sun damage and also add collogen to his face. he said topical creams do not provide some benefits he needs so maybe the video will not be as useful for us, the general consumer.

@@annmarieknapp2480Rain or shine? For real? 😂

Definitely not a drug that is intended for long term supplementation.
i was shocked when he said he's on accutane. That stuff is horrible for you
He is microdosing accutane, which is a strategy that some dermatologists recommend for acne treatment with much minor side effects than a traditional accutane protocol. I believe microdose accutane is also being looked at for its collagen promotion and antiaging effect. You still get liver labs done when on microdosed accutane, since the risks are lower but still there. I’m sure he’s getting tons of tests to document the effects the accutane is having on him.
Doesn’t matter the dose it’s almost like a chemo pill. Accutane is horrible and bad effects come later in life.
Never use retinol in sunlight. The sun blocks out the positive effects that make it work. Use it late in the evening until the next morning.
Oral accutane gives overall effects how do you use topical tretinoin anyway one tube a day throughout the body ?

Exactly
considering all the protocols and markers he is doing i dont think its gonna make any damage. if it did his doctors would probably discontinue it. also considering the low dose i dont think its going to do any harm. accutane is a perfectly safe drug especially if you're in a controlled environment like he is. it also has some anti skin cancer properties which is also good
Interesting, I did see in one of his previous videos that he has dry eyes. He didn't say what medicine it was from though.
I'm pro Accutane. I had SEVERE acne as a youth and in my early 20's. I took Accutane for 4 months and my acne never returned. That was over 20 years ago. I never had one side effect....but thats because I never have side effects from any medication.

Amazing work. I think you could take your work and make tiered guides for people based on income and commitment levels on the best way to fight aging.
Brian, you are providing superb service to the whole world!!!! Thank you!
@@LeoRizzothis isn't true btw. It's been debunked. Especially since tretinoin has been on the market for over 60 years, we have long term studies
@@LeoRizzoI don't have the vocabulary to explain this particular topic but Dr Dray has a video on exactly this and explains it's well.
We should really call you...... Saint Bryan!. You are doing all the work for us to learn. Thank you.
Ive followed you from the beginning and your skin is looking amazing! Your hard work is paying off in reverse aging. Thank you for sharing the wealth of your research.
The scientific approach of your work is truly impressive. Thanks for sharing!
@bryanjohnson I am 49 years old, 5'11". I've never ever used any products on my facial skin, other than simply natural soap and that's it, no word of a lie!! and everyone I come across says I look in my early 20's. 🤷♂️
Did you went outside to the sun?
Try adding methylene blue into your lotions! There is some initial research that it may be better than tretinoin and retinol A.
Thank you Bryan. What you're doing is incredibly interesting. Thank you for sharing your protocols!
Bro, did he mention Tretinoin in this video?
@@sebastianjohannesferdinand5451 Well technically yes, accutane is an Isotretinoin only it's more potent as it is ingested.
I switched from tretinoin to tazarotene and wish I did it sooner,I find it much better then tret and less side effects
Keep it going Bryan! Love your work!
Thanks for your comment. Bryan is vegan, as am I. Are you?
Seems the laser treatments do the same as retinol but instantly. Does not take years.
@@ThatVeganTeacherUA-camhe isn't, he uses collagen powder.
@@ThatVeganTeacherUA-camoh. It's you. What a surprise.
I'm not sure I agree with the thought that the sun is bad for you. The sun is literally light energy that contain vitamin D. It's essential to avoid things like depression, so while I agree you should not be laying in the sun to tan, it doesn't make sense to block all sunlight.
totally agree
True!
Step 1: Be rich
edit : chill IT'S A JOKE. I didn't expect this to blow up lol.
Hahahahhaha
Step 2: Genetics
Step 3: cope
Step 4: Go to a plastic surgeon.
Yes same here!!! That would be aaamaaaziiinnggg! Well all you’re sharing is already amazing, so I guess it would be even MORE amazeballs 😅
what was the nature of his lung damage?
What I don’t get is, how does he know which new medicine or technology is working or not? He says “if it does not work, it’s out,” but when you are using SO many different things, how can you truly ever know which one is working and which isn’t?
I would suggest he uses one new face product and nothing else for a fixed time, and tests his skin electronically during that trial phase to see if there's any improvement.
Bryan your new haircut looks really good mate. A simple but effective change
4:15 when you lose weight and detox your diet you always look worse at first. Everyone always nocks the vegan diet because they start to feel bad a some point and look bad.. but it's the detox process. Once you get passed that you'll start to notice a huge difference.
I have been a devoted skin care junkie since I was 20. I'm now 45, and people think I'm in my early 30s all the time. I'm so glad my mom instilled a good skin care routine in me when I was young.

@@maddysweden2179 because clean products don't really work
I can never afford to do much of the things I've seen in the video, but as someone who has taken quite the impact on my skin I can say that I was seated for the section on health. I grew up in a bit of an unorganized family, and after moving out I tend to have some trouble coming up with a meal plan that is actually healthy. Very useful information.
I love your videos Bryan! Could you do a video on overcoming your depression and binge eating?
So just ballparking the cost of this skincare routine:
CeraVe Cleanser: $17.99
EltaMD Sunscreen: $43.00
Full suite of lasers: $200,000

Thanks for dropping this vid to clarify. On the blueprint website there are more creams listed like"Vit C, E, ferulic, B3..." are these also in the skincare graveyard?
+1 I use those as well
So it would seem.
Brian has got a beauty salon in his house, we can't compete with all that
This is interesting content thanks.
Getting sunlight in your eyes when you're young and developing is super important for preventing myopia though
😢
The best part of this is that it looks so natural, it doesn't look like you have had "work" done. Wondering how much of your volume came from facial fillers? Your esthetician is extremely talented, local to Venice? Thank you for all of the valuable information!
Great video - The important of spf is finally getting through to people . I am 56 and when I was 22 I worked for a well know skincare brand in the U.K. and we always recommended spf over the top of our moisturiser all year round . We use to say face neck and hands , customers would say all year 😮yes because even on a cloudy day uva ( ageing rays ) are there . I bet those customers I served were pleased becsuse that was over 30 years ago . Keep up with the amazing work you are doing you are truly fasinating and totally motivating. 🙌🙏🥰
Hi I have a question. I'm from London and I was wondering is it really necessary to wear SPF when the UV index is 0 in the winter? Isn't this index for both UVB and UVA rays?
Best practice is SPF 50 UVA+B all year long indoor outdoor
@@juliapatricia2737Probably not. But I use sunscreen 365 and have for 40 years. I'm 70 now. Have no wrinkles. Never missed a day Julia 😊
I'm convinced there is a hole in the ozone later over the UK. I find it easier to get sunburnt there than in France, S.E. Asia, or Greece, etc.
Right now, at 46, he definitely looks great, but honestly, he looks about the same as any other 46 y.o. who's stays fit, eats a reasonable a diet and doesn't smoke (or do other harmful drugs regularly). I fit that description and I'm about to turn 57. Looking back at pics of me when I was mid 40's, I look about the same as Bryan. It's only in the past 10 years that I've started noticing the aging--wrinkles and graying hair...thankfully, not much, (if any) receding hairline yet.
Absolutely true, only time will tell if any of this means anything.

The insides of the body matter more
Can you make a video about dental health and eye health??? You know so much about skin and probably know about other areas too
Thats all I've been hearing my entire life that sun is damaging to the skin.

Umbra is the shadow of the moon cast upon the Earth
We also have Penumbra
@@AQBPlays Yes, this is how these latin words survived in the daily scentific language! In italian they remained very similar: umbra (shadow) became "ombra" and penumbra (semi-darkness) became "penombra" :)

Stop the LPN lights & the blue lights unless your having a breakout. Plus the sun is necessary. Just go slow.
