Dig the Q&A, Pete. It’s been a while since you did one! Sorry I missed it so I’ll ask here: 1. Would you consider making leather goods again and selling it as merch? 2. (Not a question but a request) I want to see you play the drums, man!
*Chris, you ought to do a collab with Peter, where he could use the RED Camera to film you and some of your more flamboyant magic card tricks!* Lets do this!
People don't come to your channel for photography. They come here to see YOU. They come to see someone (You) who is clearly enjoying life more than they are.
The reason why we would like a coffee video is because we like you! Your UA-cam is about photos and video but just as any other highly watched video, we like YOU! Your energy of positivity and forward progression is what drives me to keep watching. The fact that you are you and are okay with the way you are is something I admire. Keep doing your thing brother! Much love from SF.
1. RED breakdown yeah man, we're on it! 2. Coffee tutorialS - many of them, do a miniseries out of this, this would be soooo interesting! EDIT: also, Q&A is super cool from time to time, stoked for more!
Your channel is the perfect antidote for television. I am always learning with PM videos. Important stuff and not so... and your kids being the MOST PROUD of part of your life, PERFECT answer sir. Perfect.
dude, Peter, I'm getting excited to learn more about photography and cameras and videos, your energy is contagious, you rock man, thanks for sharing it and dude, i love Toronto, I'm from NY and when I visited Toronto, it felt like it was a cleaner NY, absolutely loved everything about it, gorgeous city, beautiful people, everything was clean AF
Hi Peter, here are some fan request/ video ideas to share with you : 1) a cross-over episode with Gerald Undone 2) what is the Canadian phothography scene like? Specifically, what is culturally “Canadian” about the photography industry in the Great White North? 3) how to take (awesome) photos of maple leaves. No seriously, mate. 4) what is your product photography workflow like? And could you pull it off with an APSC camera? Cheers Peter 🍻 Have a great one.
great investment ... the best way to approach that camera is keep on thinking about still photography.... helium sensor is winner if you play with colours... just nail the exposure and you going to make the best pictures ever...then lots of tricks while you'll learn... but if you come from photography you did the best move you could... congrats
☕️ Make a video on “How to make a tutorial video” and use making a cup of coffee as your example project. You’d make relevant content for your channel and sneak in a coffee tutorial!
I know this is a super old video and I am sure I commented on this 2 years ago but I watch and rewatch your videos for you not the stuff you do although I do love the stuff you talk about but make whatever content you want. Coffee, sitting in the middle of nowhere or a epic film! I will be here to support you. I am on my 3rd time? going through your videos. I learn something new each and every time even if I seen the video 3 or 50 times lol
came back to watch this because I thought you mentioned a stock video website that you use. still glad I watched it again. your card tricks are mind boggling. The dedication and training that must have gone into making them so fluid(??!). Thank you for all you do to keep us entertained.
Damn dude!! I paused your show at 17:44 to say hell ya make a video on how you make coffee! I've bought your coffee from James. LOVE IT! and love how coffee is a cameo in your episodes. It's a part of you and your content just as much as photography is. Your love of coffee inspires me to create content around things that I love just as much as your photography/videography does. SO DO IT! Payce!
The price of the camera is just _one_ factor. You basically have to upgrade your whole editing suite too, and double or triple the amount of available hard drive space. On top of that, all RED equipment is priced through the roof. However I do not for one second buy that there's a higher learning curve for it. I take that from my experience with Hasselblad cameras. Oh boy are they a JOY to work with, but they're not much different than any other camera - save HILLARIOUSLY HIGH QUALITY. (With the caveat of cinematography vs videography - where a few thing certainly differ.)
@@skate3enjoyer418 yeah but that one cant be upgraded (I.e. you can't turn it in for a newer model like the others) the Dragon-x kit is the better entry into red its 5k more though
I broke my clavicle last august after a bad landing with my bike and I swear I thought that my arm will fall of my body. I was on my couch with ice day and night, I couldn't do anything beside watching UA-cam and Netflix... Not a bad thing after all, I discover your channel take my camera and my old Minolta lens and get back in doing something that I love and were I cannot broke any bones by doing it :D
Yes and No... Recently purchased an older Canon 5D Mark ii, I can already see that the images look a lot sharper compared to my Nikon D5200 which I had before. But actually I shot on of my favorite pictures on a free camera which I got from a friend. The camera doesn’t work all the time, it is 13/14 years old and has 6mp. If you’re having fun making content, most of the camera’s will do the job. Also shooting a lot of client work on old vintage lenses at this moment. Dirt cheap and most of them are really good
Any time you pan it'll always look digital though, 16mm, 35mm and 65mm will never suffer from that and is truly what makes a film, look like a film. So many movies have been ruined by shooting digital for that very reason. It's like breaking the forth wall and you've just experienced a glimmer of home movie making on a DV camera of 20 years ago. Color, dynamic range, resolution might all be good but it can't escape the dreaded pan issue, or anything that includes motion. Any pro can spot it.
I fully understand that this is an older video but I just have to say how grateful I am to have found this channel . not to gas you up... but I honestly feel like I will be seeing this guy at the Oscars one day. Or some.. sort of.. equivalent, maybe. Passion, man. It's very refreshing.
ok, some thoughts - coffe? 100% - Q&A? sure, thats really fun, to see you trying to pronounce that weird names!! hahahahah - family? actually i love that from you, by protecting their identity from internet, that's really good bro!! - spanish? didn´t know that your wife was a spanish speaker, btw, i just started my youtube channel, im from colombia, and i have to say it, you inspired me doing it, so, i was wonder, is there any chance to do a video together? i can make you speak spanish and do your "whats up...!!" intro in spanish, that would be so fun to do!!
