Well I grated all the veggies before I realized I was out of Almond flour, so I used Garbanzo bean flour. And I live in an RV and it was too hot to turn the oven on so I cooked them on my cast iron frying pan. And they were Amazing! Great recipe. I will make these again. Thank you!
Do you allow the flour & water to stand before using or just use it? The gastral distress a problem?
I was just reading the comments to find out if you could use garbanzo bean or all purpose flour instead, so thanks for this comment.
I am going to try that recipe it looks delicious.canu any other flour be or you can only the flour you
can any other flour be used
Hi Carolyn. How long did you fry each side of the patties
Watching her not emptying the bowls all the way makes my ocd go crazy haha, awesome recipe tho!
🤣🤣🤣ikr
Me 2
🙈🤣
“Mix well,” lol, as she half-heartedly stirs leaving big lumps of stuff.
My non-exciting OCD, suddenly appeared. It was disturbing, to say the least 😂😂😂 BUT it looks like a very nice recipe, I'm totally going to give it a go, without the oil.
I started to make it and realised that I don’t have a potato. So, I used sweet potato. Came out also good.
Thank you so much
Good to know. Can't have carrots so was thinking of subbing sweet potato for that. Thanks.
finally i found the veggie burger that really taste good and held together perfectly!! baking them in the oven was even better! i added chili powder, onion powder, paprika and i used roasted ground walnuts instead of the almond flour… the taste was really good!! thank you for this recipe I finally can say i have made a good veggie burger!!😂
Thank you! So awesome to hear that :)
I just made this and it was delicious! I used just the regular flour and dried italian herbs. So delicious and works just as well. My husband loved it too! Thanks for the recipe!
I just made these and they were great! The only problem is once I started eating them I couldn’t stop. Thank you.
🤣😀Bon appetit💕❤️
I made this several times and I am not bored of it! Thank you very much!
I keep coming back to this one its great
I made these patties today and they are delicious! :) I didn't add nutritional yeast because I didn't have any and didn't use any oils. Had some oats at home so I made oat flour in a grinder and used it instead of almond flour. It all worked well and made me happy :) Thank You!
I wonder how 1/4 cup of pumpkin would work in place of the oil.
I made these yesterday and couldn't believe how tasty they were! This recipe is definately a keeper. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the great healthy living video.
I made these today and they are delicious. Hubby really liked them. Here are the directions I wrote from the video. Thank you for sharing!
Line baking tray with parchment paper.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F or 205 C.
Put all the wet ingredients into a bowl and
mix well. Cover and let sit about 5
minutes. While that is resting, mix all
the dry ingredients together in another bowl.
Now go back to the wet ingredients.
Put them in a strainer over another bowl. Press to extract most of the water. Put in a dry bowl. Add in the onion and cilantro. Mix in the mixed dry ingredients. Knead with hands all together until it’s all
mixed together. Oil a ¼ measuring cup
and your hands. Scoop the dough into the
measuring cup and form into equal size patties.
Place patties on the baking tray about ½ inch apart. Bake for about 25-30mins. Turn patties over and bake another 15 mins. They shouldn’t be too moist or soggy.
Remove from oven and brush
with the oil on each side.
Thank you :)

Thank You!
OH MY GOOOOOSSHH. I made these tonight and they are a game changer on my vegan journey!!!! Thank you so, so, so very much!!
I've gotta try these after reading your comment. They look amazing.
I also did this recipe but using tapioca flour 'cause I didnt have the other one andd they are Awesome!! I Didn't expect that much flavor!
I use a canning jar lid to form my patties. That way you can use the lid to push Pattie from ring and they are all the same size. Larger for a nice hamburger patty. If you use sage and smoke flavoring you can make a type of sausage pattie for breakfast. Once cooked you can put them in a casserole dish and put Creole sauce over them and bake. Great job in putting together a mix that is so versital.
If not baked, maybe panfry in olive oil is ok? 😊
@@thelmabelda5447 If you read the comments above, someone did pan fry them and liked them!
Even before they were cooked, they looked good enough to eat!
I made these, used almond flour, and they were so delicious - definitely on my favourite recipe list, thank you for sharing! 👍🏼

Wow! These were amazing and easy. I baked mine in lightly buttered cupcake tins. Turned out great! Thank you for a very tasty and health recipe.
Made these without oil. They are wonderful. Best vegetable Pattie I've tried.
Did you change the recipe other tha the oil?
@@sheriecooper4260 no, the only thing the oil adds is a crispiness to the outside. it's not really needed. also the 'dough' slides out of the cup scooper fine without oil.
@@belljo Thank you for this healthy tip!!!
Excellent receipe André smooth voice to thanks for sharing
Very detailed and well explained. This looks lovely. Looking forward to trying it. Tyvm!
I bet these would also be great if you molded them into smaller bite sizes to make nuggets!! With a side of ranch for dipping sauce😋
Awesome idea! Would make great appetizer
Yes. Will cook them in air fryer just with a slight smear of oil👍😋😋😋

this is nice as I can shred the ingredients and no need for food processor.
Best vegan burger ever! Just added a lil bit of ginger and cooked the onions before. Thanks for this delicious recipe 🙏🏼
Thank you. This is a wonderful recipe. I switched out the regular potato for a Korean potato. I also added Caribbean spice to my dry ingridents and made my patties a bit bigger. They came out delicious and rendered eight meaty sized patties.
These look delicious.
Excellent recipe!!!!! Loved it. Corrine Coleman
Absolutely the best vegetable burger I've ever tried.

Thank you. 👍
Love it.
Great job. Thanks for sharing.
Looks amazing, might worth trying with sweet potatoes as well
Sweet potato and carrots might add too much sweetness though
Just made these. They turned out awesome 👍👍👍
Thank you for your video awesome information
Nice one.
Just wanted to let you know how much we love these patties at home. I’ve been making them weekly. Thanks
Спасибо.
Soon as C19 self-quarantine is over, I will be able to go to the shop and then I will totally make these!!!! Thanks so much, my mouth is watering!!!!
Thank you, what a great recipe!
My kid loves this very much
Just made these and they were amazing! I didn’t add in any of the spices except salt and pepper and it was perfect. The more flour you add the more chewy or they are like a hash brown. Also we used our cast iron skillet to make them and they came out perfect
Cast iron is really quite a reliable tool in greaseless cooking too. Panfry🍳 in a smear of oil is ok👍💯😊❤️
It is SUCH a delight to watch you forming the patties with so much love
perfect.
Thank you for sharing this awesome recipe. Love it 🙏
I made them today, but i used some bread crumbs and little bit corn starch, they turned out good. Thank you so much for this healthy recipe🙏🌹🌷
I made this using chickpea flour (didn't have almond flour and wanted to make them) - they are yummy!
Great suggestion
Great minds think alike! :)
That's really handy to know as I mostly just use besan because of gluten/wheat intolerance. Thank you
yumyummoany You can probably substitute with any flour.
@@HelloGreen I thought that each type of flour has different qualities so behaves differently in any given recipe, therefore creating a varied end result.
Looks like yummy
Thank you for sharing
Glad to find a way to make vegetables exciting!
I have been seeking some recipes for our meatless Mondays. Thank you for this wonderful recipe.🌞👍👍🌿
Mrs. H. Thanks for giving me this idea, “Meatless Monday’s”! I would like for my family, to have at least 1-2 meatless days for dinner.
@@butterflyl0ve212 Yes. It is working for us. Our digestion is improving.🌻🌾🌿💚💚💚💚
great recipe - easy to make oil-free. you can also skip the draining step as well. I actually froze mine to keep them for quick meals, helps them stay together better. I added some chopped and grated celery to mine in place of the 2nd zucc and it gave it a nice kick in umame (since celery has a lot of salt).
Did you freeze them before you cooked them or after? I am also looking to make a bunch and freeze them for later, but am not sure if I should cook them first before freezing. Thanks.
@@MsPants1632 I cooked them first, then froze. But I guess it would fine to freeze them 'uncooked' just put baking paper between each patty so they don't fuse together. but uncooked, there is more water in them and so freezing can sometimes have unexpected results.
@@belljo thanks so much for replying!!! I can’t wait to make them:))
Thanks for giving this recipe. I will try it
looks delicious
Wow tried it today, just tweaked a little , and I ate it in a chickpea wrap with spicy kimchi , was absolutely divine 😍 thank you
A H K - Thank you!
I tried these patties. Simply yummy... Thank you for sharing such a yummy recipe with alternate options..
Making these for sure!
I love this channel so simple
I'm so excited to try this, thank you for sharing.
Thank you for this wonderful recipe! I added a few extra ingredients and used a bit of Bobs Red Mill non dairy Egg Replacer to help bind them. These are time consuming to make but well worth it! Thank you!!
Thank you for the tip about the egg replacer. I will look for it.
I like this
Great recipe.
I am so happy to see that you have called these "patties" and not burgers. Burgers reminds me of, well, you know what I mean if you are vegan.
I made half the quantity using a whole egg to bind and baked them in a six hole muffin tin. Excellent! Thank you.
keithmarj, great idea! please also, what oven temp did you use and for how long?
Nice recipe n well explained , wl try soon, be blessed for sharing ......
Delicious thank you!
