Well I grated all the veggies before I realized I was out of Almond flour, so I used Garbanzo bean flour. And I live in an RV and it was too hot to turn the oven on so I cooked them on my cast iron frying pan. And they were Amazing! Great recipe. I will make these again. Thank you!
finally i found the veggie burger that really taste good and held together perfectly!! baking them in the oven was even better! i added chili powder, onion powder, paprika and i used roasted ground walnuts instead of the almond flour… the taste was really good!! thank you for this recipe I finally can say i have made a good veggie burger!!😂
I just made this and it was delicious! I used just the regular flour and dried italian herbs. So delicious and works just as well. My husband loved it too! Thanks for the recipe!
I use a canning jar lid to form my patties. That way you can use the lid to push Pattie from ring and they are all the same size. Larger for a nice hamburger patty. If you use sage and smoke flavoring you can make a type of sausage pattie for breakfast. Once cooked you can put them in a casserole dish and put Creole sauce over them and bake. Great job in putting together a mix that is so versital.
I made these patties today and they are delicious! :) I didn't add nutritional yeast because I didn't have any and didn't use any oils. Had some oats at home so I made oat flour in a grinder and used it instead of almond flour. It all worked well and made me happy :) Thank You!
My non-exciting OCD, suddenly appeared. It was disturbing, to say the least 😂😂😂 BUT it looks like a very nice recipe, I'm totally going to give it a go, without the oil.
I made these and they were amazing. I used vegan cheese cause I didnt have nutritional yeast, I added sweet peppers and diced banana peppers as well...just amazing
I made these today and they are delicious. Hubby really liked them. Here are the directions I wrote from the video. Thank you for sharing! Line baking tray with parchment paper. Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F or 205 C. Put all the wet ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Cover and let sit about 5 minutes. While that is resting, mix all the dry ingredients together in another bowl. Now go back to the wet ingredients. Put them in a strainer over another bowl. Press to extract most of the water. Put in a dry bowl. Add in the onion and cilantro. Mix in the mixed dry ingredients. Knead with hands all together until it’s all mixed together. Oil a ¼ measuring cup and your hands. Scoop the dough into the measuring cup and form into equal size patties. Place patties on the baking tray about ½ inch apart. Bake for about 25-30mins. Turn patties over and bake another 15 mins. They shouldn’t be too moist or soggy. Remove from oven and brush with the oil on each side.
great recipe - easy to make oil-free. you can also skip the draining step as well. I actually froze mine to keep them for quick meals, helps them stay together better. I added some chopped and grated celery to mine in place of the 2nd zucc and it gave it a nice kick in umame (since celery has a lot of salt).
Did you freeze them before you cooked them or after? I am also looking to make a bunch and freeze them for later, but am not sure if I should cook them first before freezing. Thanks.
@@MsPants1632 I cooked them first, then froze. But I guess it would fine to freeze them 'uncooked' just put baking paper between each patty so they don't fuse together. but uncooked, there is more water in them and so freezing can sometimes have unexpected results.

I tried this receipe with 1/4 cup cream of wheat & 1/2 cup almond flour & pinch of baking soda & fresh ginger & garlic & came out very nice & crispy. Thank u for sharing this receipe
Thank you. This is a wonderful recipe. I switched out the regular potato for a Korean potato. I also added Caribbean spice to my dry ingridents and made my patties a bit bigger. They came out delicious and rendered eight meaty sized patties.
I make these veggie patties every week I love them. I’ve used yam instead of potato, that’s my favorite swap, I’ve also used fresh dill instead of cilantro, added a small amt of thinly sliced cabbage, also made them without potato at all. It’s a versatile recipe.

Hello from Québec, Canada.
