I am the owner of the grey decat BMW. I can state that the bike ( although great stock) has improved dramatically since the map. It’s so much smoother and the power and torque are much more accessible in real world riding. A great service from start to finish and very friendly and likeable team at BHP. If you are going to spend thousands on a new motorcycle then add a few hundred more to make it a better bike.
@BHPUK I'm looking at tuning my 21 s1000xr M. I did the servo body mod and removed the Servo motor, and that alone woke it up. And it sounds much better. Does the decat make it unbearably loud? I had a super Duke 1290 gt That I removed the cat on with a pipe werx can, man it was insane!
Will the link pipe decat the bike so you still keep the headers which saves money,I'll probably bring you my 2021 XR motorsport with factory Akra end can in thd spring. Mine doesn't feel too bad from around 4.5k revs.
OK.. everything nice..stock m model 23 with akrapovic m bmw endurance chain ,lithium battery dna stage 1 air filter on dyno :164hp.plus guarantee. What about you??the bmw 3 years guarantee??changing fuel maps t
I swapped my 2018 for a 2022 and I am really disappointed, it feels sluggish, soft…just not the same bike at all which is a damned shame. I’ll be looking to you guys soon to help prevent a bike divorce.
That’s a really common sentiment but honestly after a remap you’ll find it better than the gen 1 bike. That promise comes with a money back guarantee. 👍🏻
Hello, great info. I am in the US and am about to fit the Akra header to the bike ditching that Giant Euro 5 Cat. What kind of gain will I see without a tune and just adding the header. I ran the Akra header on my Gen 1 XR for 25K miles with no issues without a tune and it ran great. Cheers!
The new Euro 5 bike will run very lean without a tune. If you email the office at info@bhp-uk.net we can forward you some runs that show exactly how lean the bike will be without a tune.
Hi I own 2020 BMW S1000XR Gen 2 - Will this ECU tune Rectify the Cold start (high Idling) ? if Yes I would be interested in your product, Do let me know the Earliest. Thanks
That's the characteristics of the bike and just euro 5 emissions in general. If you want that sorting out let us know, we are here to help and we develop all the maps ourselves in house in the UK and they come with a no quibble 30-day money back guarantee.
Where can I find your workshop as I ve been looking for a place to do mine. Its a 2022 model as well, took it to MSS PERFORMANCE and was told there's no software for my bikes ECU yet
Can you map out the lean bottom end on a gen 1 to stop all the snatch unless on the throttle, full system been mapped before with in plugged lamba sensors
@@tonyharding5336 we can program these through the OBD socket. They are also a available on our ECU Flasher here shop.bhp-uk.net/products/bmw-ecu-flasher?variant=41017951584309
@@blackstorm01 the short answer is no. If a manufacturer wants to void a warranty, legally they have to prove that the modifications have caused the failure. Some manufacturers are better than others. Generally if your manufacturer has a good reputation for upholding warranty claims then you’re generally fine. If on the other hand your manufacturer has a reputation for trying to wriggle out of all warranty claims then they will use any excuse they can.
It really depends on the system and the type of baffle. GENERALLY, an open baffle will not need a retune, a closed end baffle will need a retune though.

Thanks for the kind words Stephen. It was a pleasure to meet you and work on your bike.
Has fuel consumption changed at all
How loud is your bike with decat

So true, I test rode a 2023 here in USA, and it's gutless below 6k, a flash is for sure needed.
Tidy gains.. glad you hitting the Euro5 bikes
We have a couple of Euro 5 Hypermotards in at the moment. Video should be along soon.
@@BHPUK Music to my ears.. I’ll reach out and will pop over and see you and maybe do a video 👍🏻👍🏻

I might be interested in this if it's available for the handheld device. The throttle response is indeed lacking.
Yes, this is available on our ECU Flasher.

We can remove the high idling on start up for you as well as remap this bike.

Got my 2022 XR recently and whilst i do love the bike the fuelling and throttle is horrid at low speeds, incredibly jerky

Yes we definitely can. In fact we think that’s the most important factor in the tuning.
@@BHPUK interesting, does the ecu still have to be taken off or can you just plug it in now ?

how does the remap work across the different modes? Is it only active in dynamic or are modes disabled with a remap?
The modes still work perfectly. We fix the fuelling and advance in all modes.
If the motorcycle has factory warranty it will be voided by tunning ?

Dear BHP team in the GS911 real time data my S1000xr gen1 "oil temperature showing -39.8c" is this normal ? even if the bike is dyno tuned ?
We don't use GS911 but this does not sound correct.
Yes normal.
Can you remove the servo as well
Yes we can 👍🏻
