Check Fuel Filler Inlet Ford F150 09-14

Fixing a P0455 large leak detected and Check Fuel Fill inlet in 2013 Ford F150. I checked the purge valve which was fine. However, I discovered the fuel cap was defective. This videos shows you how to replace the fuel filler neck without removed the gas tank or using a lift. This video is for a DIY repair at home.

Thank you sir, I have been unable to put fuel into my ecoboost with it spraying back to me at the pump. I replaced the two sensors the large carbon canister and only thing left is the fuel filler assembly I believe. You have made it seem doable and very informative. Thanks again!

Can you add what brand and part number your replacement neck is please? I bought a replacement that doesn’t have the locking tabs. Kind of useless without them.

I purchased the exact Ford part. I was a used part. The part no. BL34 9034 AE from FoMoCo

Same code I replaced my purge valve on my 2013 f150 v6 ecoboost there is a chance it could be your purge valve if not it’s definitely the filler neck

Mine was the purge valve, 40$ part, super easy fix.

I only replaced the filler neck because that was my problem. My filler neck was damaged. I would advise doing a smoke test for P0442.
