Hahaha thanks heaps Mike! Yes, knowing how these toys were marketed, the fall probably wasn't the worst action the cannon has seen in its life!💥😂 Appreciate the support mate!!
Another great video Scott. Always fun watching your appreciation of all the details of toys of this era. This is a very cool playset that I wasn't aware of before. And I totally agree with you about that spectacular, colourful 90s box art. I never owned any Crash Dummies as a kid but they still trigger warm nostalgia for me.
Thanks heaps mate, I appreciate the kind words! It was definitely a background toy line for me as a kid, never dominated my attention as much as turtles or wrestling, but quintessentially 90s!
If any toy line is going to survive a fall from a table, its definitely going to be the Crash Test Dummies! Glad you completed your playset! I never thought about but you're right, a lot of 80s & 90s playsets did have trap doors and jail cells lol. They all look great together. Its going to be an awesome display. I always liked the PSAs and your videos made me like this toy line even more. Great video as always my man.
Oh yeah, the Junkbots' Crash Cannon has seen plenty worse for sure!😂 So true, Some of those classic playset features never go out of style! Glad I could give the Dummies some shine, appreciate the kind words and support my dude!
Thanks Phil! Indeed, I think for some the gimmick had run it's course by 1993, but I thought Junkman and the Junkbots were the coolest. Appreciate the support mate🍻
Great job Scott and the crash dummies are a good idea I feel since it teaches kids about road safety and they can play with toys and keep up the amazing work
Thanks mate, I appreciate it! I'm probably not going to chase down any more of the vehicles due to space limitations, but I'd like to get my hands on carded versions of the original dummies, Vince and Larry, from before they rebranded.
Yeah my brother and I had a ball with these toys as a kid! You definitely need to keep an eye out for some, and get a little more dummy representation in the Geek Strong collection. Thanks for watching Deano, I appreciate the support mate!
Thanks Nate! That's so true mate, at a time when the action figure industry was as creative and competitive as ever, Tyco managed to come up with something truly original here💥
Hang on!!! Bad guys!!??? 😮 I knew of crash test dummies but not bad guys! Lol once again I’m sat at Crusher School lol, I guess having kids especially as crash test subjects is questionable lol, but just great play value appropriate or not lol, another great episode mate, love learning new stuff 👍
Thanks heaps Luke, I appreciate it mate! Yes indeed my friend, while villains are a pretty fundamental element of toy/pop culture, they were somewhat of an afterthought in this line, but they sure hooked me as a 9 year old! Thanks as always for the support and kind words mate.👍
I remembered those figures... I remembered many years ago, my mom and I looking for a B'day present for my cousin at the mall, I recommend her these Crash Dummies (which I thought it looks cool), she look at these figures and watched the VHS tape played at the display shelf, she found that these 'crashing' toys seem...... 'disturbing', so she bought a GI Joe Star Brigade figure instead..... 😅😁
Haha I can totally understand why the parents may think the Crash Dummies were disturbing, especially with the baby and pet dummies! You have a great memory Charlie, I wish I could recall more of those types of toy store memories!☺️
Mate knocked out it the park a great episode on the history of crash test dummies and an incredible playset it really looks like you have most of the toyline there too, will you be getting any of the crash test dummies planes ✈️? As always mate well done 👍🏻
Thanks Ryan, I appreciate that mate! There's still a few vehicles I don't have, but space is the issue. I do have the Crash Plane though, just no space to show it off in this video😅
Awesome man! Looked like a pretty basic toy scene until you set all the figures in. Displays awesome except we toy collectors don’t have enough space 😂😂
I appreciate it dude! Yeah the figures and vehicles definitely bring this thing to life. Haha no matter how much space we have it never seems to be enough😂
Fantastic playset. Its one of those colour schemes that screams 90's. I hope your cannon survived! Thank you for the awesome video!!!
Hahaha thanks heaps Mike! Yes, knowing how these toys were marketed, the fall probably wasn't the worst action the cannon has seen in its life!💥😂 Appreciate the support mate!!
This thing is beautiful. I totally missed this set when I was a kid. My brother and I had most of the Crash Dummies toys.😊
I agree mate, I think it's a really underrated set (and an underrated toy line for that matter!)
Great collection, you really need the Junkbot Wrecker to go with that!
I definitely need that thing!!!

That’s awesome! I’ve still got the red car, the pets and few figs I had as a kid. Didn’t know about the playsets ! Very cool , great video Scott 😄
Thanks dude! That's so good you still have the Crash Dummies toys you had as a kid. Mine and my brother's got trashed!💥
VILLIANS!! 💪😲 NO WAY, I had no idea there were villians.
Oh yeah, the evil dummies make the line that much more interesting to me!
Crash test baddies!? I had no idea, interesting video Scott 😮 What a great play set too mate 🍻
Thanks Phil! Indeed, I think for some the gimmick had run it's course by 1993, but I thought Junkman and the Junkbots were the coolest. Appreciate the support mate🍻
Great job Scott and the crash dummies are a good idea I feel since it teaches kids about road safety and they can play with toys and keep up the amazing work
Thanks bro! Yeah I agree, I always took the road safety message for what it was, even though I had a ball smashing up the toys💥
Great episode mate, very well presented and explain, it’s a large collection and you look like you’re on your way to completing it.
Great work dude.
Thanks mate, I appreciate it! I'm probably not going to chase down any more of the vehicles due to space limitations, but I'd like to get my hands on carded versions of the original dummies, Vince and Larry, from before they rebranded.
This is such a fun line, I wish I had these as a young kid, I own 1 dummy, but that's to you. I need more. 💪😆
Yeah my brother and I had a ball with these toys as a kid! You definitely need to keep an eye out for some, and get a little more dummy representation in the Geek Strong collection. Thanks for watching Deano, I appreciate the support mate!
Awesome display..looks great, love it!
Thanks heaps mate!
Awesome line of toys Scott, definitely would love to start a collection. Very cool video 😎
I appreciate it Jul, definitely worth keeping an eye out for this toy line👀😁
Nice to see the ICD get some love!
Cheers mate, about time I give the dummies some shine!!
OMG, I've never ever seen a Spin with vhs on card 😳.
Very cool video ❤
I've had a couple of people mention that the Spin with VHS is an obscure one... maybe an Australian exclusive?🤔
Awesome toys action figure collection ❤😊
Thank you! Yeah, these toys were a lot of fun back in the day and display great!👌
Awesome video mate such a cool playset
Thanks mate, I appreciate it!👊😎
Absolutely beautiful, watching this made my Saturday night, thank you.
That's quite the compliment, thank you Rafael!🙌
Man what a cool playset!! The Crash dummies was a truly unique and creative toyline that’s for sure! Great video mate!
Thanks Nate! That's so true mate, at a time when the action figure industry was as creative and competitive as ever, Tyco managed to come up with something truly original here💥

The one gaurded by jackhammer is slick and the gsurd3d by sidrswipe is spin
I know, when I was editing the footage I spotted the error!🤬
Great video. I had the other playset but I sold it because it was way too big to display.
Still have the crash and bash chair that attached to to it though.
Thank you! Yeah the Crash Test Center play set is massive! I'd love to get it one day bit I'm not sure I have the space to display it either!
