Wow funny timing on this video! I had just subscribed and I was getting into shogi and xiangqi...
Yeah timing is... This IS no time! It was a crazy adventure getting this video to 60 second 😅
In my opinion on those Japanese chess pieces:
Pawn: soldiers
Rook: charioteer
Lance: lancer
Silver general: commander
Gold general: warrior
Take note, I don’t use bishop, knight, and king because they are just the same
A really convenient way to review everything!
Nicely done!!!!!
Thanks for the good comment, my shogi buddy!
I came here because I played Yakuza 7 but... huuuuh... nope... still, cute video ~
I have pieces that move like the dragon horse and flying chariot, but they're called princess and prince.
Great! Greetings from Germany
Thanks Alex, wishing you well from across the ocean 🌊
wow yea you pretty much covered it
Thanks Johnny -- you are the first to comment, within the first minute! It's a fast world, isn't it? :)
Did you ever hear about Chess-Battle of A. S. Yurgelevich? It's a Soviet Chess variant of 1933
I am not particularly familiar with that game, but I understand it is one of the many war-inspired variants... it is detailed here www.chessvariants.com/large.dir/chessbattle.html
