Nissan NEEDS to make a Pro4X with a 6 foot bed. This is the reason I don't already have one.
They already do. Its canada only though.
Same! Love this truck but have held off on it because I need the 6ft bed.
Agreed! Had to buy a bed extender the 1st week just so i could cram more firewood in the back with tailgate down.
@@spyder000069 Not the crew cab.
This is truly shocking! Its a good thing i was sitting down when watching this. 😅
I wish they would make a long bed pro4x model
I like the 2024 better.
The 2024 Frontier imo is near perfect for me the way it is especially in King Cab S 4x4 trim. The only upgrades they could have made to this truck to make it perfect for me are to bring back the option of a manual transmission and the option to add a rear locker. All of the changes mentioned hear are only going to raise the price, make the truck more complicated and less reliable. If the changes mentioned in this video are true, I better make a move on a 2024 before they completely ruin it for me.
Only thing I like there was engine options, both keeping the v6 & a slightly larger infotainment. Only negative about the infotainment is losing the physical climate control buttons.
I need to go ahead and get my 2024 soon. Since I live in tornado alley, I need to probably get it this summer.👍
I have a22 Taco SR 2WD I was thinking of upgrading to 2024 TacoSR5 4WD. Not anymore, I’m getting the Nissan SV crew cab 2024 before 2024 summer is over, and before Nissan ruins it the way Toyota has to ruin the taco.
I think the 2024 model fits the needs of the majority of buyers. It has it all for the price: technology, good power, style, safety features, etcetera. Maybe it needs a 1" or 2" lift kit, but overall it's a nice choice for me.
This guy doesn't know much about the current Frontier. all the safety features have come standard for years
I'll keep my '23 P4X. I like the interior and the simple In-dash touch screen. Buttons I need are easy to use and I don't want a computer monitor sticking up and out of the dash if that's what they're going to do. If they change the exterior looks, that's fine and I'm sure it'll be a nice looking truck but what Nissan has done so well with the current Gen 3's is keep it simple, rugged and appealing.
Telescopic I steering wheel???
Guess not for some odd reason.
Just move your seat… no?
They need to put a 6spd in the options.
Shocks the entire car industry??? As in Scotty Kilmer shocking??? The exterior of that truck is pig shit ugly. How much more is this truck going to cost?? Competing with the Tacoma, price wise too???
Agreed, except the new Taco looks like ass!
If the Pro-4x has an MSRP of $40,000 then maybe you can get the price down to $36,000 at the dealership. That is tempting. Especially since the equivalent Tacoma is around $60,000 and only has a 4 cylinder engine.
Only needs 3 thing
Eliminate start stop
6 ft bed option on p4x
Tailgate step incorporated into rear bumper
My 2 cents: Add a key switch to start it instead of the push button/FOB, and keyed door locks on both front doors. I've had FOBs used for entry fail on my previous trucks so I don't want to rely on them. And I'd feel it had better security with a "chipped" key for starting instead of a FOB. I keep my vehicles for 10-15 years/200k miles.
The start stop is awful. The driver seat seat sucks too because many including myself notice the drivers seat will drift back on its own after sitting a while, 95% of the time I have to keep adjusting my seat forward and Nissan will NOT FIX IT. This happens in the 2023 & 2024, I'm not sure about the 2021 or 2022.
I wonder if it will have an option to ditch the rear leaf springs like the Tacoma does?
I was looking at a 2024, and I am definitely not interested in a 2025 !!!!!!
Integrated Brake controller?........ Tow package without isn't a tow package
Awesome looks of frontier and affordable midsize pickup truck compared to American trucks.
Attractive and useful changes.
They're going to jack up the price too! The reason it's been as successful as it has was the price point.
DIESEL CUMMINS FRONTIER
😂
Idc what it cost but I’d pay to be able to order a manual transmission. I love these new ones but I won’t have one. Every frontier I’ve had has had a manual transmission. Not sure if I’m just goin to try and find a super low mileage 2019 frontier or go pay outta the ass for a Tacoma. I thought for sure Nissan was goin bury Toyota but now until Toyota stops making the stick they’ll always be a little over Nissan in my opinion. Don’t come at me. It’s just a personal preference
NICE TRUCK
I also hope they put the rear overhead ac vents like the Pathfinder
Until you can get it in a regular cab and 8 foot bed it's just a clown truck.
LMFAO😂
Believe it or not. That 3.8 is Mitsubishi's amazing motor mixed with Nissan.
To many electronics to go bad. Ill keep my 2017 SV 2.5. When the new model last 1,000,000 miles Ill think about it. One Datsun 510 and my 3rd Nissan frontier.
I agree with you. I have a 2015 2.5 King Cab with roll up windows. It has 90,000 trouble free miles. I also had an earlier Frontier that my wife loved. I also have owned two 510s, Stanza, a Versa, 2 Altamas so I guess I am a loyal Datsun/Nissan loyalist.
Have all trim levels with full LED lights and a slight lift.
I like my 2012 sv v6. However it is a very thirsty truck. I will wait for the 25 to see if I like it. Otherwise it’s the 24 4 pro.
I have a 2022 pro 4x, and I think it looks better than the 2025 🤷🏽♂️
Longer bed. Put the Zs V6 in it. No turbo.
How could they put anymore features than the 2024 already has. That’s impressive. Can’t lie…. If the truck looks like that first animated pic of the 2025 they showed. Ima be a tad bummed I just bought the 2024. But they never look like the concept
I hope it doesn’t have a crappy CVT in the drivetrain
There is literally no body on frame truck in the United States with a cvt or transverse layout
Go back to the old seats! Whole reason I didn't buy a New Frontier from my 2016 SV was the narrowness of cab and seats!
When will Nissan make a royal cab . A four door plus the extra cab
Yeah sure, don’t forget the $5000 mark up! 😂😂😂😂
Great!!!!!! Now it's going to cost as much as a Tacoma 😢
I like they are adding a turbocharger to the V6
Most of the footage shown is the 2024 model.
Low price tag ,where on any vechile nowdays?
Electric and hybrid are rubbish
They are. They drive horribly. Super heavy. Tires ware out in less than six months by the extreme weight. They are not smooth nor gradual in acceleration, and breaking which hurts. When it’s cold on the 40s or less, they will never get fully charged neither will keep the charges they have left. And mild hills kills the battery INSTANTLY.
Hybrids are powerful and reliable. But I agree electric is worthless for a truck
Only electric fool
Needs a new frame. Definitely a telescopic steering wheel, and power steering not hydraulic. Better ground clearance, superior articulation, and definitely a more advanced LDS, Traction Control, and 4wd
I will stick with the V6 .
They show us 6 different feont looks wtf is that
quit making trucks with stupid lights, and get rid of the fancy crap, that goes for all car makers
One change is that it should have more ground clearance like a truck should have
put your hands on the steering wheel and drive like a man
If Nissan can't fixed all the bugs than might as well don't design or upgrade technology, peoples buy trucks to go to works . Not seeing seats at dealer shops all over America to look pretty . Than Nissan wil not only got big problems in their hands but a bad reputation for flaws, not talking about only lawsuit, yap yap yap is not going to help , either #1 or going home end up last , talking is not a guarantee and proven . If you got no respect for consumers then don't expect in return
Well luckily they have been 0 reports of problems for the 2024 so far. But we’re only half way through 2024
@@danielmclinn5963 listen I work Nissan since 90' and Nissan ignore a lot of transmission problem on every model except for manual transmission until now 2024 ' Nissan put them self for bad reputation, they the one who created this problems for profits, you see ?! Toyota addressed their problem and they get their engineers to get to works to solving problems , instead throw out to consumer to dealing with testing problem and consumer will get angry , for all my years working on Mitsubishi Montero out of 99 vehicle there is only 1 Montero was abused by consumer, why Nissan created their only problem , my family used to own Datsun to , and never once was a problems except for wear and tears . I used to works for Nissan and I expected Nissan like General motor / Chevrolet to do the same , if they can't handle a business than get out of business, why Toyota stay in business for so longs ?! They addressed their mistake and fixed problem not like Nissan see problem and wait for the wind to blow away
