I agree, Tim Reynolds is right up there with all my favorite talents on guitar. Dave is not too bad himself on a few songs, to his singing is the story I want from him..Live version of Some Devil from Radio City Music Hall concert right into Two-Step w/ Tim. Phenomenal. Never but never, EVER, get tired of these two musicians playing those 2 songs side by side..and clearly happy with where the music went that night(2012). What a performance ...
@@Changelingheart Dave's chords and the way he structured things is insane! Even heard Carter in an interview say he had a hard time understanding to play along with what Dave was doing at first.
This is such an amazing song. Reminds me of my dogs who have passed. My husky passed away last night and I played this song in his honor. Dakota RIP 04/2005-08-16-18.
I remember everyone making fun of me listening to dmb, every other 90s band was depressing and then comes Dave and company! What a sound and I've been hooked since 94!
Just saw them live... they opened with this song. What a great act! They sounded great! DMB is one of those groups that NEEDS to put out new material, the music industry is suffering and it needs class acts like them to keep the good stuff going.
you get so used to seeing him with the acoustic, it still throws me off a little bit seeing him with the electric but this, so right, and samurai cop are some of my favorites where he whips out the electric
The instrumental for this song was created while LeRoi was still alive, Dave said that when they were recording the album that Roi really loved the way this song sounded, so it now dedicated to him.

I'm not saying any band member is better than another one, but i think the music along with the lyrics is something special. Especially the video WOW it's so moving.
THIS song LIVE is the balls freakin’ Marie as The Jerky Boys would say. Leroi was so right on this particular track. It’s just one of those tunes that hits so much better live and is DMB funk stank nastiness.
believe it or not, most famous artists have played many small gatherings before becoming famous. its not hard to believe at all. you're lucky to have attended one!
i have a love/hate relationship with dmb. I love absolutely everything about them, and i hate that i will play music for the rest of my life and never. ever. get anywhere near their skillset :)
I wish this band was more popular im 15 and i love DMB and hate all the mainstream shit that is on the radio now, music should convey a strong emotional message not talk about how you slap your bitches and drink alot.

Dave loves hershey's chocolate! When he preforms at hershey he spends the day with his daughters at chocolate world and hershey park! Some times he throws hershey's chocolate syrup in the crowd
One of the best bands you’ll ever see
Tim Reynolds has to be one of the most underrated guitar players of all time.
I believe the drummer is as well!

An amazing song about a fallen friend.
the song was written before he died.
Who died? @@michaelkillen8269
Terrible loss
No other band can even compare to thees instrumentals. So many different instruments. Crazy how they make them all sound complete together.
If you're at a Dave concert you MUST sing along
FUnky gibbon

Baby blue is the song for my dog Max, who passed away 3 years ago.
THE BEST LIVE ACT OUT THERE,PERIOD !!!!!!!
The ONLY good live act out there. Miss LeRoi, but found two musicians who still make this band the BEST!!!!!!!!!
Hank Johnson Blackberry smoke is right there with them tho
David Gray and Maynard are kings as well
Right after Peter Gabriel, I'd agree.
Hank Johnson LMAO
I get chills every time 2:09-2:39 ... especially when they hit that low E at 2:23.
Same here
Why
Tim's solo and Carter's groove and creative drumming are tremendous on this tune.
I LOVE DAVE MATTHEWS BAND!!!!
was at soldier field in 1998 - when dave came out, I never seen 20,000+ people stand all at once and light a joint :)

The new saxophonist does not hold a candle to LeRoi. He will always be the true Groo Grux King.
RIP Grux...

So great to see Dave with a guitar!!
I remember everyone making fun of me listening to dmb, every other 90s band was depressing and then comes Dave and company! What a sound and I've been hooked since 94!

phenomenal. Mr. Coffin is no groo, but shit, he's making him proud. well done Dave, another beauty.
Back when Tom Araya played drums for Dave Matthews Band!
Man can I Identify with his lyrics!!!

He is a Fantastic drummer!
Dude, Tim. WOW.
