I tried on so many different sneakers the Karhus Mestari is the most comfortable shoe for myself for standing and walking. Never heartd of Karhu but the fulcrum design in this shoe helps so much for providing extreme comfort…

I would love to see a series on the benefits of foot shaped shoes: Altra, Topo Athletics, Keen, ATGs' Uncivilized 2.0 and Squat Universities' new shoe👣🦋

Altra, Topo Athletics, and Keen have max cushion options; I am interested in ATGs' Uncivilized 2.0 and Squat Universities' new shoe👣🦋

Yes. The rocker shoulder work for that gait type!

I bought the Fusion 4.0 recently, their supposedly faster shoe, and it comes at 300g in my men’s 9us. So definitely a problem across their range.

My guess is that they are using TPU based foam, which is heavier. A little outdated but certainly durable. I also have the fusion 4.0 and feel similar! -Matt

The fusion 4.0 uses a nitrogen infused foam. Totally different than any of their other foams.
The only shoe in their line that uses a TPU foam is the Synchron. The Synchron is the most durable shoe we sell but it’s also their heaviest and most stable shoe.

@@DoctorsofRunning I believe it's a TPU. I couldn't find any definitive source to say one way or another, but they've used Aerofoam on a lot of their previous models (David and Andrea reviewed the Ikoni which had it back in 2022 I know for sure) and on the website it says that it's more temperature resistant than "standard EVA," which, with that wording and the weight leads me to believe it's a TPU

I verified with our rep. The midsole is nitrogen infused EVA. The fulcrum, which is embedded, is a compression EVA.
