At 15:10, if you look at the mini-map, you can see Dry Bones get combo-d at the start of lap 7, turn around and drive backwards. You can see him to the right when Troy finishes

One addition I think I’d love to see (and that I’m sure exists already in the modding community) is the ability to choose any character with any kart as a combo! It would also make the randomizer so much more chaotic. Lol

A lot of people were having those problems, but I’m not certain if it’s fixed. You should be able to redownload the mod and fix it though. I’m sorry 😭

IF you do the "Can't lose VR only have 3 lives" challenge, you should make the video a flat hour no matter what (or two) so the video length doesn't spoil the outcome. 22 extra minutes of funky dancing or something
That may hurt UA-cam retention stats. It may be better to split it into smaller videos instead
Bad idea, the algorithm punishes videos if people don't watch them all the way through.
Playing this randomizable mode with a crazy speed mod might be fun, or a knockout tournament series like this, it's gonna change up the game and make things interesting.

Imagine a KO series with randomizer. Obviously you can't give the points based on the combos but you could just give raw points. It makes the entire tourney relatively even because it is rng dependent if you get a good combo or not.

Is it possible to run the newerst Update on Dolphin Emulator? Or is it necessary to have the Retro Rewind Channel on the Wii?
A road to 9999vr with random combos would be really good. It was my favourite series on the channel and I would love to see it come back!

This format is so cool. I hope to see more of this. I also hope that one day he could set up races with even more advanced customization possibilities kind of like how MKT does themes. Also hope this randomization mod could be combined with item rain or some other CTGP format.

This is exactly what I've been looking for! Wii has some of my favourite kart designs of any mk game and I've hated how unviable they are, seeing this much variety is healing to my soul

Remember, Troy, the Super Blooper has similar stats to the Magikruiser except heavier, with all the stat adjustments that naturally come with that. Same with the Tiny Titan actually. What a coincidence that you got both its kart counterparts back to back!

The ctgp monopoly on mkw will soon be over and I can’t be happier. Retro rewind is a blessing, all we need now is a distribution with original custom tracks that includes the same features as retro rewind and we’re golden

this might be a crazy idea, but you should do a tournament series with this randomizer. it would add an aspect of luck that could be really exciting and still playable because of the inside drift karts and purple MTs

i'm still pretty new to distributions, custom tracks and whatnot, but retro rewind has become my favourite FOR SURE. the amount of effort ZPL put into this is unbelievable!

I just had a 7 race 1st place win with Rosalina Sneeker on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 200cc Tournament tonight which is kind of shocking despite me never usually doing well, I'm usually having to play from the back but tonight I was on a tear. So happy! What a great day of racing.

42:10-42:22 Everything was luck on Troy’s side throughout the whole video until that unexpected twist of events! This track definitely needs to be edited and modified by ZPL…if he’s the one responsible for designing this track!
I hope the next update would be randomized items, if Retro Rewind allows, so that there could be a KO on randomized items with randomized characters and vehicles. Should be interesting.
Now what if we combined the "random combo every race" idea with a Knockout tournament? This would make for some wacky and INSANE moments in Mario Kart Wii.
Can you do knockout tournaments with retro rewind? It would be really cool to see an inside drift kart only knockout (maybe even 200cc?) with almost every mariokart track ever in the series. If not a full series at least a one day knockout.
Wait till Nintendo does it their way on the new Mario kart then all retro rewind and CTGP and MOGI lounges will be erased
