  • In April 2021 I had the opportunity to return to my maternal roots via a welcoming home ceremony in the #Balanta village of Gà Tone. Thanks to #africanancestry.com; Dr Gina Paige, and Dr. Rick Kitties. Special thanks to Randy Williams aka Catio Bissau.

      Sorry, but I am from here born and raised and I can tell you that most of the population here feels very afraid of the police, maybe not exactly because of skin colour, and sometimes they will even be the one robbing your house at night.

    My PatriClan test came back as Fula people in Guinea-Bissau 🇬🇼 and I am looking to make my trip to the country and have a good time.
    It’s actually a beautiful country and not something described by American and European media.
