The secret is that Maliketh has a crippling addiction to death-weed. As a public figure at the time, Maliketh needed to keep this highly illegal activity a secret, until one day the tarnished and crucible knights under Godfrey discovered Farum Azula, named after Malikeths favourite avatar character. Maliketh panicked, and to cover up his connection, shattered the place across the continent, summoned a tornado and a horde of dragons to finish the job. Unfortunately for him his DNA was found on a stray death dealer and he was exiled anyway. And that’s the deal with crumbling farum azula
Lansseax was a fight I enjoyed though. The fact that her fight abruptly stops and she leaves essentially only for me to find her elsewhere to actually get to fight her without her bailing on the fight was a neat idea..
Thank God, I really needed this. My cat is being put down later today and it's been really tough. Thanks for giving me a good laugh in a dark time, Dark Tark
The scariest goddamn moment in any souls game for me was realizing that there are Godwyn eyes EVERYWHERE in Farum Azula. Every goddamn root in the zone has those awful half-lidded fish eyes, always watching you...
I wonder if Godwyn's tumours being present in Farum can be explained by the timey-wimey shit... Or if there's any chance Farum Azula was still grounded at the time of Godwyn's Erdtree Burial?
@@hugostefaniu No. Just...no. This place is from" The time before the Erdtree" ,and it fell either before or because of Marika and Godfrey. Godwyn's death likely has something to do with death in general changing ( the Death Ritual Spear describing a " distant ressurection " the death priests were waiting for and such) ,but he came after the place fell. It's likely his effect goes beyond the Erdtree, in the same way the Sun and the Eclipse is somehow connected to his salvation and that of his fellow Soulless siblings. After all, the Beast skeletons bear the Sun Realm Shield.
Yeah, I like it tbh.... It's a crumbling city in the sky beyond time where you get to fight the creature who holds the power to restore death to the lands between... Nice 👌😏 Just very fitting to have that fight be there..
In my opinion, the creepiest thing about wormfaces is that their legs aren't positioned below their centre of mass, making all their animations look jarring and unnatural.
Crumbling Farum Azula may once have been located on the ground in Dragonbarrow. There's a bridge there called Farum Greatbridge. Also there's the Bestial Sanctum which is clearly connected to the beastmen and contains Maliketh, who is later found in Farum Azula. Also it's called Dragonbarrow and it's where the most dragons are outside of Farum Azula.
I find it pretty interesting how you took this video a lot more seriously than your previous Elden Ring videos. I am not against it in any way, in fact, I'd be very interested to see more videos like this.
Actually nvm upon rewatch u are correct but the jokes in this one are more unhinged there’s just a lot less of them like that joke about eating humans caught me insanely off guard and had me dying
I think another strong connection between CFA and Stormveil castle is the reappearance of both the knights and the birds in both places. Admittedly, the knights and the birds also show up in castle sol, so maybe they just like castles

Just wanted to say I just found your channel and I’m obsessed with your Elden Ring videos. The mix of comedy and actual serious lore is great and I genuinely think your channel will be big one day. Keep it up!
For those who are curious about that dragon guy in a suit. He says "Good day, can I ask for 4 PLN? Thank you" in polish I don't understand that joke either, by the way
This dudes editing is amazing please keep up quality content like this. I don’t think I’ve laughed at just editing alone. Jokes are spot on to. Much love bro 🙏
The draconic tree sentinel used his triple-hit lighting attack through the fog wall and it knocked me off the edge of the arena in my first playthrough.
4:45 that comes in the same boxes my vanilla simple syrup I put in my Dr. Peppers came in and I was like " THAT'S WHERE IT KEEPS GOING! " for a moment.
Me walking into the arena with a giant fridge-size hammer and Bernahl with a taxidermized snake on a stick, fighting two One Piece characters in a temple floating in the sky. Truly a unique experience.
CFA used to be part of the main continent, with the Wormfaces from Altus lining up with the ones from Azula. The architecture of the place you feed death roots to the Beast Clergyman is that of Azula, suggesting it was connecting Altus to Caelid and even Limgrave.
Crumbling Farum Azula is a pretty accurate representation of Kansas. Filled to the brim with tornadoes and stray dogs
And also crumbling infrastructure
We're not in Kansas, anymore...
And also dragons
😮💨 and birds....
Dorothy is that you?

Truly a prepare to cry :(
That's canon, it's in the lore.
Vaatividya got to make a video on this
Placidusaax uses lightning, Azula uses lightning. CONNECTION?!!
Dude *finally* it makes sense, thanks for laying it all out like that I was totally lost
This "What's the deal with" series is truly one of the Elden Ring walkthroughs on youtube.
Maliketh still has not returned his neighbour's lawn mower -.-"
The ancient Polish dragon asking for 4 PLN got me good xDDD
Me too, holy shit😂
Panie, daj panie złotówkę proszę
Jin dobre 😂
It's too good
POLSKA!!! NUMERO UNO!
Never forget, that Vyke got with one of those dragons in this crumbling cookie. That's canon, it's in the lore.
and the dragon gave him her brother's lightning attack instead of her own. kinda weird if you ask me
He was a fucking bard
Lansseax was a fight I enjoyed though. The fact that her fight abruptly stops and she leaves essentially only for me to find her elsewhere to actually get to fight her without her bailing on the fight was a neat idea..

I don't understand that joke either, by the way
You won't buy any good cheap alcohol for that in Poland anyway.
Your theory with the Wormface is probably correct, considering that part of Altus is above Deeproot depths, and Goldwyn’s rotting body
"And one of Placidusax's heads was cut off in the process"
Bayle: There's two, actually
What if the Wormfaces are reanimated Beastmen, and the forest in Altus is an ancient unmarked Beastman burial site
Fun fact In the dlc Bayle ( the dragon ) has one of plasidisaxx’s heads on its back , so somehow the dragons could travel between the two worlds(?)
The Polish Dragon bit killed me instantly. Blessed be the Darkest of Tarks 🙏
The drake goon joke aged very well
Dragon asking for 4 PLN caught me off guard.
Watching this for the thumbnail alone.
yo this is a good one man, I think you got some great lore theories
