I'm a senior in highschool and I haven't been consistently active since freshman year. I just tried to do a beginner workout and realized I need to start way way slower. I will try this.

Thank you for this workout. I’m shocked that it is difficult for me to do because I used to be quite fit. It is a very gentle beginning and perfect for a lot of people like me.😊

Hi, is this an introduction or it's enough to start this (not sure...looks like a short ad ) ?!

I hit 200 pounds, so I started looking for a "never exercised before" video. This is the first one the UA-cam search algorhythm gave me. I was initially intrigued, but I later found out there are some things that need to be said about this routine.
In this video, he claims the routine will take 10-15 minutes. When I made a follow-along video of this routine based on his suggested reps and sets, my video came in at more than 27 minutes long. By the time I was at the towel exercise, I had already been exercising for about 16 minutes. That leads me to two more points. First, there is nothing in the video or the description that says what equipment is needed. He not only uses a towel but also water bottles as dumbbells and some sort of ball over his head. These should at least be listed in the description. Second, some of the exercises are cut short and do not show the entire rep, particularly the towel exercise. So, there are things about this video that will put off an absolute beginner.
On looking closer at his description, this video is a commercial to pay for his on-line services. That is not necessarily a bad thing in and of itself. One can pay him $7 a month to follow along to his videos, but it costs $13 a month (plus another $50 a year, which they don't tell you in the commercials) for Planet Fitness. You'll have to decide if this passes cost/benefit analysis for you. For me, personally, if you want to sell me something, you'd better make sure your sample doesn't make me turn away. After I get in the habit of exercising using this video, I do plan on seeking other providers.

Thank you for this but, I don't recall seeing any warm-up stretches to begin exercising, is it no longer necessary?

The first set is warm ups that gently stretch the muscles :)
