Dude a 36k vehicle is over 40k w all the taxes and fees. At the dealership its gonna be 2-4k higher bc they got their dealer equipment in the car and then with all the taxes and all your paying 44-46k for this car. Your better off w the Telluride

Just traded in my ‘21 for a ‘24 and I couldn’t be happier!! I actually hated the 2021 and I was leaning toward a Telluride. But this package is basically the little sister to the Telluride. I love it! Drives smooth, feels and looks very classy and it doesn’t look like a van!!! The blackout rims and grill look beautiful and I get lots and lots of compliments. I chose the black on black and honestly, I chose right. Beautiful SUV!
@@jayysloth7804 only issue I have had (knock on wood) was a nail in my tire! And even then, Kia took 100% care of it, with zero out of pocket for me! A guy came and put my spare on within a half hour, and 4 days later I had a new tire. Even got all my fluids topped off and a car wash….FOR FREE! I have no complaints at all! My Kia still runs as if it’s brand new. I’m still a very happy customer. I will end this saying that loan terms are outrageous right now, and payments are high, even though I got a stellar deal. I think I’m paying about $100 less per month than most others. It’s still asinine and our country needs to stop forcing our people into bankruptcy. 🤭

I had a 2015 Sorento with a regular V6. Gas milage was not great. But what pushed me to get rid of it was a recall notice that said park it outside in case it might catch on fire. Turns out the ABS module had power applied to it even when the car was off and could short internally and cause a fire. Traded for it 2020 regular V6 Highlander. Great car. And I will take money that my naturally aspirated V6 will be running long past these turbo 4’s that Toyota has decided to replace them with. Raiti does a great job of reviewing design and features, but he rarely comments on longevity and long term reliability. I will not go back to Kia. I plan to keep this Highlander for at least 200K.

Hi Joe! Great 24 Sorento refresh review! Question: will the refreshed Sorento Hybrid still have the "utility mode" feature that allows owners to sleep in the car and have the climate control (AC/heat) running off the hybrid battery-- then said hybrid battery gets recharged by the gas engine (just like the Toyota hybrids)? Many Toyota owners have been using this style of tech for years for car camping with climate control on. Hopefully the upcoming Sorento Hybrid will have this "camp mode" style feature!!🎉🎉
The price is very good, $36k is an excellent bang for your buck for this size SUV and 30's MPG on the highway is very good also. Nice sized instruments and infotainment and it looks more built into the dash instead of stuck on with bubblegum. If money is tight and you have kids this family hauler is a no brainer IMO.
I like the Sorentos. They are one of the only SUV's that I would consider to be mid-sized. You either go compact or large clumsy large vehicle. I need more space but I don't need to drive a boat either.

X-Line vs X-Pro question. Do you know what was done to the X-Pro to give it the additional towing capacity? I know the tire and wheel sizes are different but that shouldn't affect the towing capacity. Suspension? Tuning? Tranny cooler? please explain why the X-Pro cost $1000 more and tows more. Thank you

I think it would've made more sense to compare this to the 24 Santa Fe rather then the highlander. I think these two upgrades will be favorites for years to come. Long term reliability will always be a question. Good thing they both have the 10yr/100k warranty. Thanks for the video as always.
May seem good. But how long does it last and how fast does it lose its value. Because the Toyota holds its value and is reliable for years. My last Korean vehicle lost the engine at 280k

Don't like the headlights on the Sorento, don't like the tail lights in the Santa FE. But Santa Fe takes the top dog spot. That new design is amazing, and column mounted shifter makes the front row interior much more cleaned up and usable. Would have been nice is both had gotten a slightly higher output/battery+motor for the hybrid

Kia just screwed me over so much I just gave up. The oil consumption issue that Kia knew about but gave every excuse not to fix. I’m loving 🥰 my Jeep however… getting close to 600 miles on a tank of gas ⛽️ highway. Granted I drive like Jessica Tandy in driving Miss Daisy 🌼 but it’s far better than the Kia suv 🚙 I test drove. Good Luck out there in Kia world 🌎.
I have a 2023 Santa Fe SEL, and it's interesting to see the little things here and there that I prefer on the Sorento. Not many, but there are a couple. I wonder when Kia will get the next gen counterpart to the Santa Fe.
KIA: More features for the money. Best Warranty. Prefer the Turbo-charged engine. Can come with the largest Sunroof on the market. Good to know about the options in the Row 2 Bench, with individual seat options (slide, recline). Thanks, Dude!
The black wheel well guards are pretty ugly but they stop rock chips from forming, and they are replaceable. So they don't completely suck, I guess. ✌️💙
It is nice however the safety caution is high compared to chairy all steel china gov emplyees prefered cars or executive special limited edition product line production that might be even bullet proof too.nice robots to come or even flying cars.
Please review Kia after owned for 100k miles. Many asian still like Toyota, Honda because little things don't far out after 120k miles. Kia parts cannot keep up like that, little things fall out and keep repair minor issue. Just use kia till warranty out and sell it. But I think is better than American cars that is why many are buying Kia.

No, a Kia is not better than a Toyota, Honda or Subaru. Kia & Hyundai’s reliability is spotty. Some last a long time and others engines & transmissions randomly blow up.
Toyota grand highlander have transmission issues,tundra having turbo issues. RAV4 was having hybrid battery issues. Camry XSe have panoramic roof issues. That what you called better? Honda accord had head gasket issues, right the the pilots having a major recall. 😂😂😂
Sorry to hear about your stuff and what your diblings did. That sounded like some deep hurt going on there. Have you seen a therapist? Should we worry? Though....going on throttle on a daily basis is some good therapy!

I don't think those brake lights are LED. I'm pretty sure you only get LED on the top trim.
