Thanks so much for keeping it real. Not all days are good days for us ladies. Can't wait for the next instalment
Thank you so much for watching. I do think it’s important to share the not so good days on the Camino. So that it is realistic - so people when they do get out there and things aren’t a massive shock or surprise.
@@toughgirlchallenges I totally agree 🌱💚
Absolutely love your content, your content is so diverse and simply enjoyable!
Thank you so much. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch on comments.🥳
There are more of clogs going live every Wednesday and Friday from my UK hikes which I did a couple of months ago
love that you go from being a Kevin or a Karen to a running goddess having the best time of your life 😂
am I a Karen?!!!!!!
Hi, loving your vlogs! Do you wear that gear whatever hike you are doing? Asking because I wear hiking boots but the trend is towards trail shoes and thinking I might change.
I think the word ‘modern’ probably is the most important word here! I have some hikes planned for 2024 in Scotland.
I have always worn boots but when they get wet, they take an age to dry! I have yet to find a successfully waterproof Gortex boot no matter how much I pay.
From what I can gather, yes you get wet footwear but the trail ones dry out quickly. By using seal skin socks one could keep their feet dry or change socks through the day. Thnx for your input. 😊
All my gear is Inov8- I’ve worn both of their trail runners and their walking boots.
The main reason most people wear trainers is because they are so much lighter. I think it depends on your feet.
I really enjoyed wearing hiking boots when I did the Wales Coast Path - 2022, but they are new hiking boots and they are super lightweight and supportive. I would not wear old, leather hiking boots, which weigh a lot. With the amount of miles that you’re doing it really impacts on your legs and your feet. It is personal preference though and you have to go with what works for you. I think testing it out is a good idea and seeing how you get on you can always go back to your boots if it doesn’t work.
Can I ask what shoes you wear please? You seem to do high mileage with no foot issues….I’m sure this is because you’re a very experienced hiker but would love to know your shoe brand. Thanks. Lucy
Hi Lucy, I’m wearing Inov8 trainers. If you look in the main description of all of the UA-cam videos there is more information. There is also a link to a 15% discount code which you can use. I’ve been wearing inov8 trainers for years now and I’ve had no issues with them. They really do suit my feet. However, everybody’s feet are very different.
And it’s very personal - the best that I would recommend is for you to test them out and see how you get on. 🥳
Well, the Koreans wanted a photo taken with you because you look like a movie star, obviously!
Exactly!!! 😂😂😂😂
