ahhh thank you so much!! reading UA-cam comments can be brutal. I really appreciate your kind words. Hope you get to experience a camino in the future. New vlogs will be coming soon from New Zealand and the SWCP. It takes me a while to get caught up with editing.

The knee crunching at the end freaked me out!! I don't know why as mine sounds the same.
I've been thinking you're getting sick the last few days on the trail. I hope not.
    I'm loving the street art!

I forgot I shared that!!! (The knee crunching) 😂😂😂😂 I think the lack of sleep was making me ill. I do get better. There were just a few days where I didn’t feel at my best! I love seeing street art - makes me super happy 😃

Hello, good afternoon and receive big hugs from Ejea de los Caballeros (ZARAGOZA) what great and pleasant memories this video brings to me when watching it, because this same route of the French Camino de Santiago is the one I did in August 2021

Sorry I missed you in Spain Sarah. I was about a week ahead of you. Hoping your Camino transitions to a better experience for you. Looking forward to seeing you through it. (Tough Girl Tribe) I just loved my Camino and appreciate your filming the same path, same season! looking forward to Camino Primitivo and New Zealand trip reports! A Camino friend stayed at that donativo and loved it. I did not and was glad I didn't. I am with you about personal space and eating. I ate most of my big meals while restaurants were open until 3 and had a snack in the evening. Less "communal" but ok for me.

Hey hey! I hope it brings back some good memories for you!!! I’m on the Camino primitivo at the moment. It’s funny to watch the vlogs back!! Each to their own when it comes to places like that. It wasn’t for me - but I know for other people it would have been a highlight from the whole Camino! I now have a big meal at lunch time and snacks before bed and seems to be working for me. I’m only wheat free this time - which is making the food easier! Thanks for being a member of the TGT!!! Xx

Can I just say, Sarah.....this IS the YT Camino guide I'll use as a reference/ guide when I do the Camino in 2026. ( I'm giving myself two years to learn a smattering of French and a lot of Spanish. And I need two years to learn Spanish because I'm not the brightest of Brad Pitt look-a-lot- likies ). (Fingers crossed that no one who knows me reads that last bit ). Because of this video I feel like I've just been given the most relaxing massage.......EVER! Gone are the images of that backbreaking, knee destroying mountain trek to Roncevalles. [ For me, now ] that part of the Camino will be all parasols and Jane Austen heroine-esque hats- what's my being a bloke got to do with anything?!! Hey?!! So thank you for calming me down. And thank you for the fascinating world of your dietary needs. And I thought i had problems!! I don't eat simply because I don't like: bread; dairy products - well, cheese, really; seafood; sweets/ desserts; all meat products, too. Thank god for potatoes and drugs!! I'm kidding , Sarah. I wouldn't dare touch potatoes. ( Fingers crossed that no one who knows me reads this dribble ). Last thing Sarah. Did you learn Spanish and/ or French for the Camino? If you relied on English was English usable when shopping and bars/ cafes?

I know very little Spanish. Apart from hello, good morning, thank you. The majority of people will speak English especially on the French way. I do speak a bit of French. Again just the basics. Hello, how are you, my name is. Et cetera. Don’t let language barriers. Hold you back. There’s things like Google translate these days. And you will learn while you’re walking. And a smile always helps. as well as pointing at things. You can get by without knowing Spanish or French.

Beautiful video! It’s always interesting to see someone so fortunate to have the time & money to walk across Spain for an entire month, and then complain the entire time 😢.

Thanks so much for watching - I appreciate you taking the time to comment. At the end of the day - these are the realities that I experienced and wanted to share. Not everyday on a walk/hike is going to be epic and perfect - you can't just share the good times on social media (in my opinion). I want to show what it was like - for me - which also includes the not so good moments. Otherwise when people do go on their hike/walk/challenge/adventure - they are going to get a shock - when things don't go to plan, they can't find a bed, they are tired and it's just not enjoyable or fun.

No offense but if you don't like to be in close proximity to strangers why did you choose to stay in an albergue and even more one that is well known for those sleeping arrangements? I think maybe you should have chosen to stay in private accommodations and leave the albergue beds for those who want to stay in a communal environment.
BTW, I've walked the Camino eight different times, different routes.

thanks so much for watching. congratulations on the caminos - 8 is fantastic!!! It comes down to money - I would love to stay in a private rooms every night!!!! but budget doesn't allow for it!!! I do like the communal environment and chatting with other pilgrims - but I also like sleep

With that hoarse voice that you have, I imagine that your throat must have cooled down, I advise you to take a chamomile with Anís de Las Cadenas in the morning, which is very good for the throat and if not, a black coffee, accompanied by a shot of pomace

Wow, no attempt whatsoever to try to correctly pronounce Spanish correctly, The butchering of ‘Albergue’ is cringeworthy.
