@@MiddletonMotorsports i bet so !! Though, im not a track kinda guy it would pretty much become my daily driver. Looking forward to seeing more vids of it in the future my man
What is the reason for not downsizing to like a 2.8 pulley? Just the use of the car? Heat? Just curious because I am getting ready to start modifying my 2020 GT500.
Matt, the owner of this car does lots of HDPE events where keeping the motor cool and safe is the number 1 priority. Yes it can make more power for a drag strip situation, but when doing 25 minute sessions at Road America, motor safety is #1.
@@MiddletonMotorsports thanks for the explanation. I am going to be doing a mix of things with mine. Mostly autocross and drag style racing. So I'll keep that in mind. Maybe I'll just go with two tunes since pulleys are easy to swap out on these
These are forged internals from factory. Chuck has almost 10,000 miles on his green car and most of them are track and hard driven miles still making close to 900whp. Having a good tune is key for these cars. The transmission’s are very strong and far from Subaru stuff.
Another great video guys. Keep it up! 👍
Thanks!!
Well done. Keep on, keeping on.
Thanks, will do!
I would love to come to your shop to watch you all do a pull. 🙏 That is my dream to see the GT500 doing a pull
Im moving to Az next December and hoping to God i have more money saved up i can potentially pick one of these bad boys up
Love these cars. Impressive on track at drag strip and just cruising around. Such a good car for the price.

Why can’t the GT500 fuel pumps be used in a boosted GT set up ? Everyone wants you to spend 3000 dollars on a return style fuel system.
The stock 500s have a dual pump setup. The GTs are single pump.
how do you get a gt500 on e85? injectors only?
Yes
Can you tune to set up to run E85 and 93?
There’s no flex fuel sensors/capabilities on the 500 at the moment with HP tuners
Its prob like e70.
But this sells me, I'm getting rid of the subie. It's been fun but it's at 563 wheel and just, I'm sick of the platform.
Straight E 85
