Nope. Landing nose first is never good, no matter how smooth it looks. It's still wrong. Rear suspension isn't set up for jumps it shows . Cool rig, but not a trophy truck or pre runner.

Anyone who doesn’t upgrade the exhaust on these first prior to the blower install is just asking for disaster. At least a high flow y-pipe…No matter who you are, or how you drive, there will be a point when it melts a cat and the engine is blown… Heard 55 stories, and they all end up with melted cats and a blown engine. Especially with the stage 2 kits. I get the ‘24’s with having no custom tuning available, but still. It’s a recipe for disaster. Put a kit on, keep it mild and drive it with some bra*ns, it might hold up for a while. If it’s beat on or used like a truck should be, its life will be shortened. I just did a Predator blower swap on a ‘21. First thing we did was 2M long tubes and high flow cats. Then added a VMP street brick and their lid to further longevity. Last thing will be a deep cast aluminum trans pan and a front mount trans fluid cooler. When you build any vehicle you can’t have the cart before the horse… it never ends well.

Uh-oh. I have Whipple’s new gen 6 1r waiting. I asked Whipple what about hi how cats. Whipple said: ”we develop everything on all else stock”, inferring you (me) do other things at my own risk. Thus direct from Whipple do not the FP700. I am not a drag racer. Is there something else I need to do with a tune (from who?) or hardware wise? Thanks!
