The Video is a very good one. I like the added notes and tool used. The part Number for the belt used would have helped me when ordering. Links below video to each part would have helped me buy it faster. I had to call and talk to someone not veryt knowledgeable. It was like calling in for help at Miocrosoft, they read the info from a manual or online. I made my purchase because of Jermey and the video
So the gt500 supercharger heat exchanger is inline with the radiator? Or was I looking at the hose routing wrong, I seen the small hose going to the degas tank on the driverside shock tower. Then it looks like it routes around to the front of the big degas tank.
The OEM coolant reservoirs have a MIN and MAX mark. Once you have used the air lift to bleed the air out, it is safe to top off the system without the worry of air trapped deep within the system.
We prefer the HP RTD for that platform, but may be able to support your goals with SCT. It really depends on your kit and goals. Email us at sales@vmpperformance.com or give us a call at the shop to discuss it in detail to see if we could serve your needs.
It really depends on your specific goals and what fuel you intend to run. We offer a few options and would be happy to talk in depth with you about what your goals are. Give us a call at 321 206 9369!
It is! Also, we sell a pulley that is the same size as stock if someone ever needs to go down to stock boost levels. But in the event of needing to return the vehicle to stock, the factory pulley can be re-installed.
We prefer using the Air-Lift specifically because it prevents any air pockets from being trapped in the system. The heat exchanger's coolant system is especially complicated and it just prevents issues with bleeding it.
This man rules.
Although can’t afford the GT500 I do have an Odin with 10 rib kit on my 2011 mustang 😅. Keep up the great work
Thanks for choosing VMP!

Great video. What is the part number for the supercharger pulley snout gasket?

It would be nice if you guys had a list of all the tools needed 🙂!
How do you know you filled the coolant back to the proper level after using the air lift system?

I would really like to stay away from getting a HP tuner to tune a Bossted 19 GT would there be any other turner you guys could work with?

What kind of superchargers do you all have or what would work well with a regular 2v mustang gt 4.6 slightly modified
Hi William. Unfortunately, we do not offer anything for the 2v 4.6 L platform.
I have your Lid already but want to upgrade to a better intercooler and pulley! What size would you recommend? @vmp

Do smaller pulleys require a tune?
Hi Nyckolas! Yes, as the fueling needs to be adjusted for the increased boost.
Is the old pulley reusable
It is! Also, we sell a pulley that is the same size as stock if someone ever needs to go down to stock boost levels. But in the event of needing to return the vehicle to stock, the factory pulley can be re-installed.
Even better thanks! Also is the Air lifter cooling system required or is there another option ?

Here's a link to the tool itself: www.amazon.com/UView-550000-Airlift-Cooling-Checker/dp/B0002SRH5G
@@VMPPerformanceTV but you mentioned that the cover is not reusable at 6:00
