Autonerdz ROCKS! I know that Autonerdz was the first to introduce PicoScope to the automotive industry here in North America. That was back at the turn of the century, I think. Recently heard of a new head nerd at the helm and really jazzed to see you taking up the torch and keeping on the mission. Good video.
Have you ever found a situation where 1 mil samples was not enough to capture what you need? I am currently debating on whether I should set my default rate at 1 or 2 million samples per second. Thanks!
Hello Keith. Yes, there are instances were 1MS/s(Million Samples per second) is not enough. Data bus diagnostics is a good example. When a network may have a 1MHz or greater operating frequency "The Nyquist theorem specifies that a sinuisoidal function in time or distance can be regenerated with no loss of information as long as it is sampled at a frequency greater than or equal to twice per cycle." Which would mean a 1MHz signal needs to be sampled at 2MHz or more. 2MHz aka 2MS/s.
First off I'm new to pico scope. I Just bought the 4425a and had a question on the newest software. I am so use to seeing min and max on my snappy scopes. I was wondering of the new pico software offers this live function.
The Picoscope Automotive software will give you min/max values. To display the min/max of a signal you need to open the measurements menu and choose what channel you want to measure and for what. Keep your eyes open for a video on this topic.
@@autonerdz game changer... I love this pico even more. Thank you.... BTW: i didnt buy pico from autonerdz but i can i have access to your pico community ? monthly charge ?

This is on a 4425?
Yes, this video was made with a 4425 or 4425A.
Awesome! I noticed a typo. In the overlay it shows a 4452A instead of a 4425A
That is what happens when you get excited about making your first UA-cam video.
