This might actually be one of the first gated fuzzes I actually liked. It doesn't sputter too much, which is nice. Really, really like how this one sounds.
Was just watching a video you made 5 years ago. I knew you lost weight but I have never seen it back to back like this, man what an accomplishment! Good for you, and for us, this way we get to keep you around much longer.
Hi Rabea the Pedal sounds awesome , as soon as you added the reverb it came to life , also I've just started using a stereo rig , and I'm never going back it has given me so much inspiration , and that's not a bad thing. Thanks Rabea
This adds some serious depth to your sonic landscapes man...I can see you using this ridiculously dark fuzz! Almost like they made it with you in mind...great job .. congratulations on all of your success..!
Hi Rabea, great video! Just wanted to add that "vespa" means wasp in Portuguese. So, probably not an Italian motorcycle reference, just a different kind of bee 🐝 :)
Mine just arrived. Awesome company with amazing customer service and fast shipping all over the world. KICK ASS PEDAL. Not really designed to be a lead pedal, but does what it does perfectly (rhythm, chunk).
Wow. Beetronics could not have asked for a better, more honest, articulate and kick-ass product review/endorsement. Rabea just killed it! Extra credit for fuzz-appropriate "rock god" facial expressions.
I really like it. I'm currently using an EHX Octavix, but the ease of bringing octave in and out of the signal in this pedal is compelling. Just might have to give it a go.
The stank faces are what truly sold me haha! I have a velcro gated fuzz I'm not super thrilled with, but thinking with the octave feature and listening to this, I might need to sell that and look to get one of these!
Super late to the party here, but love your videos Bea, would love to here the stinger side used panned hard to one side in a stereo multi fuzz pedal sound, blending in that as a highlight flavor fuzz!! Thanks again for all the work you put in, seriously appreciated. Cheers
I like 10-52 in drop C on Gibson scale. Been loving a slinking feel. Rhet Shull did an impromptu demo of this the other day. Dig it. For the longest, I've used an MXR Slash octave fuzz. Independent volumes for sub and upper. And can put sub through the fuzz. Could use a clean blend if I could add anything. Cheers
Thanx for a great video. I have an original material Prog Metal trio so my requirements are not too different than yours. It is heaven when you review a pedal because I do not get expensive disappointments when I order one :-)
you aren't first.. you're last. Curious little pedal, sounds like it has some interesting tones it can provide. Certainly would work well in a doom chain
Thanks for the awesome vid. Can you (or does anyone know) share your amp set-up, or do you have a UAFX amp pedal to go with the others that you have used to record? Thanks!
Would I bee (hehe) wrong if I said that this pedal on the more open settings (atleast) retains unusual chord definition? Just my impression...am I wrong?
I would have liked to hear what it sounds like when fed with a clean signal. My feeling is as you are feeding it with an already driven setting it was probably choking it more.
Best purchase decision I ever made for mixing and general listening experience. They’re expensive, and when you’re buying monitors at those kinda prices it’s a serious investment. I was slightly dubious since Neumann aren’t know for speakers, yet for microphones. Since the technology between speakers and microphones is so similar, it makes sense That Neumann would absolutely smash it out of the park.
I have one, and it sounds so thin. To get any thick sounds, you have to put the gain on full. I was expecting better. I am a gated fuzz lover, and this one sadly doesn't stack up. I wanted to really like it.
Bea playing in drop B through Beetronics. I'll be! Beautiful.
Thank you for this!
Nice
b b b b b
Elite humble humor.
Albeit!
The involuntary smirk of joy when he mentioned the SLO 100 was hilarious.
This might actually be one of the first gated fuzzes I actually liked. It doesn't sputter too much, which is nice. Really, really like how this one sounds.
I'm with you! Wish it had a low-gain setting though for a more "vintage" feel. It would be nice to have a toggle for that.
The tone at 7:40 was sick! Nastiest and most psychedelic tone I've heard in a while.
Monster Magnet sound
Les Paul in Drop Bee...
I don't believe anyone made the joke yet. Awesome pedal, as expected from Beetronics.
Was just watching a video you made 5 years ago. I knew you lost weight but I have never seen it back to back like this, man what an accomplishment! Good for you, and for us, this way we get to keep you around much longer.
I wish they offered the color you got, very nice with the green gold look.
Love the Canadian dinner jacket. :-)
I know these things obviously sound incredible but DAMN they know how to make a good looking bit of kit!

Hahahaha some pockets of knowledge sail right passed me I swear! Hahah. Consider me educated!
It means wasp in Italian too:)
Yes, vespa is also Italian, in fact the moped is called Vespa because of the buzz of the motor!
The Italian motorcycle got its name Vespa out of its big wasp like bum too 😉
I think it would be safe to assume that Matt Pike approves of the Les Paul riffage.
Great sounding fuzz pedal.
11:00 YES humbuckers! sounds killer
Just got one of these, such a sick fuzz. Awesome demo!
I want to say I just got my first proper fuzz and I think I will always be this excited to check out new fuzz :D

NASTINESS glorious Nastiness
Great review and pedal man !
Ha...the look at 12:00! Priceless. Cool.sounding.pedal.
Thanks again Rabea for the content and the great playing
Love the flannel and love that nasty drop b run with the octave on.
Sounds really great!

That sounds absolutely INSANE!
Hi Rabea. I just subscribed and I’m digging your channel.
That tone at 7:30 gave me the fizz 😃 sounds awesome.
Sick looking pedal! 😍
Sounds killer per usual!
Vezzpa. Reminds me of Vespula Maculata. Bald faced hornet. Notoriously wicked hornets.
Strat neck/neck-middle position in D-standard with aggressive fuzz= God tier tone
The stank faces are what truly sold me haha! I have a velcro gated fuzz I'm not super thrilled with, but thinking with the octave feature and listening to this, I might need to sell that and look to get one of these!
Brilliant demo. Beetronics just kill it
All the right faces from the fuzz. The hallmark of any good pedal.
Just checking some Beetronics stuff I found this! Nice pedals. BUT... WHAT AN INCREDIBLE GUITAR PLAYER!!! WOW!
I just bought one. Sounds so epic! I’m not even a fuzz guy and it just krushes!
just bought the reverb limited edition, but the thing i needed more than the pedal is this video
Mine’s in the mail, HYPED
Damn that creates some real dirt. After hearing that neck pick up octave fuzz I want one too.
Super late to the party here, but love your videos Bea, would love to here the stinger side used panned hard to one side in a stereo multi fuzz pedal sound, blending in that as a highlight flavor fuzz!! Thanks again for all the work you put in, seriously appreciated.

You look great Bea!! and awesome review !

Beeast should be a good name for their next upcoming pedal!
God bless anyone who does fuzz pedal demos and recognises that people want to hear some doom riffs and not just blues shredding.
Vespula is the latin family name for wasp!
The look on his face at 12:00 says it all.😂😂😂
Fuzz yeah!
Reliced pedals, let's goooo!
Edit: 10:40 made me ride my dragon toward the crimson eye
Man of culture i see
Thanx for a great video. I have an original material Prog Metal trio so my requirements are not too different than yours. It is heaven when you review a pedal because I do not get expensive disappointments when I order one :-)
Nice one !,
I've got a hard time choosing between this and the fulltone octafuzz
11:59, omg! filthy
🐝🔥🐝🔥🐝🔥🐝🔥🐝😮
What a pedal BEEast !!!
you aren't first.. you're last. Curious little pedal, sounds like it has some interesting tones it can provide. Certainly would work well in a doom chain
When Bea gurns, you know its good sh*t!
Thanks for the awesome vid. Can you (or does anyone know) share your amp set-up, or do you have a UAFX amp pedal to go with the others that you have used to record? Thanks!
Just curious, with all the amp emulation plugins and multi effect digital amp modelers available nowadays, whos still buying individual pedals?!
show us a great digital fuzz
people who like building a board with all the sounds they like.. not digital imitations of the sounds they like
Vespa means wasp in Italian...great fuzz...wow!
Beeeeefy
Yeah. I like that phat fuzz sound. It's nice.
10:26 insanity
Hot damn that's a Heavy A$$ TONE !
MASSIVE RIFFS
Love your playing and as a personality. This video I think you missed the most useful feature. The momentary is amazing
Glad I got out of bed this morning just to hear the bend at 9:00
Hi there. cool pedal . By the way "Vespa" Is an Italian name for A" Wasp insect" as well as a scooter.
I have the Octahive and Fat Bee. They both are incredible, but sound best cranked all the way up.
Bea, great video as usual! A bit off topic, but how much sting buzz is normal to have on a strat, do you have any on yours?
Ofc it jells well, its the honey in it.
YES!!
Hopefully you’ll do a video on the royal jelly
Second. Going to buy this!
I like how you keep it more about the pedals and less about 'you'. Stay humble, mate.
So... how can WE get a drive like that, with "Bea" on it? Im' hoping you really dig the pedal bc I'd totally get a signature one!
Dude, how's your knee? That shirt is rad (I'm Canadian, LOL). Great vid.
first! Just came from hennings vezzpa vid lmao
YES!! Same here haha
hennings video is stunning!
@@Jack_S_Albert both videos actually really compliment each other
I want one, thanks...
I particularly liked 14:09 through the end...
I loved maldita sea
Ra-bee-a!
Bea: "Let me get the Les Paul..." Me: Oh it's about to get filthy... (wasn't disappointed). Now how do I get rid of this demon.
vespa means wasp in italian, hence the stinger?
Hahaha went right over my head
@@RabeaMassaad fun fact, the scooter is called a vespa cause the italians think they sound like wasps
That sounds nasty!!
Would I bee (hehe) wrong if I said that this pedal on the more open settings (atleast) retains unusual chord definition? Just my impression...am I wrong?
I think you´re right! It sounds very pleasant with chords
What are the pickups on that Les Paul?
Fark the pedal (which is farking amazing sounding...but...), WHAAAT is that rig like? Slo+Kraken in stereo ? My underpants melted when you said that.
Vespa is Italian for wasp. Very on-message! 😁
💜🎸👍🏻
We need a miku style pedal which goes "in a nutshell"
I would have liked to hear what it sounds like when fed with a clean signal. My feeling is as you are feeding it with an already driven setting it was probably choking it more.
Fuzz sounds best with some distortion.
congrats on another signature! lol
Anyone know how this might compare to @BeetronicsFx Octahive ??
i saw a other video from other english guy, and he told the Vezzpa has much more gain
@@Jack_S_Albert Excellent, thanks so much! sounds great to me
Vespa means Wasp in Italian, that's probably what it's referencing :)
Dickies checked shirt, fuzzylicious music and a healthy looking Bea - what else do you need to make a perfect video?
what can you say about your Neumann monitors? do they translate your mixes? are you happy?
Best purchase decision I ever made for mixing and general listening experience. They’re expensive, and when you’re buying monitors at those kinda prices it’s a serious investment. I was slightly dubious since Neumann aren’t know for speakers, yet for microphones. Since the technology between speakers and microphones is so similar, it makes sense That Neumann would absolutely smash it out of the park.
Could be referencing the drink invented by James Bond in Casino Royale :)
hornet vespa
Switches to the Les Paul.... BEE OF DOOM!!! :-D
I have one, and it sounds so thin. To get any thick sounds, you have to put the gain on full. I was expecting better. I am a gated fuzz lover, and this one sadly doesn't stack up. I wanted to really like it.
