dude if you had a slightly better camera/lighting id have thought this was a channel with thousands of subscribers. definitely add a cam for your pedals so people can see what’s turned on and the settings, i think that’d be a huge help. this was very entertaining dude keep at it!
this is why i have always held onto my old Peavey mixer..its fun to run pedals into...not quite as "vintage" as yours but i've got an old blue stripe era...i'm guessing 90s-ish...fun stuff man...great video
Your amps look like they should have seaweed n coral growing on them 😂 love that vibe n you sound awesome mate, you ever looked at the Biyang Tonefancier FZ-7 Fuzz pedal, it's pretty cheap n sounds pretty cool, you got a sub from the UK brother 👍 Land of the Mighty Wizard 🤘
Dope, you actually inspired me to search for budget-type amps. So far I found a Peavey Century 200H, Peavey Bass MK III, Traynor YBA-10/G, and a Traynor YVM-4.
Budget gear is so fun, I've had pretty good luck scoring cheap guitars at yardsales and I've even found cheap mics at Goodwill, like old radio shack and proline mics and bundles of cables for dirt cheap. I even found a hifi EQ for 5 bucks and I use it to boost my amp and it oddly does that kinda trashy Josh Homme type tone. It's just fun using cheap garbage most people would never even think of buying.
Wish i made my cab instead of buying this marshall and replacing the speaks all my other shits pretty cheap just the way i like it regardless i get guys saying wow that sounds great !!! Nice cat btw !!!😂 Love how you layered in the barrage !!!u actually helped me stay focused that accents are great as accents 🤟🤟🤟
@FuzzedandDoom97 it was the most beat up gibson I've ever seen. The tail piece and bridge were in a paper bag. There was no knobs on it. And it looked like it had been drug down the road by a Harley or used for target practice with horse shoes lol. But all it needed was strings and knobs. It was black too. The best sounding color. I knew they didn't know what they had cuz they were only asking $200. I talked them down to $150. I got a free peavey mace out of a burn pile one day too that just needed speakers. It was so loud the numbers on the face plate were blurry from rattling your eyeballs so hard.
I'd recommend another option than the Joyo Voodoo Octave. The Caline Fuzzy Face, which I believe is out of production but can still be bought new on Amazon for about $30, or the Gokko Audio Octave Fuzz, which is the same PCB and components bought preassembled from Caline by Gokko and sold with the Gokko branding.
If you're handy with a soldering you can also change a component or two in the joyo to bring out the octave effect and lessen the fizziness of the attack.
I got some good deals on them, but I got a Roland dac 10 and a peavey backstage or something and those two together with a Beringer superfuzz can dooooooom man, my god. The Roland turns to mush with the fuzz but the peavey stays semi together and sounds weirdly mid boosted with every single dirt pedal lol. I think the two amps together cost me like €20ish
I heard that Joyo Voodoo Octave has a problem with incorrectly installed capacitors or something like that, the sound can be made even better if you fix this problem, there are guides on the Internet about this topic.
Love the video! I just got turned on to this channel on my feed you got a subscriber out of me👍 I just got done myself doing a electronic drone piece with my nephew on my Korg volca bass using my behringer superfuzz and zoom CDR 70 and my nephew on a kalimba finger drum going through a Korg monotron delay🎹🎛️🎧👌 BrAp oN!!¡!✋✌️
@FuzzedandDoom97 I'm a few hours down south in London; Traynors galore here as well. My Dad used to collect them and I became a big fan by osmosis ahaha. You were pulling some huge sound from those rigs. and playing a Strat just like myself; couldn't help but subscribe. Thanks for the video man!
My setup isn't budget friendly. I've got the DigiTech FreqOut for feedback and sustain going into the Sunn O))) LifePedal for the RAT effect and octave distortion, with the Big Muff Deluxe for fuzz, and the Avalanche Run for delay and reverb before hitting the Anti 1992 amp pedal. But it fuckin' dooms and I know I could've made it doom for less money but that's what credit cards are for! I will say though that the difference in our doomage is not that big for how much money I spent compared to this guy! So if that $300 Life Pedal is not in your budget, here's video proof that you don't need that exact pedal to create some uber sludge!
@@BeyondTyrants that’s a rig for sure! I love the cheap stuff but my main pedal setup is mixture of cheap and not cheap. Guitar > Joyo Wah II>life pedal> the sonic doom> $10 tuner>joyo phaser, EHX canyon> Earthquaker astral destiny> into amp
anyone who talks about tonewood or boutique or limited edition, custom made, one of a kind, hand wound, top of the line, is just plain lying throug there teeth. gear does not make music. the musician does. this guy proves that. give clapton a 100$ guitar and a 50$ amp and hes still great. money doesnt make you better. skill does. get whatever you can afford and make it work. if you like the sound then its right.

Yay someone whos playing metal on a SSS Strat. Thank you man. I know a lot of comments nowadays are sarcastic but I'm straight up, also nice playing.
Strats can really get those chunky riffs going!
Strats can hang with the best of ‘em for metal, ya just gotta know what you’re doin!

9:27 that face! LOL...reminds me of discovering the ol' WD-40 + Bic lighter flamethrower as a kid! 🤣🤘
It's crazy how the $20 mic accurately captures the Super Fuzz sound. I'd say that's a great bargain.
No nonsense straight to the point, yet detailed and clear, dope riffs, classic tones and a cat - this video's got it all and I am here to stay
Such a badass video. Love the playing on top of the “use what you can afford” mentality. Looking forward to hear your music
