Another thing regarding cargo ships. Some ships can sort of tank one naval mine (though it would bring them down to extremely low HP), so if you accidentally tank a naval mine, it's crucial that you have a cargo ship around to heal it.
I remember that one time where i have encountered two cruisers in the shadow and one or two diesel subs submerged and i only have one destroyer. Truly naval battle experience
I would literally get folded by submerged subs just because that I keep forgetting that sonar exists and only when it’s on the minesweeper map that I remember it exists🤦♂️

Pro tip for finding subs : Yes subs can block ships so if you know your facing a sub could could move you ships on the tiltes if i goes on 8ts clewr if its blcoked well its not BUT NEVER DO THIS WITH MINES-
some rigged levels are impossible. i started playing this game a year and something ago and i got all the units in the game, thou i have all of them i dtill cant beat some of the rigged levels…

Or you can just detect the mines so you don’t have to heal your ships anyway
This is true but they need make the enemy have like ground units in side the sea plane ✈️ or make like v2 commado as a enemy unit
And the cloaked naval units are so easy to find if you just find what place they are out and the are same as the cloaked commandos but in the sea
Sonar is very complcated for new players. This perfectly shows how it works and how to use it nice video.
It's very good when there are two destroyers 3 tiles apart cause you can detect a sub a little bit easier

I found a bug while playing, in the 5.0 update there is a bug where light gunship can land anywhere, including buildings and other units

another Strat is to use the cannons of destroyers to damage and pinpoint mines
eg you detect a mine and you are out moves so you can shoot in a educated guess to know where it is
You’d be wasting even more ammo, do that in an emergency

Yes but the odd of you getting blocked by a sub are low considering they try to move around you
you can boom boom hidden mines or submarine by just shooting them with ship's cannon but need few shots to destroy it
