      You're not alone.
My first skeletool was way too stiff (even after playing around and oiling it for a few weeks). I ended up sending it to Leatherman, and they sent me a brand new one: much smoother than than the first.
You could also buy a couple T10 security bits to loosen up yours

The bit extender is worth it’s weight in gold. I wish leatherman would come out with nut driver bits like 1/4” and 5/16”.
I also didn’t know they had a ratchet. I just ordered one. Thank you!

after move 3 everything is just show and actually an opportunity to injure yourself. you already have it open, why close it and risk hitting your knuckles and then open it again when you just had it open in the first place. i mean if u want it to look cool maybe.

I see your point. And it's well taken. But it's what i do when working under my car alone, and it's been fine for me.
So not intending to show off, but if it comes off that way, well im glad some people are easily impressed.

@@watchncarry9593 not saying ur trying to show off, just trying to help, in the video you can see that if you do the flip up and then back after step 3, you have the opportunity for the tool to get stuck and not get it opened again with just 1 hand like it happened to you in min 3:40. if you just flip it over your hand and rotate it it won't happen, just like you did in the video at 4:45 where the tool is already opened and u can just use it without the flip thing. also it is easier with new tools as with them they will get stuck. thanks for the outbound tool tips btw.
