All of those camos that look as ridiculous as this (like this Halloween, transformers or steampunk shit) should get a hefty concealment penalty
Trying to pull a red baron. If everyone can see/identify you, your kills are easier to confirm.

Hej Cherbourg here... I have to say that was the most spectacular game of the year for me. A&B Cap gone at the start and it took us forever to cap C, meanwhile we lost a lot ships.. then so many red Ships nearby in the B cap...so many targets eternal reload. I had no more hope. But then Dr. Rabbits Doom music kicked in. All those red ships dissapeared. My M8 and i couldt belive what was happening. And i´m very glad we didnt screw up the end of the game. MUCHAS GRACIAS Dr. Rabbit for saving the Day!

What the dude pulled off was great. Sure it requires some luck as his teammate later implies in the chat. But he is indeed really skillful; I love the fact that given the gameplay he appears to be calm and focused in each one of his shots.

Mr Jingles I AM that fushun player... and yes, my cap was a disaster.. the cruiser shells comming in at me were WAY more frequent and accurate than those at the farragut... In retrospect I should have recognised the lack of effective support and pulled back, my bad.. hey ho. But I was ASTONISHED when the game came back as a win. I am so pleased to see what happened, huge congrats to Dr Rabbit
I like the way he managed his shots. I always just unload a full salvo, even if it's too much for a low-health target. I'll have to try firing single shots too.
That is the correct thinking. Seeing someone doing it correctly for the situation and then trying to do it yourself. Very good
If you're in something with a butt-load of turrets, it's fun to just keep firing one after the other, raining shells.
When it happens to me (more than I like) I always get shaken up. Sure, full salvos can slap you dead or close to it. But that rain of shells is like death by a thousand cuts.
yeah i hate it when i see people unload a full salvo on a target that only needs 1 more shot. plenty of other target to fire the rest on.
@@lionhead123 the reason I do it na BBs is that RNG is so wild that sometimes a perfect shot that just can't miss... misses. So I usually unload all I've got to minimise the chances of RNG screwing me over.
@@johnnyenglish583 sure, i get that. in a lot of situations that usually the smart thing to do. But when the target is really close or standing still...
WoW! That was an amazing game, was there some luck sure, but a shed load of skill, situational awareness and consumable usage too. Manouvering a bb like that is alot more difficult now with the new sub compatible grounding system. Really really impressive game! One of the best ever on this chanel I think. Apparently according to chat it was his first game in 4 days so he should probably take breaks more often.
Or get amnesia, every battle is is beginners luck if you don't remember playing before 🙃

The Lenin is actually my favorite ship in the game. I have 357 battles with a 55% win rate and 1,750xp average. Which is nothing to brag about but I am not a good player whatsoever. It gets hammered by planes but it’s good armor and decent guns really make up for it. As long as you are angling correctly 18in guns have trouble penning it. And the guns aren’t great at long range but from medium to close range it’s an absolute weapon. God tier dispersion. Which really helps when shooting dds. This thing is a cruiser killer and decent brawler even against German bbs.
I love watching these. I haven't played World of Warships for years but watching these matches is great!
The Nelski is proof that Russia made the best paper battleships.

Although depth charge strike don't spot targets, I have noticed that they update the minimap's last location indicator. This actually saved my bacon just last night when I saw a DD escape the far side of a smoke screen.

They're gonna introduce something like that nuke that call of duty multiplayer had, and then war thunder added to ground games. But it's gonna be something you charge up with damage or kills throughout the battle 🤣
Or knowing war gaming, it won't even be damage. Just number of shells you connect with the enemy ship, which would include ricochets

Put an excellent player, who is able enough to give RNG the time to decided whether to kiss him or not in a very stronk ship (some might even say OP), make him top tier and you'll get a match like this one.
And allthough the map awareness was exceptional, what really made me giggle is the fact, that his entire battle took place in more or less two map squares and the enemies just kept throwing them self at him.

I had a run of what was, in likelihood, mostly my own incompetent play and sold my Nelski in a rage-sell moment. While I still remember being barbecued by HE cruisers, I wish I had not been so hasty.

Jingles, as much as I love the term “showing too much skirt”, I feel like you should bring back the Victorian-era terms of “showing too much bare ankle/shoulder”. Just some food for thought.

I will agree that the last three did play quite beautifully against the Farragut and the Tirpitz. I will say that the Farragut was probably the weakest link only because it felt like he was dithering about behind that island, but that's with hindsight and nosebleed seats. I guess what I'm saying is that I personally think the Farragut should have abandoned the Tirpitz position-wise and tried to go after the Cherbourg in a 1 on 1. The Tirpitz was probably doomed and could only hope to wither away the Littorio and Odin as much as he could, but every BB player knows how much of a nightmare it is to be chasing a DD as the last ones standing. But again, I'm talking out of my butt with the confidence of knowing the result.
Regardless, it was a great match in my opinion. I truly mean it when I say that the last 3 on Rabbit's team played beautifully. Like the division of responsibilities, the restraint of not being a hero and being a team player instead, and the playing to each ships strength to cover the weakness of the others with what they got. That's how WOWS ought to look like. Instead you get people blaming others for their lack of talent.
New battleship idea: The Putin
Tier XX Battleship, 18 guns, contained in 6 turrets, 3 fore, 3 aft.
Special abilities: Only gets in matchmaking with Tier 1-3 ships. The damage control ability doesn't work and instead actually causes damage when you try to use it. Trying to fire damages you instead of the enemy and the guns don't work. Special -200% accuracy against smaller ships. Hits anywhere on the ship have a 50% chance of being a citadel hit. At any moment in the battle a talent called "speshul operation" can activate and removes 50% of your hitpoints.
In hindsight, I feel like if Lenin just parked in open water near A and stopped Congress and La Galissonniere from running at Fushun this game would have been easier. But killing 3/4 of the enemy team works too I guess, lmao
Fushun had to run much earlier. But this is also experience, when I see such teammates like Baltimore who has no idea about radar range and his position? Plus enemy pushing with 5 ships vs 3 (excluding the Baltimore) I would definitely leave the cap to survive it.
dude did have an amzing game but I mean ... hardly did it alone. He did a lot of "Kill Confirming" he barely got 7k damage on the first cruiser and he continues all game waiting to finish off the boats, that's why he only has 166k damage (respectable but not high by any means) and yet has 9 kills - an average of only 18 k per kill.
1) It's a lower Tier MM; so the HP of ships is lower.... hence less damage
2) He had 3 Dev Strikes.....

@@goldenkizaru1560 you obviously don't play wows? the DDs (three per side) all had 20k life, the cruisers were minimum of 30k some higher and all the BBs were 60- our hero was 63k not to mention many had heals. His first kill has 33800 hp and he only did 7965 dmg to it. no need to defend him, its just reality he did very little damage,

1) The Protag clearly picked his spots/shots; that is clear as day.
2) He still got 3 Devs strikes, so clearly he was doing more than "Kill Confirming"
3) I do play WoWs, and I'm not defending anything. Your comment has 1/2 right, and 1/2 nonsense.

Good ending battle, Farragut definitely was in a no win situation, but I think would have done better to displace and tell the tirpitz to disengage.

The Lenin's guns have quite a few drawbacks but lack of pen is not one of them. 😄

I'm always shocked how many of my teammates don't understand the range of their radars and hydros. They'll radar from the backline or at the start of the battle. Just why?

With a name like that, Dr. Rabbit and his guns just absolutely wrecking ass here, I can't help but picture him as a Medic and every kill was due to an ubersaw Random Crit... is it weird?

No, the third turret on the Lenin does not rotate a full 360 degrees, only the second turret, same as the Nelson and Izumo. Oh Jingles.

And accuracy on the Lenin is actually decent compared to other normal BBs given it has 9 guns. I think we have been spoiled by the glut of ships with battle cruiser dispersion. Sure it's no Slava but it is still good.

FYI: Slava got nerfed and they - more or less - took the one thing away from her, that she was really good at. Not worth the research points anymore imo.
@@Sporting1210 when did Slava get nerfed? I wasn't aware of it being touched since release and it's dispersion is still in a totally different league to every BB in the game. At 20km its dispersion area is 80% that of Thunderer, let alone a "normal" BB.
