If I were to be in balance department I know how to balance petro. She takes 200% increased damage from flooding as her freeboard is so low on the water she already looks like a ship thats about to sink. And if a shell calliber bigger than 305mm manages to score 6 hits on the same part of the ship as overpens she gets a flooding. Higher the shell caliber less shells needed to make her flood. Floodings caused by main battery overpens only last for 10 second but maintain the increased flooding damage
@@rampagesniper2588 no i meant implementing theese balance changes would be easier than making a new class of ships for example like subs. instead of making subs they could have made theese balance changes to all the ships in the game.

Anybody who has ever got to use the Petro will understand why you will at some point call it "Big daddy Petro". It's literally such a good ship that it makes no sense and perfect sense why it's a tech tree ship. It's wg excuse to say they have a ship you can grind for that's literally better than everything else, even some battleships. Jingle makes a point about average reload, meanwhile italian cruisers have much longer reload with smaller guns and much less pen. Imagine a cruiser that can cit battleships with 13 second reloads, and also be tanky as shit.
I love Jingles complaining about the lack of weaknesses in the ship while the footage is showing one of the weaknesses in action. The Petro can't shoot over a sandbar, let alone a real island. That's the trade off for the high shell velocity and flat arcs.
Good lordy, I thought the Giulio Cesare was over powered at tier 5, I'm a casual player and this is so so broken. I think I have to ask, World of Warships, why does this exist???? Plus, 30 citadels??!!! I think the most I got in the Graf Spee was 10, and I thought that was a lot. Yeah that battle actually happened, I think this made my morning.
Lol good to see him exagerating in chat - 291k... 300k on the dot for chat :-)! By the way Jingles surely you realise the Nevsky is a light cruiser (just ignore the 8 inch guns!)
Petro can do a lot of things that any other ship in the game cannot do, or if they can, can only do one or a few of: a. radar b. harder to kill than most battleships and/or an uparmoured cockroach (see armour scheme, physical size, etc.) c. improved pen angles d. among the highest penetration at any range, and even higher than some super cruisers. e. the shortest shell flight time in the game at almost every range. (due to her very fast muzzle velocity, high shell weight, and the lowest drag value in the game) f. among the best cruiser AA in the game (long range, lots of flak, high continuous, access to defAA.) g. access to kuznetsov, the most broken special comander ever made, making her even harder to kill. h. fast speed i. ESPECIALLY for how dangerous she is, excellent concealment. I mean until very recently she even has stealth radar, even though weegee nerfed woosters radar range 'to eliminate that from the game' j. 360 turrets for NO REASON give her much more flexibility and higher practical time on target. k. did I mention that she has spaced armour too, just in case you actually managed to hit her 'shorter than most destroyers' freeboard? l. incredible accuracy, especially within 15km. m. improved secondary accuracy, because why not. n. very high healthpool, despite having best in class armour and size. and believe it or not, I could go on. The petro has EVERY advantage you could possibly give a cruiser, sans torpedos and a slightly bigger than average turning circle. I'm sorry if you have the petro and it makes you feel good to play it, but the ship is a crutch, and this makes it INARGUABLY overpowered, and I'm really tired of people trying to act like it isn't.
At after, I thought the Petro was a battleship. No joke. I didn't otherwise hear jingles mention that the Petro was a cruiser, until a little before it was killing the thunderer arse. My God, how a cruiser kills 18 inch gun battleships, is just scary. And it's a tier tree ship?!

"...yup, its an older title, but it checks out."
At 7:33 the player scored 9 citadels and served the battleship a paddling that would get child protective services called...
I love how the guy laughs at his own jokes...
Good to hear that gnarly laughter again Jingles
I must admit i was always under the impression that the Petro was a Premium ship. That blows my mind
Petropavlovsk - A Russian Heavy Cruiser that was never made but that was given epic performance by Russian game designers.
If he was in a battleship those hits on the Shikishima would have both simultaneously over penned and ricocheted/shattered/hit torpedo protection.
Btw, Zao is in the same tier.
Nah comrade, spreadsheet say Zao is fine.
I have already had two 280k damage games this week alone that my team managed to lose. Yes I know the feeling
This game is the only place where the Russian Navy could be successful
I'm having a very bad day today, but uncle Jingles to the rescue, with a video that will occupy my mind for 17:52 . Thank you.
9 citadel hits in a single salvo... Battleship mains absolutely salivating at that one
That Monty and shiki would make the Dalai llama explode in frustration if he had the misfortune of teaming up with them.
Petro can do a lot of things that any other ship in the game cannot do, or if they can, can only do one or a few of:
a. radar
b. harder to kill than most battleships and/or an uparmoured cockroach (see armour scheme, physical size, etc.)
c. improved pen angles
d. among the highest penetration at any range, and even higher than some super cruisers.
e. the shortest shell flight time in the game at almost every range. (due to her very fast muzzle velocity, high shell weight, and the lowest drag value in the game)
f. among the best cruiser AA in the game (long range, lots of flak, high continuous, access to defAA.)
g. access to kuznetsov, the most broken special comander ever made, making her even harder to kill.
h. fast speed
i. ESPECIALLY for how dangerous she is, excellent concealment. I mean until very recently she even has stealth radar, even though weegee nerfed woosters radar range 'to eliminate that from the game'
I can only hope the Petro is still like that when I get big enough to get one for my Xbox.
Never change Jingles
Oh Jingles. Praising the accuracy of Petro while that is considered literally the only true downside of the boat.
“[Petropavlovsk] doesn’t have hydro.”
Sad sonar noises in background…
At after, I thought the Petro was a battleship. No joke. I didn't otherwise hear jingles mention that the Petro was a cruiser, until a little before it was killing the thunderer arse.
My God, how a cruiser kills 18 inch gun battleships, is just scary. And it's a tier tree ship?!
i feel like i was watching one of those side show alley shooting games where the ducks run along a track in front of you - how many broadside ships does it take to change a lightbulb..........
One of the first to comment, yay. Have a good day, everybody. :)
Hope you have a nice one. Mine has not ended yet. Yay PST
Not a great start but the video makes it better
IT HAS HYDRO, its right there, and making Hydro Noise... never change Jingles
Thanks Jingles.
Warms my heart seeing " balans" working as intended 🤩
I have to say, Jingles makes would make one hell of a good russian badguy in any given film!
Another example of the exceedingly high standards of gameplay on the EU server.
Love to hear your ironic laughing Jingles. Don’t play games but enjoy your commentary.
ohh Jingles...see the headphone icon??? thats Hydro Mate..
As a player, my target priority goes like this: 1:Russian cruisers. 2: everything else.
Good Lord that 60k salvo on the Shikishima....Balans comrade indeed!
Being a Navy man. I'd like to hear what Jingles has to say about the "Edmund Fitzgerald" and what his thoughts were when he heard of the sinking. Possibly a reaction to the Gordon Lightfoot song "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald".
