Sure, subs are annoying and most sub players suck. Though you have to admit a good sub player when you see one. I wouldn't want this guy on a sub against me.

I'm a Silent Hunter/Wolfpack player and haven't played WoW since long before subs were introduced... My favorite part from this is how stupidly easy it is to attack someone as a sub. If you wanted to balance this, make it take much longer to generate a good solution. What takes seconds in this game often takes the better part of an hour (or more) to do realistically. No plotting, no positioning, no calculations, no nomographs, attack disks or RAOBF, just point and shoot lmao
From the perspective of a real submariner, I'm pretty sure this is how everyone felt in WW2

Subs in this game feel exactly like they should. Lika an afterthought.
In all my games people never miss a sub. They are targeted to no end. Looks like an easy time but subs get destroyed like crazy.
Thats probably why this is sicj a notable exception.
Aye - I don't understand people who complain about subs being OP. They are damn easy to counter, and they have to play ridiculously careful as they can't get away like a DD can if they get spotted.
@@Volkaer yeah 99 percent of the time I have to get lucky to manage to disappear after being spotted cuz every player in the vicinity launches depth planes if they're paying attention

Well played Subs are quite rare since most of the good playerbase despise them. Most Sub players get rekt by depth charges because they move in predictable ways and dont really know when to dive and when not to. A good player knows that and changes his course sideways after he gets unspotted. So the depth charges which get dropped in front of, behind or on him miss. This way its the hardest class to kill, next to CVs molding behind islands.

You need to be wihing their air detection range if they are at periscope depth, and can't spot them by proximity at maximum depth. Use hydro and they're ddead though.
because none of the dds had hydro. this sub was dead 5 mins into the game if any of them used hydro :p

The sub launched the tops 12.5km away from the N. Carolina and took 55 seconds to reach it. That gives them a speed of 227 m/s, or 507 mph.
The speed of sound is around 330 m/s.
He did get spotted. He had two destroyers and a cruiser chasing him within minutes of him spawning

Because two of them were destroyers on top of him. If he went for the kill they would've realized he was there and just instantly killed him with depth charges.
That was almost a episode of Game of Throws.
By the way:
Shotgunning is not an issue they say. Submarines are fair and balanced they say.

I saw a video on UA-cam of a Bismark that got 10 kills and completely dominated the game.
This is proof that Bismark is way overpowered and should be nerfd or banned from the game.

В отряде, да и с авианосцем. Тут легко набрать урона и фрагов, авианосец все время светит, а ты торпедируешь. Тут очень легко выходит.
Изменено: Попробовал ту же тактику. на четвертом бое было 189249 урона и 3 фрага. Эта тактика кайф для тебя, но не для соперников. Подводные лодки и Авианосцы принадлежат к классу паразитов в игре. В соло против 2-3 кораблей они на изи победят. Но в этом и беда. Подлодки с введением только сделали хуже игре большинству простых игроков.

The WWI and WWII subs where faster surfaced. This german type XXI-U-Boot was one of the first types to be faster under water. Today the subs are way faster under water. The form is meant to.

He teams up with the other nonsense class in division and complains about the rest of the team. This sub is NONSENSE! Gets caught by a destroyer at point blank range and the sub deepthroats the DD with torps?! Really?! This game is the essential proof of how broken this class is!

Not quite. Not in WWII atleast. Subs during WWII are basically Submerge Boats, it will dive under the water and last only an hour or two, maybe 5 at most. Then it has to resurface for air. Like Whales. They are also very vulnerable against depth charges and fires, and that alone force subs to resurfaces. Most Subs doing a Convoy Raiding. You wonder why? Because it cannot fight other ships at all. Subs are also slow, like slower than any ship classes, at most, it will run max speed with surfaced about 20knots and that is my generous part. Most subs under water can’t even reached 10knots speed. So, to make this more senses on WOWs, Subs shouldn’t have more health than the DDs on its tier with limited diving time and easy to kill. While at the same time extremely slow underwater.

They weren't at all. They were mainly used to sink merchant ships, occasionally a dd/cruiser. During the entirety of world war II, Sealion was the only allied submarine that had sunk an enemy battleship, the Kongo.
Submarines do not take down battleships, as it's simply too difficult and would require far too many torpedoes.

the fact he didn't die right away in the middle of the map when he pinged that battleship when he had 2 or 3 other players on top of him made me super salty... I do stuff like that and end up with about 30 debth charges on my head. Also the fact the destroyer he shot gunned at 9:10 didn't drop debth charges as soon as he saw him surface made me super salty.
I dont play WoW but I play WoT. And from looking at this this seems beyond overpowered, unless what he's doing requires extreme skill

Cause i installed the game couple days ago and i couldnt find any tech tree for subs to unlock besides the premium sub wich u gotta buy, or was i just blind and not looking at the right tech tree, if so wich faction has them where u can unlock them without having to get the premium versions..
@@SateHap Yeah it's the premiums. But in 2023 they are gonna add more collectible subs in the game. In the meantime, this is what we got.

Desculpe corrigir, mas é assim mesmo. Abaixo de 6 m, um submarino só pode ser detectado no mapa por sonar ativo de navio até 2 km de distância (inclusive vertical), sonar ativo de outro submarino ou por detecção visual (proximidade) de outro submarino.
