Looks a fascinating place Andy. The Cathedral is beautiful. Casa Manila looked like great Museum Andy. Great shots and information So funny the golf course round it haha
@@TheOnlyTruthTalker😂 you really like piyanggang which is the equivalent of pagpag in Indonesia 😂 The poor in Tondo were now living in newly built high rise buildings there (see tondominiums) it's clean there and now it has become a tourist spot popular to backpackers. In Jakarta however nothing changes for the poor like you still lives in slums without toilets😂
Welcome to the Philippines Andy👍❤🇵🇭❤🇬🇧❤👍Im your new subscriber from Metro Manila There's a lot of Beautiful Places to Visit in Metro Manila and a lot of Shopping Malls,The Venice Grand Canal Mall and the Mall of Asia MOA is the biggest Mall where you can find the biggest IKEA Store in the world
thanks for subbing! I visit the MOA in the next video coming Thursday! I didn't know about Ikea or the Grand Canal Mall, that sounds very different! But I do check out the shoe museum and Chinese cemetery and navigate the public transport system next time! Thanks again!
This video took off brother and I can see why. The intramuros part of Manila looks amazing. I enjoy the historical districts of cities. Great architecture, Manila was under Spanish rule correct?
Yes Ben it was under Spanish rule for centuries and then Spain had a war with America and America controlled the Philippines from the end of the 19th century until just after WWII. Thanks for watching sir!
I like how you make a comment especially with your host country, hope you wouldnt change ang give the positive vibes, curious with a hint of comical comments of the place.
Thanks for watching! I always try to stay positive even if a place (like a big city) isnt my 'kind of place'. The humour I use mostly is word play or poking fun at myself. Certainly the historical centre of Manila is really interesting and has a beauty to it. Appreciate you watching and supporting the channel!
Very few Manileño families in Intramuros saved their antique furnitures because much of them were burned and destroyed during the liberation of Manila in 1945, world war 2.
The golf course in Intramuros used to be a moat btw. When the Americans came they decided to turn Intramuros' last line of defense into a freekeeng golf course. Americans being Americans 🤷
Beautiful churches, museums, and parks.
Cheers thanks for your support 🙏

Lol I thought there should have been a moat! Thanks for the info and for supporting my channel 🙂
"surrounded by golf courses, of all things.." - blame it on the Americans, it's their idea 😂
I rather guessed it probably was lol still it's not an unattractive use of the space thanks for watching!
