One of the stories that is in the verge of nearly forgotten Philipine history which is very touching and should be taught in the education system in the Philippines. The same with how the Philipine Army helped in the korean war and how great Filipinos were. Something that people should learn about.
I read about the Philippine army stayed in Korea during the Korean war to finish the job while many other countries left. The Pilipinos stayed shoulder to shoulder with the Americans and fight fiercely against the communists. That's how Pilipinos are. We're dependable up to the end. We don't let our friends down. Sadly, the South Koreans doesn't teach their young children exactly what the Pilipinos contributed to their freedom.
Philippines didn't leave Korea even after the war since they helped on rebuilding many buildings and facilities that were either still being built or destroyed/damaged
And in a way, this happens again today. Over two dozens of massive cruise ships are currently locked down afloat and stranded in Manila Bay. All of them have been turned away by other countries but the Philippines. A lot needs to be done though but this is good enough for the stranded crew rather than sailing through the oceans not knowing where to go.

WHich means it is technically by law, the Philippines' responsibility.. the ship was sent away NOT because only of fear (by other countries), it was sent back to where the government had jurisdiction. The U.S.A. preferred Japan and rebuild Germany and Japan..and they became one of the richest country and First World. Mean while the Philippines struggled on its own and to add insult to injury or Pain to most Filipinos who fought with the Americans, President Truman did not commit to their Promise of sustaining or helping the Filipino Veterans, rather abandoned. I am not sure if the recognition was finally given during Obama administration but even if so, only just a few of them remain due to age while most of them had Died. One of the stories that is in the verge of nearly forgotten Philipine history which is very touching and should be taught in the education system in the Philippines. The same with how the Philipine Army helped in the korean war and how great Filipinos were. Something that people should learn about.
i will research this 😬 i learned more on youtube than school
I would like to watch it if there is a movie for it, is it available on Netflix or Now tv?
G Rea iquezon’s game I think
I read about the Philippine army stayed in Korea during the Korean war to finish the job while many other countries left. The Pilipinos stayed shoulder to shoulder with the Americans and fight fiercely against the communists. That's how Pilipinos are. We're dependable up to the end. We don't let our friends down. Sadly, the South Koreans doesn't teach their young children exactly what the Pilipinos contributed to their freedom.
Philippines didn't leave Korea even after the war since they helped on rebuilding many buildings and facilities that were either still being built or destroyed/damaged
Im a Filipino, while watching this i feel so bad for them but proud to be a Filipino. Nothing change we Filipino’s are warm people.

WHich means it is technically by law, the Philippines' responsibility.. the ship was sent away NOT because only of fear (by other countries), it was sent back to where the government had jurisdiction.
