Thank you I just took a management position at my job & everyone says how well I'm doing but this is harder than I thought just thinking abt my paycheck & Bill's pushing threw thx for the motivation.
I hear no lies! I used to have a habit of pre announcing goals before it's time and I found that it would cause me to never actually bring the goal to realization. There's a whole psychological explanation behind this (I read abt it lol), but I stopped sharing the personal things I'm working on until it's time and it's been better that way imo. I have a step-by-step plan and just getting through each one by one until I can start these ideas. Can't always plan out life, but having the vision clear helps me navigate w/ God a bit better.
I was just saying the same thing today. You literally become whatever it is you consume on a daily basis and it doesn’t matter what it is, whether it be food, drink, media, you become whatever it is you consume.
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 ESV

This is all so true . You have to nurture that growth with the word of God and push each moment of the day. A day at a time. I’m on the journey right now and it feels good. I’m excited about the future! It’s not easy but we need to make our minds up and step out with faith and consistency.

This is probably the 3rd or 4th time I've heard this same thing stated in a different way in the last 2 weeks... there was a video where a scientist was talking about the effects of completing task/goals on our brain that it leaves a visible mark and what happens when we constantly don't complete them. Also an audio book I'm listening to and it echos the same thing you stated in building confidence so you were right on target
Absolutely, often times, when we make mistakes and fall short, the guilt and the shame keeps us in a negative headspace. The feeling of guilt tends to keep us in a vicious cycle; instead, we should accept grace and forgiveness. We can get out of a rut and push past. We our so much bigger than ourselves.
This is definitely a timely video. I’ve been wanting to get started in the UA-cam space as well and sharing my message and showing what faith in God can do for oneself but I struggle heavily with self-doubt. I also have no idea where to begin.
Why is this post so loud? Lol. Thank you so much for this Phil. This has been an ongoing problem for me when it comes to piano. Been playing for years but have never made it to the level I know I can get to and its because I'm not consistent. If I fall off, I'll look at that piano for days instead of just walking over and playing it. And no matter how many people tell me I'm great. I don't believe so. But that will change and I'm taking the active steps to ensure that. Thanks again for this Phil😊

The whole consistency being in direct correlation with confidence is so true, that's something I'm working on interms of putting content out, trying to push past the barrier of starting and stopping and keeping to my word. He says very clearly that we must repent (confess and turn away), even daily, in order for us to be healed. so it's not enough to just get up, we must confess our sins and then He will forgive us. Revelation 2:5 - Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works (the commandments and statutes); or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. 1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Acts 17:30 - And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent

I feel like I'm such a generous and giving person that people close to me whether unbeknownst to them or not, take that for granted and low-key use it to their advantage...like why does trying to set boundaries make you feel like a horrible person sometimes?
