Embracing the feeling of discomfort till it becomes the new normal.
Recently I had a conversation with someone about going back to my inner child and dealing with my traumas, fears, concerns, etc. and I've been thinking about it since then. As a child who never had a father figure, saw my mother struggle her entire life and having Crohn's disease diagnosed at only 11, I can really say those 3 things are my "pillars" when it comes to childhood. I'm currently on a self improvement journey and I know deep inside I have to deal with it, maybe write all about it on my journal and finally face those things. I turned 25 a couple days ago and that's one more reason I think I need to look back at my childhood and accept it and overcome it. Stay safe everyone.

Appreciate letting us in your journey, because we're all on a journey.
"Be ok with sitting in silence" is something I can really synergize with right now. Recently been trying to diminish the noise in my mind and around me when I can. Even when washing dishes, I can start hearing the water and dishes more clearly (my own ASMR lol) and I can feel creative inspirations more clearly. It makes it easier to face yourself. It's a scary thought, but at the same time you feel peace and alive.
As a people pleaser, I often hesitate to do things worrying if it will give others trouble. But this video reminded me is that if its something that is aligned with who I believe God wants me to be, I have to trust that the responsibility of the other parties is on them and to let the rest up to God. A [healthy] child feels protected so is free to be themselves and explore but we forget about that and replace God in parts of our lives as we grow up and we start to feel like we need to protect ourselves. So, I appreciate the message.
