This type of shop is why I bought a press and learned to do all my tuning and set up myself. It's been 12 years and I haven't damaged a bow yet. I also haven't had to deal with a shop owner like this either.
The client has a different version of the story... Few have noticed that marks should be on the outside of the limbs, and the client says your shop installed the peep as agreed before... Who ever is right, maybe sort it with your customer FIRST, then make a video once the outcome is settled...
It might have happened in YOUR SHOP from your employee. May have happened in shipping. May have happened from new owner... Only He and your employee know. REFUND the money, keep the bow and move on with life. You are losing customers fast as this drama plays on... Just speaking from one biz owner to another.. you are not winning by doing this this way
Why would anyone request a shop to fit and tie a Peep without being there? In order to get the peep height correct you absolutely have to check it yourself.
Has the customer not got a reciept? If he has then surely it will be noted on there whether the peep site was fitted at the shop. Shops usually charge for that and if they don't would still mark it on the receipt as work done. Anyhow just a thought. Must be a nightmare for shops if people pretend they know nothing and even more of a nightmare if it's the other way round.
I said impact as soon as you zoomed in. But what you are saying makes sense. I agree with a portable bow press. Cant fool you , the "old dog". Love all your videos.
Hi, on a completely different note, i would like to buy an elite ritual but would like a specific d lood and peep sight fitted, how do i relay that information after purchase.
STEVE what do I need to do with the bow I bought.its a 50 to 60 pound limbs but the question is when I change the strings do I leave the bow on 60 pounds or do I turn the poundage down to 50 when I press the bow. What do I do.thanks
I had a limb crack in an elite victory x, it was replaced without question, it had never been dry fired , these things happen, this does look like an impact !
Screwdriver used to press the limbs to rotate the string. Screwdriver accidently bumped during the process and bamm! Cam rotates with screwdriver in it and damages the limb.

The customer put a screwdriver in the cam. Not your fault Steven.

Why is this issue being played out on social media ? We appreciate your channel but this isn't that way to do thing's !
I'm just here for the comments...
Good luck dealing with Elite. The worst customer service from any company I have dealt with. Great products but no follow up service.
Why do this, new biw broke can you help or no. No need to investigate serve the client do what you can to help where you can and get on with it.

I would say that that peep and D-loop was not fitted by a first time bow owner. That was done very well. That’s all I’m saying.

This is straight from the textbook brother. What is a defamatory publication?
