Shortening the draw length changes the string angle which raises the peep. This could be part of the reason you point of impact raised into the 8/9 ring
Stephen, could you do a video on bows with adjustment features? And, maybe discuss what the adjustments do? For example, a bit in-depth example, a bow where you can adjust cam timing and why an archer would want one cam behind or ahead? Or, maybe Bowtech and Elites left/right adjustment and discuss pro vs cons against a yoke system? I enjoy your videos and appreciate the time you spent on this.
If you shorten the power stroke, you'll hit high. Lengthen the power stroke, you hit low. It's not about bow speed but about the how the string moves due to the "pause" before it reaches its maximum speed. When you shorten the valley you think the speed goes down because the draw length is shorter, but you are making up the shorter draw length with a shorter power stroke which creates velocity much quicker due to a much shorter valley
Excellent review Sir. Can't wait to see more comparisons. I'm shooting the XL Supra Focus and i am only after an year, shooting it well. It's those "several" tiny adjustments that make such an difference. Thank you Mr Hand 🏹🤠👍
You can definitely tell that you like the 38 you just keep shooting you always know when Stephen likes a bow because it goes from firing one more to firing 1 more more lol
Stephen, you know way more about form than I do and maybe I should just keep my mouth shut, but it seems your front shoulder raises as you bend your arm to keep from having a stiff front arm due to your elbow pain. Maybe your shoulders are bulky and it's an illusion.

I bought a second hand Kure because of your videos. I put new strings on it and it’s been a blast!! Thanks again for your videos!
You can adjust the draw length on the Elites 1/4” by putting the module between the numbers on the mods.

There's also a lot more surface area crosswind on the compound bow then a recurve
It's nice to see u shooting with the 2 bows setup. Still a little bit of adjustment needed but not an apples & oranges video like so many make.

you shot shot higher cause the string angle change and the peep sight should be higher with less draw lenght
