Igorrr "Parpaing" from the "Spirituality and Distortion" album.
Gautier Serre comments: "We are so honored to welcome the final boss of death metal: George Fisher, to sing on one of the most brutal Igorrr tracks we have ever made.
"I’ve been a huge fan of George since the legendary albums "Gallery of Suicide" and "Bloodthirst" from Cannibal Corpse which had a pretty serious influence on my music.
"His participation makes a complete sense to me and to this track: who’s got a better voice than George Fisher’s voice and could fit better on chiptune 8 bit music? Heaviness versus its opposite, I found on this track the perfect match, the perfect balance."
With 2017's Savage Sinusoid, Igorrr more than proved to be a truly unique musical force - and 2020's Spirituality And Distortion cements that well-earned reputation. Slamming together disparate musical styles ranging from death and black metal to breakcore, Balkan, baroque and classical music in a manner that is as unconventional and unpredictable as it is thrilling, Igorrr are unlike any other act, and Spirituality And Distortion displays just as broad a range of emotions as sounds. I love Cannibal Corpse but this 8bit electronic part of Igorrr was out of this planet. Pure awesomeness!!

Igorrr + the voice of Laure Le Prunenec = perfection
This really gives you George like you've never really heard him, because CC is so much more of a sonic wall of death metal. You have a lot of "space" here to really hear how fucking brutal his vocals are. I love it.

It's good... But I still haven't heard a track better than Houmous from Savage Sinusoud.
Houmous has it all. The balkan-vibe, the chicken, the 8-bit, the opera, the screams and the blast beats.
Yes! Finally someone who also loves Houmous! It's my favourite Igorrr track! It has a really strange but overwhelming playful yet positive energy to it.
Houmous is like a 5 part fussion dinner, you will end it fullfilled!

i agree as much as one can on a matter of taste. Houmous is Igorrr's magnum opus so far if you ask me. a technical masterpiece.

Omg this track has parts that realy remind me of Vektor’s terminal redux album, another band here on metal blade that I love just as much as Igorrr. Easily my favorite 2 bands EVER. I think a collab between the two would be just insane, tantarean madness and just NEEDS to happen.

I'm from Sweden but i see that French metal is becoming little by little a cradle of excellent metal bands in various styles of metal (GOJIRA, IGORRR, CARCARIASS, SVART CROWN, BENIGHTED,...) that I'm sure will become the new headliners of European metal and for some of them the world's metal... !
