Death Atlas is overrated. Cattle reuses a lot of the same riffs, structures and vocal patterns. I sort of like them, but they're really nowhere near the same league as this, and I've only listened to like 15 minutes of this band...
Himalaya Massive Ritual is a true masterpiece. Wow...

Everyone is praising that song, but I find it quite boring compared to the other tracks.. .it might be because the heavy riffing doesn't do it for me.
i feel like this is their most "normal" record, but its still super good.

The most underrated experimental heavy thing in the music universe. The mix....is just so good.
Not much into metal but this is an amazingly well achieved cinematic experience. Zappa is alive and dancing in one foot, clapping with the ears!!
In my opinion, Igorrr is not only the best band but pioneers defining a new Genre of their own. It is a coherent concept comprising many associative networks: Musical, literature heritage, sub-cultures (Metal/ Breakbeat/ Surf/Gaming sound samples/ Sfx/ food), atmospheres with a great world view. The figurative French representation of the rooster as a symbol, the meaning behind the camel/ Homous. The all-hit last 2 albums are made with a creative marketing mindset. Addressing wide range of target audience out of different cultures and moods across the planet. the song names, how they sound like, the art cover. One other important aspect is the genius composition, song structure, the quality of samples and the brilliant mix. Igorrr has a distinct one-of-a-kind sound signature, heaviest riffs ever and unmatched groove.
The contribution of Laure in the band is phenomenal and essential, i was lucky to see them live in 2018 at Fortarock, NL and she was there, what a mind-blowing show! . Excited to listen to Aphrodite in the upcoming album.
I am not sure why Metal Blade records is not promoting Igorrr as where they should be, among the top artists in the scene and beyond. Is it planned to keep it to a tight niche market?
It's great but no normal person would listen to this shit, let's be honest

I just want to make the music I love, without asking myself if it's gonna be too complex or too far from what people like. I want to make the music which has sense to me, with no restrictions, like a big party with metalheads, electronics nerds, classical and baroque-heads and gypsy violinists getting drunk and joining together to bring the best of every genre - Gautier Serre (no questions asked...)
Aaah, yes. Igorrr manifesting the outside chaos into a soundwave of gore. Love the eastern overtones.

Just another example of the French peoples gifted artistic talent and their ability to create and further develop the rich culture of western society. This is both classic and brand new, beyond previous works. it borrows from so many musical styles; it somehow properly represents them while forging them into something totally new and unique.
There are so many things that are perfect about this album. Simply a masterpiece. There are not many artists you listen to with a constant smile on your face and chills on the back. Incredible, as always from Igorrr.

When people tell me they listen to all kinds of music, I know they don't listen to Igorrr. Btw his talents get progressively better with each new album.
But, but,....I really do...😊
He also had a very talented line up to help him out. The more i listen to the album, the more i adore raw emotion Laure Le Prunenec brings to the recording. Came for the polka, stayed for the vocals
I cannot get enough of Igorrr. Fucking live for their unique approaches!
As one of the people who listened to Igorr in pre-Nostril times and loves Whourkr's "Concrete" beyond all reason and had their mind blown by "Hallelujah" when suddenly all the disparate elements in Gautier's music started to sound like they belonged together.... this is their best album so far. Each song is an actual "song", there's even choruses verses at times. Really, this is their best songwriting so far. The production is great as well, as always. Also I loved the addition of the eastern vibes, which is actually new for Gautier.
The album is noticeably more organic than the "old school" stuff by Gautier, but does give a few nods towards that style. Regardless, this possibly the most metal they've ever sounded and with such a great weight and heft to it. Igorrr has truly become one of the greats of the metal genre, even if they didn't really try to belong in that genre... or any genre.
Well said!
Agree so much about Concrete and Hallelujah
I'm really impressed at how it feels just as much like a sequel to Corpo-Mente and Lïan as it does to Savage Sinusoid. The sense of journey and emotional depth is breathtaking.
Agreed. Geometrically perfect forms, much less shok-content and much more bass guitar. I get Igorrr's music as a most truthful and clear view into the future.
Totally agree that this sounds like a mix of all their projects. I really hope they do another Corpo Mente album, that smoother style with Laure more at the center of the stage is just magical.
Just discovered Igorrr a couple months ago and I love them. Polyphonic Rust is my jam!
And in the first second I was like WHAT THE FUCK?! IS THAT CORPSEGRINDER?! No mentioning in the description... Aaand that next song is like... Are you fucking kidding me? First George is stabbing my guts and the next song is like How to make a true french baguette👌🤣
It's a first for the "full English chorus sung throughout" on his stuff I think. How traditional it is throws me off. Makes sense though, if you notice Gautier is literally always wearing a CC shirt. I'm guessing the right people noticed that and that relationship happened partly because of that. Or maybe he eventually got big enough that he hit him up directly and just literally asked. I feel like one of his all time dreams was probably to make a CC song hah.
Me and the demon bois this album summoned, chilling in my bedroom, 2 meters apart cus we ain't takin no chances.
Lost in Introspection.... What a journey! The whole album is an eargasm!!
I think that this is the best album for new listeners of Igorrr. Pure bangers
I think with every album they (he?) masters the style that was in there from the very beginning. It's just like with many bands I listen to - I almost cannot listen to their earlier albums for how goofy and immature they appear. With Igorrr I started to dig it a little bit from Savage Sinusoid, but newer things got me hooked, actually making me to listen back and start to hear that style I mentioned. Anyway, there has never been as fine Igorrr album as this one, which is a good sign, making us wonder what will come next. And of course it is always better to give people the best album (or track) if you want them to dig the artist. I just hooked up a bunch of my friends by showing them Camel Dancefloor - for me it is a best track by Igorrr up to date.
I think a lot of people can easily get hooked on this. Like, Igorrr's sound is exactly not metal enough for people who don't like metal, but also don't mind intense music in general to get into.
Yup, got me hooked. first time listening to Igorrr I was confused, then I found Very Noise.
Im curious how happy Igorrr must be to see ONLY positive and love reactions. This cheers my heart so much ♥️

Hello, nice to meet you. I listen to all genres and eras of rap and metal. They are and have always been my obsession. Same with rock and r&b. I also love EDM and reggae plus funk, reggaeton and punk. I grew up loving pop, easy rock, disco, mariachi, big bands and golden oldies. In school I played trombone so I learned classical, jazz and blues. I've played drums for 30 years and i try to learn about a new band daily. I love music in all forms. I may not listen to folk or country but I have tried and I can see why its so popular.
I've never heard of this band, I thought the name was maybe for Igor Cavalera lol This is amazing music and I must say it is DEFINITELY every genre all at once. By the 2nd song they're mixing classical with happy hard-core with death funk and jazz. This is mind melting!

Ps: I wasn't ready papa. Absolute unit of an album btw.
This album is such a trip!
Igorrr is its own genre.
true
"And then I felt my head explode and my mind was a mountain of wind..." If Unexpect, Mr Bungle and Anaal Nathrakh had a trio, this would be the lovechild. I just can't wipe that smile of my face while listening.
Good call!.....this album is like Disco Volante Pt 2
@@robjohnson208 there already is a spruance project like this its called secret chiefs 3
Yes! I was also thinking to throw Diablo Swing Orchestra into that weird orgy.
Same here
It reminds me of how I had a school project to design a vinyl album cover, so I chose Igorrr's Savage Sinusoid. Then once my teacher came to me while I was working on it and asked what genre this artist was, I told him that I had no idea...
I was lucky to see this band performing live yesterday.
first band I've heard in a while that got me excited like this! holy shit there's some mad talent here.
