    This is too much
    The suited sax guy
The bass player playing an sg
The overlayed large projections of band members on the background
    The OWL
The woodland creature (and when he lowers behind the amp)
    Clothing
    Glasses
    Dancing
    Hair
    Tree of life
    This is everything

And it seems to me that, in a weird way, despite the fact that the lyrics are damn serious and the video is a meme by itself, the video they made is actually helping the overall message that the lyrics are trying to send. @sergiuosan8674 4 роки тому +28

@@luchoorn5425 In my opinion, the take home message is a form of cherful nihilism. I am particularly intruiged by the verses "You wasted all that you have been given/ still hoping to find something to make life worth living". And in my view at least, it's about not losing yourself and dedicating your whole life by pursuing an idealistic dream, and remembering that you also have to live for yourself because this is your only chance to live and this world is all you got. But this however is combined with the idea of not taking life so serious and allowing yourself to go goofy and weird from time to time if that brings you joy ( that "trapped within your shame thing")

Sounds to me like a mix between Pink Floyd (psychedelic/progressive rock), Cynic (fusion/jazz/tech death), some Meshuggah (djent/mathcore, even if in this song I can't hear particular polymorphism) and maybe even some jazzy soul elements. And it works, fluid and flawless. Masterpiece, and maybe future milestone.
